Values Education is Important, Speaker tells Holmwood's Student Awardees

Dr Clifton Knight, Board chairman of Holmwood Technical High School in Christiana, Manchester Jamaica, also congratulated parents for their sacrifice and encouraged them to believe in their children. He urged them to continue to make investments in their children and support their journey so they can harness the opportunities and help navigate and solve the challenges in our country creatively.
He profusely thanked teachers for caring, for those who have stayed in the trenches, working with and providing guidance to students to make their achievements possible
"I acknowledg and salute you teachers for ypur commitment," he told the gathering.
About 100 students collected award certificates and trophies for achieving outstanding work in their subject areas, grade, high CSEC passes, Sports, and leadership in various Clubs and Societies. The ceremony lasted about two hours. It was held at the Kendal Conference Centre.
