    Really good take from a Lions fan but what blows my mind is the fact that so many people hate on Goff with no respect given after years and years of top 10 play but Jordan Love has half a great year and EVERYONE is ready to Crown him. I'd be careful about that.

    • @MetroSportsYT

      I think Goff is a good QB. I would refrain from saying he has been consistently top 10, because the only years I would consider him top 10 would be 2023, 2018, and maybe 2022. But Goff has also had the privilege of playing on some AWESOME rosters. Love in a short sample size showed off insane amounts of talent. Hence why I think Love has a good argument to be above Goff

      Goff is very good behind an awesome Oline. When he’s pressured he’s a turn over machine & isn’t great off script or platform.
      Love played with the youngest group of skill players that clearly didn’t know what the hell they were doing through the first 7 games, and the Oline play was questionable & he didn’t play that terrible. When the skill talent figured it out, Oline play stabilized he put up all pro, top 3 QB numbers. Love shined under pressure & off platform. These reasons are why reasonable people conclude that Jordan has significantly higher upside than Goff. On offense it’s just the Lions Oline that’s clearly one of the best in the NFC, maybe entire NFL. Plus Gibbs is an absolute super ⭐️.
      Detroit overlooked GBs on thanksgiving & got humbled. They won’t do that again, but make no mistake GB is super young & unafraid of anyone in the NFL. It wouldn’t surprise me if both these teams are vying for best NFC record. Love’s talent COULD
      put GB over the top. It’s going to be a great competitive season in the NFC north.

      @@jankelsey9738 Honestly I understand where your coming from. It's just that I really feel like the amount of energy being put into Love being a SUPERSTAR is the same amount of energy being put into Goff being mediocre by the media...when Goffs stats say otherwise and what have we REALLY seen from Love? In such a short amount of time? Idk. I see the tools Love has and what Goff lacks BUT I'm taking Goff every day of the week when it counts UNTIL I see more from Love. Honestly these teams are going to absolutely battle it out. The entire division will be fun this year.

    The bears have never proven they can truly develop a QB. Williams couldnt do anything in a weaker pac12. Love still has a lot to prove and shouldnt be considered the 3rd coming in green bay yet. Even zach wilson had a good first season with the jets... look how that turned out.

    • @stanhry
      @stanhry Місяць тому +1

      That is dumb narrative about the bears. It’s is more they could develop a playoff caliber team not just a QB. Previous GMs were idiots, wasting draft picks or picking up wasted free agents for big money, and picking some of the worst coaches out there. There team president was an accountant not football guy. The current president , GM , and coach are football guys and it starting to show. Green Bay way over hyped I see them easily regressing.

    The TrashPandas have improved the roster by leaps and bounds over the last 2 yrs. Caleb has plenty of talent, but will have a TON of turnovers this year which will ultimately hold the team back from making the playoffs this year.
    The Packturds have improved as well, but it all hinges on Love not coming back to Earth and the new DC making the jump from college.
