I think it's much more wide-spanning than Trumpeting Ecstasy, and think that it's more enjoyable on a solo level than some of their most recent collaborations. Highly impressed by the diversity on this album. Definitely hyped for the band going forward. I respect the opinion, though, and can definitely see where you're coming from. It won't be for everyone. Definitely in my top 10 of the year so far, though.
I liked it a lot uhhhh, I don't get fantanos taste in extreme music. There's a lot of albums I enjoy to an extreme degree that he finds little depth in. Also I wish he did his research on the featured artists on this album

The crystalline, sterile production is off-putting and the compositions of the songs seems to be all over the place. FoH appears to be having a musical identity crisis. Nothing on this album hits like "Roots of Earth". In all aspects, it lacks the drive, emotion and ferocity of Roots. I saw them live with The Body a while back and the show was very lackluster. Just my opinion, dude. Im not into the trendy direction theyve gone. Take it or leave it, i guess.

Weeping Choir feels like an attempt to do something specific where Roots just felt like FoH doing them. Idk. Analyzing it so much just feels meh also. On a positive note, Relapse made a phenomenal move picking up Genocide Pact. Ive been following those guys since 2013 and had the chance to see them live in '13 and right before they got picked up by relapse. Their debut on Relapse was pretty killer as well. I;m stoked to see them get the recognition they deserve and bring back that late 80s early 90s dm.

Awesome to see you covering some metal, however I personally feel this is their best and most concise release yet. Easily being their most aggressive and grind oriented album with the vocals being other worldly and enough variety to break up the barrage of blast beats. The flow from start to finish is streamlined (yes including the noise oriented tracks), personally I'd give it a strong 8
Possibly Full of Hell's best solo record. MY favorite at least. I think the production on this suits their sound better than on Trumpeting Ecstasy. The song writing is also better too. Basically every second of this shit is killer. Great listen. Vocals are unbelievable. Love this album.
If anything proves that you shouldn't be reviewing metal, it's the moment where you compared this to Sunbather. I love Sunbather, but this shares literally zero elements in common. Like holy shit, "slightly melodic part in metal song" =/= Sunbather.

Uncluded it’s all opinion, but it is a more stripped back direction. But even then there’s still in-your-face tracks on the album like RICKY and P.A.T, and BIRDZ. I’d rather Denzel change things up than to just keep giving us TA13OOs and Imperials. Even if that change is more of a mellow direction, it still sounds good to me. Not his best, but I don’t think that was the intention

Uncluded ZUU? Just cause it’s not as cohesive as TA13OO doesn’t make it bad. It’s a nice Miami tribute album that still contains what we love about Denzel. 7/10 at the least imo
Uncluded it’s all opinion, but it is a more stripped back direction. But even then there’s still in-your-face tracks on the album like RICKY and P.A.T, and BIRDZ. I’d rather Denzel change things up than to just keep giving us TA13OOs and Imperials. Even if that change is more of a mellow direction, it still sounds good to me. Not his best, but I don’t think that was the intention

album did not do it for me. thought it would because I liked the first two singles they released. May had 3 great metal albums for me: Deathspell Omega, Mispyrming and Warforged. Did you gave those a shot?
