This is an awesome little gem. Yes are you going to be shooting in this ridiculous location there's a rainstorm just acknowledge it and move on and it'll be less distracting assuming you can actually get anything in the can. The natural approach. Plus it adds vibrancy, life and depth to it.
Let's see there's a phrase what is it oh yeah The Show Must Go On. I feel like this a fun personal life story to leave here. I used to go to a church that had a yearly clambake, somehow thay managed to pick every year the date with absolutely the worst rainy weather. Sometimes the worship team would be set up and hey I was a young Observer to all of this. Subsequently I specialize in wet events done safely. A little bit of effort put into setup with expectations of getting water away from things that shouldn't get water or I giving you enough time to move things further away. Later in my life I helped a band doing a public event that decided to throw in the towel when it started raining even though nothing was getting wet under the tents, yes 10 by 10 pop up tents with no protection where they met. I planned out enough overhang on either side that the critical stuff stayed dry, the musicians on the other hand weren't too happy getting sprayed with rain. as soon as we got everything packed up the rain stopped.
Thanks for these types of videos, I am just starting out on the production audio side of things ( very amateur level) and I am learning a LOT. Thanks again
