    For me the most important thing about sports earbuds or in general is first of all the comfort and also the occlusion.
    I can justify the price of the Jabra, Beats and JBL with all the extras they offer, but these Sennheisers don't strike me as any better than the Earfun Free Pro 2 which cost $60-70.
    Thank you for the microphone test in real situation.

      100 euros/dollars would be a more realistic price point for these buds

    Ive got more than 10 different TWS and as long as the fit is snug the ANC doesnt matter imo. On over ear headphones its much more important

    Sounds like another really good option for workouts. Looking forward to your Sennheiser comparison as well. I got my Evos in recently and I've been impressed with them so far. Although I realize there's a substantial price difference I'd be interested to know how you think the Evo sound quality compares to the Momentum 3. Thank you for another excellent review! 👍

    Nice review! Looking for some earbuds for skating and snowboarding. Do you think these are the best option? Actually, I like the cx plus more (ANC and design), but I'm afraid that they won't stay in the ear securely enough. What do you think? Is there a big difference in terms of secure fit?

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  2 роки тому +1

      I would rather be worried about the lack of transparency mode on the Sport buds for safety reasons

    • @DVRKMORE
      @DVRKMORE 2 роки тому

      @@AndysTechTone so would you rather recommend the CX Plus? I had hoped the open earplugs from sports would be useful there. I am worried that the CX Plus will fall out if you fall if they are not tight enough. The sport cost me 89€ and the CX Plus cost me 104€ right now at sennheiser. Or do you recommend a completely different model?

    Andy, I love your videos! Would you honestly say that an earbud without wings, like the jabra elite 4 or 7, stays in as well as a wing design, like the bose or senheiser sport? People seem to say that it does but I find that hard to believe! just wanted to check with you before I buy! Thank you in advance :)

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  Рік тому

      Size, fit, shape and weight can mean more than any wings. At least that is my experience. And yes, the Jabra 7 won’t even budge in my ears. But that’s just my ears and the 7s. I’ve never tested the 4s though

    I really wish companies making "sport" headphones would stop trying to make their retention mechanisms so minimal. Some people with their ear shapes have really good luck with the retention, as Andy did in this video. However I keep running into situations where I buy these sorts of earbuds because they worked well retention wise with whatever reviews I'm watching, just to have them spit themselves out as soon as I start actually working out in them regardless of tip/wing configuration. Imo, the powerbeats got it right in this regard. Unfortunately, because apple things, they don't work the greatest with android.
    Also, maybe a hot take, but this fad of touch pads on earbuds I'm really not a fan of. Especially on sport headphones because when I'm using them I usually have sweaty hands, or have chalk on my hands from lifting.

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  2 роки тому +1

      I hear you, I’ve had my fair share of trouble with earbuds that seemed to work well for most people like Jabra. Our ear are different so you are right, earhooks might be the safest option in general. In term of controls, I mostly prefer physical buttons on sport buds myself but the touch controls on these buds work pretty well even during running and with sweaty hands too. However I don’t have much experience with chalk…

      The beats fit pro are the best fitness earbuds at the moment imo. The sound quality is good enough for workouts, but the fit/security, comfort, anc and transparency is second to none...
      I use the MTW3 for my gym workouts and beats fit pro for outdoor running and biking

    Hey please compare Bose Sport Earbuds against Sennheiser Sports Earbuds. Both are missing ANC nd TRANSPARENCY. But Bose is priced higher. I’m thinking of buying one of them.

    Hope you get to check out the Sony Linkbuds S soon. They appear to be a more compact XM4 alternative tho due to the lower price they have cut some features such as wireless charging. Also because XM4 has been on the market for nearly a year (likely to get replaced by XM5 later this year) the price diifference is not as big.
    These are also not as small as the 1More Comfobuds Mini you reviewed but they do have LDAC support like XM4's.

    I purchased this one 2 weeks ago and I really like the design as it stays secure in my ears. However, my small ears fit the smallest fins and tips only, which are the toughest and they hurt my ears a lot. I wonder if there is any way to soften them.
