  • Just what the world needs, another exhaust video recorded on a phone... half in portrait mode too! Don't worry there are some drive by videos as well! I made sure to check all the boxes for making an exhaust video.
My Moto Guzzi build continues and debuts of UA-cam!
I fitted this 2 in 1 exhaust system from the good folks over at Zard.
I hope you enjoy watching this video!

dB killers are in for this video, they are removable. I don't have any intentions of removing them personally. I'm getting it tuned tomorrow morning. They say it's not necessary, but I think it's running a tad on the rich side.

It's hard to tell, how much louder is it than stock? Do you know about how much less it weighs than the stock exhaust? Your V7 is beautiful. Nice work.

It's definitely louder and more throaty, but it's not obnoxious. It's a proper sound. Weight was noticeably different. I don't know off the top of my head, but the weight definitely made it more nimble.

Would you recommend a moto guzzi v7 over the new royal enfield continental gt 650? the gt 650 is getting good reviews and is also a twin. What are your thoughts? Im researching what to get as my first bike and cant decide. Thanks for your input in advance!

I like my Guzzi. This bike is my first and I am very happy with it. The clutch is predictable and the motor responds with smooth, consistent power that makes it very fun and easy to ride. If you leave it stock, it's very comfortable to ride. I rode it across South Carolina about 4 hours and only stopped once to refuel.
I'd recommend it over the RE. The 750 in the Guzzi doesn't have enough power to throw you off, but has enough power to have fun. I think you'd get a bit tired with the RE.
edited for terrible grammar from typing this response on my phone...

V7iii is better than RE650. Trust me. I had both RE650GT and V7 but now only V7 in my garage. When I installed Zard 2-1 same as in this video but w/o db killer and tuned my bike with guzzitech map. It is faster and pull harder than tuned RE650GT.

The sound is better that the stock exhaust, but still not that heavy and loud. Here is a video with a double exhaust and awesome sound for a Moto Guzzi V7, enjoy!!!

      👍
I could remove the dB killer make mine louder, but I've chosen to keep them in. It's running a little lean now. I just bought a Rapid Bike Easy to hopefully alleviate that issue.
