Christopher Nolan Directed the Dark Night Batman Trilogy and the recent Oppenheimer (For those who don't follow directors) Let me know if you have heard any other great advice from Directors or other creatives which you have found helpful as an Artist!
Speaking of specialties, I’m reminded of low budget classic king fu movies. The fight scenes still look better than modern blockbusters despite the budget, because they went all out on their expertise.
Hi Tim. Thanks for putting in all the time and effort to share your knowledge with us. I was wondering if you have any videos on staying healthy as an artist. I am experiencing some wrist issues that are stopping me from drawing as intensively as I would like to. So basically do you have some tips on working ergonomically, how to setup your workspace, how to stretch, take breaks etc.
Yeah that is a great topic! I'll had a few plans to cover that stuff. I'm move it up in the schedule. I might do one episode here on it. and a few on The Drawing Codex where I can show different items that help etc.
Such an interesting talk! I do 3d animation, and what I create is aways constrained by what skills I have, what assets or tools exist that I can afford, and how good or bad certain kinds of things will look in the end. Certain really simple-looking actions, like a character taking a drink, for example, can take a week to animate and put together and still look like crap. That's when camera magic comes in: cut that or use a different angle, like a silhouette. It's always a challenge, but a fun challenge.

Always glad to hear your take on these more abstract topics
Thank you for getting me to think.
