Some ownership groups just don't care about winning, because it ultimately makes little difference in their pocketbooks. I had a long conversation a couple years ago with a guy who coached for Snyder's Redskins and he told me exactly that.

My Bears went from losing 14 straight games to finishing the season 5-3 over the last 9 weeks (should've been 7-1), and the main problem was the defense which was corrected and played great during that stretch, especially because we started getting pressure on QBs after the Sweat trade. I feel like the Bears got even better this offseason, but the success relies completely on how good Caleb looks.
