The black backdrop...like such a simple and most likely way cheaper change that resulted in maximum contrast. Killed it.
Anyone who knows anything about bbing, knows that and lighting makes a HUGE difference. The fact the ifbb doesn't do this is mindblowing
That’s because they want to or have to pay sponsors so they blast all their crap on the backdrop
B.s they could easily show there sponsors, while doing a black backdrop and better lighting, that's complete b.s, the ifbb just sucks, same way they make the show at 12 at night and impossible for the athletes to peak and be rested, nothing they do is for the athletes/ makes any sense, I could go on and on, the ifbb does a terrible job promoting the sport and catering to the athletes
Bbing could be so much bigger then it is, if they promoted it better, and when it comes to the back drop/ lighting , imagine seeing top level guys like hadi, Derek, Samson, the difference would be staggering

Yea they get it.. paying the athletes higher prize money, good lighting for bbing, black back drop for them, lit. Everything the ifbb should be doing, but doesn't bc they suck
Imagine if u saw, Samson, had, Derek, nick etc under those lights and in front of the backdrop... they would look insane. The fact the ifbb,.does what they do is lit mind blowing. There presenting the sport looking as bad as possible LOL
Its so nice to see Martin seeming to be in a great frame of mind. The last time I saw him on something he seemed really down. Hope he can keep the champion mindset. I think Martin is going to be a truly badass competitor. Happy for him
This mindset that Martin have is something that is missing to a bb like James. To completely trust a trainer, give him chance to learn his body, and that is how you evolve.
No, James has had that mindset for years. James entirely trusted Patrick. James just wants to do it himself for his own peace of mind/personal goal. Which is entirely fair, more to life than optimising everything and James just wants to take control of his bodybuilding before he retires
If my goal is to win and be an elite bodybuilder I would look at the current practices my successful peers are having, i.e., having a coach. The problem with James is he wants to win, knows what to do, but won't fully commit. Even his workings/collaboration with JP, his presummed best friend in the sport, he would still do his thing! Lol.... exactly what the guy said is true... whats the point of even having a top level coach if u make the decisions yourself? LOL, james needs to chill tf out and put his trust in someone that knows what their doing.
If he does good he gets the credit, and if he does bad he gets the credit... its also a losing situation for Patrick as well, and tbh if it was me, i wouldn't even do it, you either want my help or u don't
@joejones8146 James did not entirely trust Patrick. I've heard him say several times that he would change things or "bounce ideas" off of Patrick. He's never fully taken a plan and just executed it. He's fully aware he doesn't and they asked him why he doesn't a few shows ago.
I do think he still struggles a bit confidence and this is a little self-savatoge. That's likely why Milos was confused when James said "he decided to refeed". Paying someone to be availalable when they dont know what you are doing fully, puts the coach in a horrible position... and thats what he said he asked milos to do. I don't blame Milos for being confused.
If you have competed, feeling small and hungry are the mental aspects of bodybuilding you have to master. If he can get a little more mentally strong and confident that he's one of the best, as well as he has done so far, he can be even greater.

Doesn't surprise me tbh, esp if there already pretty lean. And haven't been bulking hard, also some of these guys metabolism is insane, esp when u add in all the factors, like gear, amount of pure muscle mass on there frame, activity level, etc, alot of these guys if I ate anywhere near the amount of food as then I'd be Fat asf
There was a Canadian guy who would have gone pro but retired. He did 0 cardio , dropped his Cals slowly , no diuretics and walked on stage and took overall in every amateur show he did. He took having a family over a pro card.
This pod is about to make this 45 minute cardio session a whole lot better
