@@ASTechWorkshop Sir I am working on 2 projects for which I am referring ur channel, I have some doubts related to raspberry pi Ram so please can u give me ur contact or social media I'd so that I can clear my doubts, kind request
Wonderful tutorial. What can be done to automatically have automatic light on? Any recommendation on some switches and Light Bulbs which can be connected to Pi? Also, the latest Pi 4 have fan installed, where camera will be connected in that case? Can I still push it despite having fan as long as I see its slot? Is there any impact on the fan?
This was a very informative video and a fun project. I do have a couple of questions. I tried to modify the code so that it doesn't send the email, but instead saves the .h264 file. But it will only rename the .h264 once, then every other file afterwards doesn't get saved. Also, does the email part of the code even still work now that Google disabled the allow less secure apps feature?
A very awesome project and commendable. But the issue I encountered is that the camera keeps on capturing videos without even waiting for the sensor to trigger it before capture. Please help me out bcos I supposed overcome it please 🙏
Thank you for this rich video, brother for my case I rather have a usb camera would it be possible for me to take over this project? or will there be items to add or install?
@@Bismaverdyaadhika Tried researching this but couldn't find a better way to match it with yours, but recently I was wondering if maybe we could use opencv as well, what do you think there- above or can we consider another solution
Hi, really nice video! thanks. Could you also do a video about a more complex setup involving multiple PIRs, no cameras (or optionally), but other outputs to enable automations? Like when PIR detects motions it activates SMS/email notifications or sounds a buzzer etc. Basically a multiple inputs/outputs setup. Also, would be great to have insights on how to integrate such a home alarm setup into Home Assistant...
I enjoyed the video...thank you for creating it. In regards to discovering what the IP address of the Raspberry PI is, why don't you just open a terminal on the PI and type in ifconfig? That will instantly tell you it's IP address and you won't have to go into your router. Thanks again for a nice video.
If u have dhcp enabled, and u power on the pi, some time it will assign random ip address. If it does then u have to get the rpi assigned ip from router in order to open shell..
For accessing ac lamp, first u need to access raspberry pi gpio pins. U can then add a 5v relay to any of the rpi gpio. Set snd reset the gpio pin from the code just like u sending email. tutorials-raspberrypi.com/raspberry-pi-control-relay-switch-via-gpio/
@@ASTechWorkshop thank you so much, I would do that. then how do I combine all of this to a single webpage whereby I can put off and on the lamp through a toggle switch? I'm very new to programming

Hello, thank you for this hard work and good Video. I did everything step by step, but unfortunately that didn't start my pi camera . I have a Raspberry Pi 3 model B +, and i have tested the other code in camera its ok plz guide me my motion sensor work fine other code, i guess its some problem in camera capture fuction plz tell me
I would suggest u to test the camera function separately... Write down the basic python code for capturing video first.. if u get the success, then include other module like motion sensor and email system..
Hi Brother,,,I have a question...If let say i wanna upload that video to my local server (which i created from Flask app) so that, we can login to that server and view it or download the video,,,how the coding will be brother??? And can i use USB webcam instead fr the coding u posted??? Thankss!!!
Instead of sending the video file as a mail attachment, u can copy thie file to an ftp server.. u can use scp unix command from python os library to copy file. For usb webcam u need to use a separate python library...
@@ASTechWorkshop sir, we are not able to install picamera module, is there anything we can do to so that I can import that module. If so, please let me know sir
Excellent video. You have clearly explained everything ,in easy to follow steps. Thanks. I was able to complete the project easily with minor issues which i faced, but then i referred back to your video i corrected the errors. I want to make a small addition, wherein once the PIR sensor detects a motion i want to also trigger another python script called warninglamp.py. this code switches on a warning LED connected to a gpio pin and LED remains on during the motion and then should stop when motion is not there. How can i call the warninglamp.py code from within your code to start and stop. your help and guidance will be appreciated alot. Thanks
U can import ur python file and call the start/stop method... as the pir detection is very swift, so it would be good to on the led for some sec, when motion detected....otherwise u will not realise the led was on..
Add a buzzer to any free gpio pin in rpi.. in the code add an action method for triggering buzzer, just like sending email function.. check this link for controlling rpi gpio from python --> www.ics.com/blog/control-raspberry-pi-gpio-pins-python
