From someone who is manic depressive with severe anxiety and also has to take opiates for 3 very painful chronic illnesses, this is EXACTLY what anxiety and opiates (specifically oxicodone which I have to take and he "chooses" to take) looks like. I don't think his motives for this show are bad and I don't think he's intentionally being rude. It's a combination of anxiety and how talkative opiates can make people, which I know from experience of both, unfortunately.

That young man is a hot mess. This is what the entertainment business does to people. Just listening to him was frightening: look at that young doctors face, he was not just horrified but really at a loss whilst realizing that this guy is a total narcissist! There no getting through to him. I wonder how much longer this guy can go without diet and therapeutic intervention.
Meradyth Tayler I don't think he is and I'm not sure how you arrived at that conclusion. He is in flight or flight response because of his general state of high anxiety. That's what makes him jumpy and interruptive. If you watch anxious people, this is what most of them look, sound & behave like.

But to tell you the truth i would beat his ass too playing loud music all through out the house all night long when everyone is trying to sleep. Nick had to be up early to go and record with the boys and by 3am after asking and telling Aaron a number of times to please turn the music down? Because he had been at it all day and all night. Rightly so Nick snapped and attacked him! I would have done the same Aaron was staying in his brothers house there for he should have respect and follow the rules. He kept all his siblings awake and Nick was sick of them knocking on his bedroom door complaining about Aaron and the music. Go look it up!?! The two main people who messed him up was his parents and the gun story is true his dad was arrested for threatening and attempted shooting of Aaron. They both stole all his money and all of Nicks in the beginning that's why they both ended f**ked up but Nick seems to have turned his life around now!

You can always find a way to justify your bad actions My fiancé and I battled with it for years and were able to overcome it together. I agree he's a mess but it's the drugs, not him. The real him is in there somewhere, struggling to break free
Nobody did anything to him. The entertainment business helped him and his brother become wealthy stars. He ruined his own damn life by taking drugs.

I see people writing about Aaron interrupting BUT maybe this is a time in his life when he is validated in his thoughts and someone is actually listening to him. He is used to a rapid past lifestyle, supporting his friends and family and maybe not having the tools to handle life in the next phase. Much love to him for seeking help and I wish him health and healing.

I don't think many people really understand why he is the way he is. I know from first hand experience, and it's awful. I still try to make up to my family and friends for my behavior while an addict. It's a terrible lifestyle and is a hard one to get out of, especially if you're in to deep. I'm glad I wasn't in to deep, otherwise I don't know what would have happened.
Fredbob I wish people would educate themselves about mental health disorders. Some people are so quick to blame certain conditions on drugs. It's sad the lack empathy I witness on a daily basis when dealing with families of patients who have some sort of mental health disorder.

Clearly drugs have taken over him completely. Sorry to say this but this wont end well in my opinion.
Vicodin and xanax has taken over him completely? I'm on pain medication and have an as needed anxiety medication but I'm not like that-- I'm at a healthy weight. There's no way that vicodin (which is what the pain medicine is that they said he tested positive for) and xanax can do this alone. That's absolutely ignorant to think that those two medications can do this to a person. He's got control issues which is why he interrupts everyone. He's obviously anorexic (control issues are a symptom or a cause it can be either or both for that). The medications that he tested positive for cannot do this to a person, both of those medications have the side effect of GAINING weight and neither of them have the personality side effects or can cause the personality traits he's displaying.
That's not true. You are a lucky person who isn't an addict. I'm a nurse and like I always say, some people can have a surgery, take Vicodin for 3 weeks, and then ween off and never think about it again. Some people take it for 3 weeks and then are buying it off of friends a week later and then losing everything because of it 6 months later. Vicodin and Xanax CAN kill you ESPECIALLY if you don't have opiate tolerance. Opiates decrease your respirations, Xanax slows down your entire body, so if you ABUSE opiates like if you take 8 Vicodin in an hour (I had a friend who used to take OVER TWENTY A DAY - and eventually went to oxycontin and then heroin and then went to rehab a few times and finally cleaned up but they lost EVERYTHING all bc of abusing Xanax at first. All I'm saying is maybe you can take your prescribed Vicodin (or whatever) exactly as you're meant to, lets say 2 a day, and you can do the same with Xanax - not take It every day and then on days you do take it - keep it under control. There are some people if you give them a bottle of Xanax they'll take the whole thing in 2 days. And yes that IS true. So consider yourself lucky for not having the mental disorder that makes you keep taking more and more until it takes over. It is DEFINTELY possible to be so skinny and lose everything from these drugs... he may be taking 15 a day from the moment he wakes up....

