I purchased my Konus scope, I waited till Turkey season was over as I needed to have my Shotgun drilled & tapped. Looking forward to trying it out. Thanks Matt!!!

I tried a pistol grip turkey shotgun with a high quality mounted 1.5 - 6 X scope a few years ago. I thought that I was finally creating my ultimate turkey gun, & I sincerely didn't like it. It felt big & clumsy for a turkey shotgun. Thankfully, someone else did like it, & I sold it after two seasons.
I prefer adding an adjustable fiber optic sight (TRUGLO TRU-BEAD Turkey Xtreme is my favorite) to my turkey gun. As my eyes have gotten older, I like their two tone front optic sight option with the adjustable rear peep sight (with two fiber optic dots on both sides). That combination within the package is great. I'm not a fan of a red dot or a large clunky scope.

I have a konus 3×9 Is on my muzzle loader. It holds zero through all power ranges. I'm sure that fix powered 1.5 Is never going to budge. And the glass is quite clear.

What magnification will Turkey head fill the diamond? Full zoom 5x I’m guessing but it doesn’t mention it in the instruction book

So how do you order one? I've had trouble finding Konus turkey scopes in the past. For aging eyes a scope on a turkey shotgun is pretty helpful, i speak from experience. I've never missed a bird with my scope.

I bought this scope. Quickly had flakes inside. Sent back after turkey season. Got new one and crossbars rotated while sighting it in. Sent back got a new one. It's for sale if anyone wants a new one. I must say they got no problem sending you a new one. Just can't get it to work to hunt.

I killed turkeys with open bead. The last one I missed was with open bead. Since I got a red dot, I am 100% kill. No misses. I suspect crosshairs will work as well. I'm just used to the red dot now.

I have noticed over my 42 years of turkey hunting that people that use optics to hunt turkeys can't shoot very well and it usually helps them. But people who can shoot don't need them. Don't have to worry about the scope getting bumped off, hanging on limbs going through the woods and What happens when the turkey starts running or flying ? I know that my bead is going to be on ! Don't want extra things to worry about. Good shooters don't need them.

A scope on a shotgun is like training wheels on a Harley
