Interested in this build but would be nice to see how the membrane was connected, how you connected the table, the grid marks in the plate part sandwiched between. Were there holes in the inner center part? So much seems missing from videos
Thanks for these videos! I successfully made this press with a few upgrades and it works great! Just a note: I started with a 2.5 CFM pump from Harbor Freight and I used the same size but box to test (Dewalt box). This pump could not influence the membrane enough to start the process. I upgraded to an 8 CFM Robinair Vacumaster and I replicated the same thing shown in the video, where the box started to warp inwards due to the sheer amount of vacuum. In summary, just go all out and buy a good pump.
... was there a part 1.5 or something? If the battery died, it would be nice to at least get a rundown on what you did there instead of showing us how happy you are that it works.
