Thank you for this video. I appreciate you sharing and for all the details :) I’m curious when you say intercourse five days before ovulation, does this refer to the high peak days?
Yes, if you've gotten positive ovulation tests for several days you are still fertile. Sperm can live in the body for up to 5 days, while an egg can live for only 24 hours. If you want to boost your chances of getting pregnant and want to be more certain of ovulation day among all the positive results, know that the darkest line is your peak day, which signals that the egg will be released from the ovary within the next 24-36 hours. The T/C ratio of 1.06 indicates that your test result is positive, which means your surge came. If that ratio is deemed as "peak", you are likely to ovulate within the next 24-36 hours, which is the most fertile window. Good luck!
You should always have a control line (line closest to the handle of the strip) that appears if your test was performed correctly. If your test line appears to be very faint, your levels are still too low and you should test again the next day.
Hi there! Thank you for your question. The first day of your cycle is the first day of full flow, not spotting. From there, you can count to find the 5th day. If your cycle is irregular, tracking it over time can help you better understand your pattern. Hope this helps. Wish you all the best!
Hi Lucero, please know the ovulation usually occurs within 24-36 hours after LH peak. The most fertile window will be the day before peak, peak day and the day after peak. It’s recommended to try every other day in the fertile window, the day of your peak test and always the following day (and the next if possible)to increase your chance of conception. Baby dust to you!❤
Please kindly note many factors can affect the line intensity, for example, the way you saturate the test strips and the concentration of the urine sample. It is important to test consistently and pay attention to the overall trend. Alongside OPKs, track other fertility signs like cervical mucus and basal body temperature. This can provide additional clues about when you're nearing ovulation.