Medically I'm not wrong considering I work in the medical field and even if I didn't work in the medical field I can read studies, use google, and in fact read the side of a pill bottle.

His story breaks my heart. His past and family issues really messed him up. The family dynamics didn't just mess him up, but all of his siblings. I hope he seeks the help that he needs to get better.
It annoys me how a lot of you people on here can judge and act like you know him. Though it is easy to see that he's in desperate need of help for all the health issues he has going on, I can honestly see that he really wants to be helped and get his health back on track. He has had a hard life and he's such a beautiful soul. I believe in you, Aaron. Don't ever let anyone bring you down. 💕

I think that Aaron is interrupting or reflecting on his issues, to defend himself, he is feeling attacked and criticized. It is understandable, due to the amount of backlash and negative comments that people have made about him, especially due to things which have occurred in his life recently, be it his legal issues or the end of a relationship or coming out as bi-sexual. I think that Aaron is feeling insecure about the things people are "picking" at, especially because these are open wounds. It seems to me, like he would benefit greatly from therapy, specifically DBT or some variation of it. Aaron needs positive reinforcement, he should probably take a break and lead a more private life, because it seems he is feeling a little overwhelmed, understandably, from being exposed in so many different ways so quickly. Out of all doctors here, the psychologist from the Drug Tests Result video addressed him the best, in my opinion, for his character and current profile, psychologically. I'm not a specialist though, just throwing this out into the wind. Pessimism and criticism, aren't helping - because he probably reads what people are saying or has someone relay these things to him. I won't attack the comment section, but I will say that there could be a considerable amount of improvement in sensitivity towards personal issues, discussed in a public forum. Not for the safety and security of those that pejorative comments would offend, but because of the domino effect these things have at times.
Rocco Thank you for sharing this. I completely agree with you. I have BPD and PTSD, the pills weren't working so I started using drugs to cope at one point, until I learned about BPD. Watching this broke my heart because I get it, he's tired and desperately wants peace.
I sure wish he'd lived long enough to figure it out. I've known for a while that a lot of the things he describes are things I have gone thru with my stomach. I learned I had to give up sugar & gluten or wheat & grain products, milk... It's not easy to live with. Being nauseated all the time. I can't imagine trying to have a public career at the same time. I feel bad for him. I let depression come over me once and my bmi was also at 17, I wasn't sleeping and waking up with anxiety and nausea too. You can be your own worst enemy, or your mental health can be. It's hard to feel trapped in your own brain. But he has the money and resources to stay clean and get better so I wish him the best.
As a addict 12 years sober I see him in me for sure. He is basically saying everything he thinks everyone wants to hear trying to talk his way out of everyone's opinions. Little does he know that Actions and results are the only way to earn the trust and positive comments back from people close to him and the public. He thrives off positive attention and falls apart with negativity.

He just breaks my heart. Imagine sleeping every night but waking up and never feeling like you’ve rested. And then also feeling anxious and agitated and groggy and scared. All these emotions. Look at what happens when people don’t sleep for just a few days. Imagine not sleeping ever. It’s a constant state of slight psychosis with a mixture of bouts of sanity. I was monitored several nights and every night I wouldn’t hit the REM level. And it’s no wonder why I wake up every morning and Feel upset or not feel well. If I try to explain this to somebody else though just look at mr sideways. It seems like it’s a rare thing. Because I really don’t hear people talk about it. Aaron Carter seems like he truly does suffer some bad effects from thr drugs. But I really believe he can do it. He’s not completely gone.
All he needs to do is get somewhere and sit his ass down. and try his best to live a normal life.

Ayanna Janae He has been on prescription pain medication and medication for anxiety which causes this behavior. He has ulcers and other issues with his throat and stomach. In addition he has suffered from abuse from family members. The medications alone are toxic enough to kill him if not taken as instructed. When he is interrupting it is how he is processing the information and internalizing it. He is struggling to keep his head above water as he struggles to try and gain control over his life.
Ayanna Janae It only takes about 24hrs of disuse to clear a drug test for amphetamines/cocaine. Users typically binge for a few days and then sleep for a few, he is likely in between binges.

