Thanks for that class, it answered a couple of questions I was asking myself but ultimately gonna have to bite that bullet and study orchestral arrangements on my own to find what I'm looking for.
I found sonuscore orchestra elements to be a good addition to have in the free to use department it sounds 👌
Alternative title: "How to order Nightwish from Temu"
Mü-metal.
😂🍻
Love the VSTs review Trey but the editing, flow and production on this video is just at a level few UA-camrs can match. Phenominal work!
You went nuts with the fantasy jokes and i’m all here for it 🤣 Love the song too!
This is awesome!
Been using the BBC SO discover forever, such a. Great library! Gonna have to grab some of these other ones!
Trey, you are just so phantasmagorical, I adore you, keep doing you dude❤❤❤
We need a full version NOW please!!! 🎉
Love the Spitfire stuff, but it chews up so much hard drive space. Also, still getting the awesome "Better Than Raw" opening track vibes with the strings. Great vid- thank you!
I have a 4tb T7 SSD that I have everything on, and I'm still constantly deleting and re-downloading things haha
Nice Soroosh-core!
stealing that haha
Jeez Ryan hahaha
Always a Great show!
Great video Trey, your edits and humor will not go unappreciated!
I appreciate that!
Thanks for this. From someone that wants to start an epic symphonic metal band I believe this would be helpful!
Well done! I also use a lot from Spirfire but there are many new plugins, thanks man
Anytime i hear a pipe organ my brain goes "Dancing Mad"
Please more symphonic metal composing videos!
you got it
Nice work Trey - shout out to the wood nymphs!
Okay,,, that was pretty good.. I tip my hat to you, sir!
Glad you liked it!
Wow. You know when and where to sound the the different parts of an orchestra. Woodwinds, Horns, Harps...Choirs. Goddamn
Don’t show this to Jari from Wintersun, otherwise he’s going to have to give back all that crowdfunding money!
What a great idea!
"F**k off, I'm practicing my whimsey!!!" 🤣
1:13 Great catch sir
with that much money on the line you become spiderman
I feel like Symphony X needs to remix some of their older songs with all these wonderful new plug-ins. Am I right? Who wouldn't want to hear a more epic version of The Odyssey?
Yeah some of their sounds were not great hahaha
Galder is an amazing guitarist and songwriter🤘
he also has the best haircut that only handsome boys have
@@treyxaviermusic he ought to change his name to Balder
I've had 2:15 - 2:20 on repeat for 10 mins and I'm still not sick of it
Great video as usual. This could easily pass as a Blind Guardian tune.
Whoa that's high praise! If you like Blind Guardian then you're gonna like the next video I've got coming
@@treyxaviermusic I was thinking "I want to hear the rest of this song!" lol. And yes, I do like BG for sure. Since they're not putting out new music anytime soon this is the next best thing.
You could go to DnD, RP, and LARPing events to recruit musicians who play these instruments too.
instructions unclear, bought tuba. Neighbors hate me more, now.
I'd say "womp womp" but that might be a little too on the nose
awesome!!!
no u
I use Guitar pro for this stuff. It ain't that fancy, but it does it's job.
Basically, a Nightwish song!
0:33 Oh I know this one! You give it your child to raise.
I mean let's be honest, I'm not gonna raise that brat soooooo
Yet trey! BBC is the bomb!
Dude this song totally summoned my daughter I can confirm it does summon goblins and yes she did dance 💃🏻🤘
There's so much magic in this video that the headless guitar is hanging on a guitar hook on the wall.
Piccolo is an important part of symphonic metal!
thanks trey
thank YOU
Don’t forget Trey Drums!
Vsl bbo free is also great freebie.
Don't let Wintersun see this.
Great ! Sounded a bit like metal slug lol
Is that a nerf gjallrahorn I see in the background?
Good eye!
Trey up in here hiding a "How Nightwish Writes A Song" video as a tutorial for using free VSTs, smdh.
Do you have a tour of your desk arm keyboard pad octopus setup?
Not yet, but it's just desk clamp monitor/laptop arm stands from Amazon
The only thing missing is the DnD dice
oh it's comin
Excellent work. Surely they should be called piccalhigh 🤦♂️
noooooooooooooo
I bought a pickle but I still don't know what to do with it.
Was that a sample of Kenneth or are you actually risking his wrath by going behind his back?
he knew what this was
I need more ogre farts in my life
So Trey. Ive been following you for about a year now and I've always gotten the impression that you were a little negative towards symphonic metal particularly lyrics of a fantasy motif. Has this changed? To be truthful I'd welcome that change as I do enjoy that type of music. Just curious.
I mean, the problem isn't specifically that they're of symphonic metal or fantasy, it's just the 55384059834th bland regurgitated D&D tropes written as a novelty or a thinly veiled parody that's just plain embarrassing to me. I've listened to Blind Guardian and Nightwish and all kinds of awesome symphonic and power metal for 25 years, there's plenty of awesome stuff that's truly great. There's also just absolute troves of hackneyed uninspired garbage, and even if it's pretty good they're usually retreading the same well-worn ground. Nobody's making another Nightfall in Middle Earth
Hilarious!
idk what "Symphonic Metal" is & I cannot comprehend why anyone would want to create that.
Then today you're gonna learn something new!
