    Ditch the rim and have a new one laced in. Once a bike wheel bends out of true that far - you will never get it straight again, that rim is BLOWN
    I've been spoking my own wheels since 1978, and tried once to re-spoke and true a thing like that.
    Chuck it, it's toast

    I broke a few spokes and found a local shop that could sell them too me, fixed my bike, but priced out a proper Excel rim and full spokes while I was there, it was about $500 for them to do it. These stock rims are weak and will bend at the slightest curb impact. Depending on your rear tire size, you might want to swap a size too I have a 21" rear, but I'm going with a 18" next cause I want to put a more beefier tire on there. but then I went back to my Alibaba contact, and they spec'd me out a rim, 5T motor and tire for 438$ I'll be reviewing it as soon as it gets here.

      Ok. In that case it might just make sense for me to just get a new motor and rim. The motor I have is good but it’s like 5 years old with a shredded cable. And the rim is messed up. I could probably sell this one to someone for like 300 then a new motor wheel should be like 6-700. I’ll look into it more

    EXACT same thing happened to me, rode it on a flat without realising. took a month to repair. now i’m facing worse issues, hall sensor error 40H. fixed it, then it blew itself again. these bikes are fun but you definitely get what you pay for in price for quality..

      @ENDOPRYSMyt  3 місяці тому

      Yeah for sure. So far I have been able to build bikes for other petiole with these parts that have experienced no issues. But my bike does and it all stems from my motor wheel I’m soo ready to get rid of it

    could have tinned the end of twisted wires. no frizzies.

    • @ENDOPRYSMyt
      @ENDOPRYSMyt  3 місяці тому +1

      It’s hard with my cheap ass kit because the wire ends up melting a lil before it tins

  • @that_guy6116
    @that_guy6116 3 місяці тому

    Have you tried truing the wheel? The spokes on those wheels are pretty strong and can easily pull the rim back into place. You should also take your wheel to someone with a wheel balancing machine, it just makes it smoother at high speed. Lacing a wheel can seem pretty scary at first but ive laced a few wheels recently and its not that hard, just takes some time

  • @Calthecool
    @Calthecool 3 місяці тому +2

    Soldering the wires like that isn’t a good way to do it, when you shove the cold wire into the pool of solder the solder will freeze before it can heat up the wire and not get inside the wire. You should have either put the wire into the connector and heated both up while adding solder, or crimped it.

    • @ENDOPRYSMyt
      @ENDOPRYSMyt  3 місяці тому +1

      That makes a lot of sense. I have trouble heating the wire tho because the wire coating melts.

    the left side front shock where it connects right under your handlebar (shit if i know what its called) youre missing the bolt that tightens the thingie.

      It’s actually pronounced “thingamadoodle” but close. That’s been missing for like 1.5 years it doesn’t effect much. But I should just get a new one it is pretty annoying to look at.

      @@ENDOPRYSMyt yea you need anti spark qs8 connectors that's what the issue is with sparking when connected and hurts the connection bad.
