It’s a combination of software, I use Solidworks these days for the design and assembly, but the actual G-Code is generated in BobCAD-CAM. My post processor (like a printer driver) in BobCAD-CAM is super tuned specifically for my Fadal VMC4020ht machine.
I am a total amateur. Amazing these carts. I just got a Sound Devices 442 and 702. Even the sound bag too. Mostly an Audiophile. This fascinates me and intrigues me.
I really appreciate this video. I was building my own cart but there were a couple of ideas that I overlooked
every so often i stumble upon something that i love! and i love learning this way! thanks so much!
Thank you Kim & Eric!
Great Video! I hope there is a follow up showing the completed video.
Hi Dylan, absolutely. We hope to return for a Part 2 later this year. Glad you enjoyed it :)
@@URSAStraps of course - you all have a perpetual invitation to the shop.
I didn't catch the safety squints reference last time through LOL I mean I heard it I didn't realize it was a reference to another UA-camr "AvE".
This dude is the Steve Albini of cart building.
well.. he got a point with the safety squints
They work quite well. I didn't realize it was an AvE reference until I re-watched it.
I enjoy this guy.
now I want a cart
I can arrange that.
Don’t count your June 22nds until they’re hatched
Haaaaaa, what year was this oh yeah.
3:39 for the life of me, I don't understand how that bag is staying in that angle....
Thanks for your video! Which CAD software (program) do you use?
Pretty certain Eric uses BobCAD
