MiG-21 Bison, a much needed upgrade allowing it to fire more modern munitions, although as with all things, its flaws will always be visible. Su-30MKI currently is still using a decently old Russian radar, with not up-to-date systems. Hopefully Super-30 changes that.

Also, the whole project originated in 1980 with project commenced in 1986. As of AMCA its basically still a concept. It just passed the serious design phase, but already got delayed many times. Assuming Indias current capability, you can think of it as a concept since serious production is probably gonna go to the 40s🤡

Couldn’t keep the legacy of HF24 Marut alive. As well as what caused the failure and addressing that issue wasn’t done. Nuclear development took the front seat, so sanctions came, no engines, Kaveri engine was a failure. Now airforce doesn’t have their planes, still no engines. No investments on engine development after sanctions were lifted thinking we can buy some. Now they are aiming for 3 fighters, TEDBF, Amca, Tejas mk2 without an engine and without trying to make one. So all plans will fail eventually and that is ladies and gentlemen, how not to plan for the future. And I also know the results, finally seeing that all this is leading to nowhere, they will buy Russian Su57s and call it a day.
