    The review is really awesome - that is exactly what I was looking for because I am having trouble deciding whether to buy the JBL Reflect Mini NC or the JBL Reflect Flow Pro. And this review helped me a lot, perfectly describing the differences. It also seems to me that it is the only one in which both models are compared - I, at least, have not found another one. Hence, a small comment - it would be useful to include information about this somewhere in the description. For those looking for such a comparison, it would certainly help a lot.
    And I will also look soon at other reviews and the comparison you mentioned - because you have expanded the pool of potential "candidates" beyond the JBL models :)

    I bought the JBL Reflect Mini NC because I wanted buds for sport and I could get it new for about 92 bucks.
    - The earbuds stay put very well, but it is getting used to the feel.
    - One of my worries were the earbudtips that go into your ear (and yes, they are too hard and uncomfortable for my ears), so I put different ones on that I had laying around that solve that problem of comfort.
    - The other worry I had was the soundquality, but the equalizer does it's job and the sound quality is good (not perfect, but good).
    I have ordered more fitting earbudtips (SpinFit CP100's) to get more comfort and a better fit to improve the sound isolation and sound quality (more rich and "louder"). I'm almost positive this will be an improvement.

    Been looking forward to this video! I enjoy your in-depth analyses. Have you reviewed the Liberty 3 Pros yet? And if so how do the Reflect Flow Pros compare volume-wise & bass-wise (I have a bit of hearing loss so I need loud & bassy buds) to the L3P'S, and the Jabra Elite Active 7's?

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  2 роки тому +2

      You get more bass with the L3P and even with the Jabras than the JBL. In terms of volume both the Jabra and the Soundcore buds can get really loud. Maybe the Jabra is the loudest of them all but I'm not going to test them at full volume one by one if you don't mind... 😎

    I have the Liberty 3 Pro and they are Untouchable...for At Home Use.
    Now I'm looking for a Active pair, and thanks to this video, I'm Almost sold on the Jabra Elite 7 Active.
    They seem to have the most bang for the buck with features and sound quality/sub bass.
    I'm going to watch your in depth video on them before purchasing.
    I almost went for the JBL Reflect Flow Pro, before watching your video. Others videos said the bass was better on the JBL; I was relieved to hear that the Jabra's are better!
    Have a great day.

    All of your reviews are really good but this one really clicked it's nice to see your sense of humor also I always appreciate that especially in the last couple years. I have the Reflect Minis and all of the quirks that you talk about I totally agree with but there's something about the sound it's louder hits harder than anything else I've used. I think the JBL's EQ better than a lot of other earbuds if that makes sense these new earbuds are not enough of an upgrade for me I'll wait. 🤔👍🇺🇸💯 One question if I may what earbuds and headphones do you use as your daily drivers and your exercise buds as well? Thanks.

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  2 роки тому

      Thanks Mike. I keep giving chances to JBL buds hoping that once they might get the complete package right. There is so much potential and knowledge in that company. Regarding your question, recently I found myself just switching between earbuds depending on what I test and what I compare the actual buds to so no real daily drivers at all. For editing I use an pair ofAKG K371 (wired) headphones. The y are extremely comfortable for all day use and they have a neutral response. For exercise I still love to use my Jaybird Vista 2 or my Bose Sport Earbuds more than anything else but I found myself filming most of the time when training, so there has to be something else in my ears for the footage. That's not a complaint though...😁

    Thanks for the excellent review, thoroughly researched and professionally presented. The problem with these JBLs is the same as with any of their buds, the controls. Firstly, touch sensitive panels are inferior to physical buttons in most use cases but especially when training/ running. Secondly the sacrifice needed when deciding between the different control maps is unacceptable. I would buy these buds (and a number of their previous models) if JBL would offer a different control option. As it stands the Jabra Elite 7 are my choice.

      @@AndysTechTone Sadly my confidence in Jabra seems to have been misplaced. Having just bought the 7 active I've now been unable to sucessfully perform the required firmware update for more than a week. Frustratingly I have to pair the buds each time I open the Jabra + app and sometimes several times whilst still in the app. And the number of times the firmware update has failed is just tragic. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max and never imaged I'd have such problems. I've removed and re-installed the app multiple times, instructed the phone to forget the device and re-paired. Nothing works. I've been a champion of Jabra for some time having had the Elite 3 and 75t but I'll be returning these buds tomorrow and will steer clear of the brand for a while. Shocking experience...

      I love the EQ enhancements, but the ambient and NC three modes were superior on the Flow, plus the battery lasts forever. I put comply tips and the fit and NC is great.
      I just wish I could make them louder and customize the sound for different moods or activities.

    Damn man... Just watched the entire video and I'm pretty disappointed in the performance of these. I already ordered them due to JBL having a military discount which allowed me to get them for 140. I had the Jaybird vista's and their ANC was alright but not where I needed it to be due to my gyms loud salsa music. I think I might have to send these back and keep my beats fit pro. I was hoping that these could replace my beats fit due to me being a Android user and the beats app not having a lot of functions like a eq.
