Hey Bob I think I recognize your username and think we’ve been talking for years, hope you’ve been well. Yes there is, and it’s easy to use. I don’t have any tutorials on the editing part besides in my affiliate marketing course. If you want to go into affiliate marketing, I highly recommend going through the course I put together because it seriously has everything from idea to earning money covered fully step by step on screen recording to follow along. I recommend Davinci Resolve. It's the best free editing software out there. It might seem a bit intimidating at first, but follow a tutorial on UA-cam and you'll probably get the basics (which are really all you need) down quickly. Good luck!!

Can you share the other UA-cam channels you do affiliate marketing videos for? It would be nice to see examples of these types of videos. All the examples you showed here are of videos WITH a lot of subscribers and a huge audience (which is the opposite of your message). Even better would be to show the analytics and income from your affiliate marketing videos.

Thanks for the comment! The other channels are something I've kept quiet about because I don't want the algorithm thinking they are getting spam traffic from people going to them from this channel. I did show one of them in the course, so it's a limited audience that sees it (I showed UA-cam Adsense earnings, affiliate earnings, best performing videos, best thumbnails, etc.). As for proof of income, I shared this video ua-cam.com/video/B6iWpu_srx8/v-deo.htmlsi=71o_axX-MYJxf_Ai showing about $2M in profit. I hope that helps give you some peace of mind! I wish I could just share everything openly but I got burned doing this a few years ago so I've become more cautious.

Thank you for giving a clear road map Greg. I swear this is the final video to get me into action. I am from India and was doing research to start my affiliate marketing journey from zero. And I am going to use "search strategy" with video content creation. I am trying to target US users (obviously due to high paying audience 😀) so my doubt is, how to search affiliate programs suitable for those audience(google is giving me results based on my location) and how to order those products first so that I can make a real video first of all. All these questions are freaking me out. Can you give me a little guidance?
No worries! As long as the videos are on topics that relate to products that are sold in the US, Google and UA-cam will show your videos to the audience no matter where you are located 👍🏼

Thank you for your video :) I have a question, about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pintereste: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Google will automatically find it and rank it in the Google search results. They are scanning the internet for new content everyday so it happens automatically for us 👍

A very informative video. Thanks. The only downside is that you need to buy the products that you are promoting. Otherwise how can you make the video?
I'd start with any products that you already own, that makes it free to start. Also, you can make 10+ videos on the same single product, so you should have plenty of content with just a couple products. This is all explained in the course in more detail if you're interested.
When you put links for products, should i make my own website, use existing affiliate programs like amazon, or something else, thanks
Great question. I just use the link directly to the product. I've tried making websites for the products but they were more work and less effective 👍

So are you saying if we record a video related to the blog post, google will show the article?
Not exactly. Rather, Google will show the video. And you can put your affiliate links in the video description. Videos are much easier to make show up instead of articles. Hope that helps clarify.

Great question. For articles it’s actually very hard at the moment because of the AI competition. However for videos it’s typically easy by using the right kinds of video topics/titles. There’s a concept of reaching people at the right time in the buyer-cycle, and by making certain types of videos they show up in search very well. This is info I’ve learned from my own experience and analytics so I’ve reserved this for the students in the Masterclass.

Great question! Most affiliate programs just want to see that you have a UA-cam channel setup, but you don’t actually need any videos published yet 😀

So a person would still have to shoot, edit and post a video that relates to the product? What if a person finds a great subniche but its not something they're really familiar with?
Yes, but the video creation is easy now with just a smartphone and a free editing app. All shown step by step in the course if you're interested. As for the sub-niche, I know it will sound hard to believe but youtube is so low-competition for these style of videos that you can go into any niche you have knowledge in...seriously 👍 I've proved it over and over with my own channels. (I created an affiliate website and a youtube channel in a super competitive niche, and the website failed but the youtube channel did amazing).
What if I just screenshot the product and post it just as a photo and have the link in bio. Would that work?
I think you need to add value to the post, not just have a photo and a link.
But even with the search strategy you will still need time to be on the first result page since driving organic traffic does not happen the next day, could take a year
For articles that’s true, but for videos on UA-cam it can be overnight.
The hardest part is getting ranking while dealing with all these crazy algo updates
That’s only for text articles on websites 😉 Videos don’t have to deal with those issues

No worries at all, it still works 100% normal. It's just UA-cam shortening the link to make it look better, but it still goes to the full link when clicked.

How do I make the content of a product if I don't buy it?
What does cookie length or time mean?
Great question. That's the window of time after someone clicks your affiliate link that you will still get a commission on their purchases. They could click your link, not buy anything, then go back to that website another day and buy something, and you'd still get a commission if it's within the cookie length.

You can find companies on Google and find their affiliate programs to apply for free 👍
Why would successful gurus make these videos to increase their competition? Usually after they have saturated the field already. It is to sell their courses at $500 each.
That’s a great question, and I don’t blame you for thinking that! I thought the same thing a few years ago, and then a few things happened in my life. First thing is I made several million dollars in profit, and had built up the ongoing income streams without me having to continue working. And then secondly I read a book called the go giver by Bob Burg, where I was introduced to a concept of sharing openly, and how it can actually increase your own business. I used to think sharing what I was doing was going to increase the competition, but I’ve been doing it for several years now, and my businesses have only grown. Long story short, I get a lot more fulfillment from helping other people than I do from just working on my own businesses.

Great question. UA-cam and Google are craving 'user-generated' content rather than 'ai-generated' content, and videos are few and far between compared to text articles. With that said, if you make 'user-generated' content that is a video, it automatically will get shown in the search results on UA-cam and Google 👍

I do agree that user generated content is essential for any affiliate merketer, but you do need to have uour SEO and keyword game on point to really maximise standing out from the BIG channels to be found in search...

If Google is trying to get rid of ai content why did they create Google Bard? Are you saying that they are going to phase out Bard?
Great question. Nobody quite knows what will happen with Bard, but it's no secret that Bard failed pretty hard at launch. What I'm referring to is Google publicly announcing at each of the recent updates that they are combating spam (low value ai content) and removing it from their search results.