Give credit to this gastroenterologist. They are not typically as empathetic, or in tune with the psychological aspects of the people they treat.
Candida in the esophagus is not healthy at all, I left mine untreated for a long time and ended up losing 60% of the muscle in my esophagus. I ended up needing surgery, and losing part of my GI tract. He needs to get this treated asap. ☹️

Fame is not for everyone. There is more to life than standing in the spotlight for entertainment. Right now he should focus more on his health and wellbeing.
He needed to talk to Dr Drew or Dr Phil and not necessarily these doctors if he really wanted to do one of these TV shows.
He is not ready. All I hear is key words coming from Aaron to make this moment pass. He has to hit rock bottom. I've been there. When you think you've hit rock bottom there's further to go.

Whoever is responsible for his schedule, needs to intentionally give him a solid 12hrs to himself a day.
We can all obviously see one of the roots of Aaron's problems...he doesn't listen. The constant talking over people and need to reassure them speaks volumes of his character. Perhaps if he spent more time listening to those around him, he would be in a slightly better place.

This is what happens when you allow your kids to be famous. He was perved by an old man, now he's confused about his sexuality and he is using drugs to escape the pain and memory. Really sad to see. I hope he pulls through triumphantly.
glad to hear he's ready to make a change to be health. I think the first step once he has an understanding of any health problems is to take time off to let his body recoup. Get on a schedule, get off the prescriptions, get the ongoing help you need. He should also stop reading that celebrity trash, it's all lies and it will make you feel bad about yourself.

It's sad. His whole family was/is so dysfunctional. His parents took advantage of he and his brother and their wealth made in the entertainment business. They never had a stable home life or guidance as children, so it's no wonder he's struggling. Just listening to him it's obvious he's learned to tell people what they want to hear. He has a lot of work to do but hopefully he'll come through successfully. Everyone deserves to live a peaceful, happy life.

If you watched the test results. He doesn't have "dope" in his system. Everything he did have is prescription and weed isn't dope. He needs help to fully not depend on anxiety meds and anti depression meds.

In order to treat it I had to follow an restrictive diet and eliminate everything that hurts my gut luke gluten wheat grains etc and also I have to control my emotions and AVOID STRESS

Aaron needs to stop interrupting, making excuses, listen and take the Doctor's advice.
I be live he is at a point that he can stop his negative lifestyle and look for other options for optimal results. As of now, his frame of mind is adversely affecting his body.
why did he keep cutting them off?
He is literally stuck in “fight or flight” mode of his sympathetic nervous system. As someone who has lived in trauma myself (along with fear by a former step-parent) it is a hard cycle to shut off.
Although I never really followed his music, It would benefit him mentally and physically to take the docs up on their offer for help.
That said.... I recognize that his choices and results are already public knowledge by now and I am behind the times since I just saw this clip today.
To the body shaming trolls who’ve commented negatively,
Please find something else to focus on beside hate or negativity. If your photos were out there, as a celebrity or past-celebrity (for those who are hung up on nomenclature), what would potentially make you feel shitty? If your answer is “nothing” then you’re either perfect (wrong!) or you’re lying to yourself. If you look great, then maybe it’s another fault like you can’t add or spell, or you’ve had secret plastic surgery, there will always be that 1 thing you wish could be just a little bit better. So if other people focused on that 1 thing you cannot fix or hide, and called you out- day after day after day it would probably get into your head, just like it does Aaron. Move on, educate yourself or go to the gym or whatever it is that is something positive you can do for you.

Ugh, Aaron makes me crazy.
He doesn’t listen to anything anyone is saying. He’s only thinking about his response.
He is saying exactly what he thinks they want to hear but the Dr.’s and all of us can see he’s just spewing bullshit.
Maybe he wants to talk n have someone listen.
Why doesn't he get help..in private..stop over sharing and do the work and share with your close friends and family.
They need to start by asking him to shut up and listen. He's like going 1000 mph.

Is it just me, or does it seem like he interrupts them, just to tell them what he thinks they want to hear?? I don't feel like he's really LISTENING. If he's SO knowledgeable about his issues, he wouldn't be there!
He wants help, but he keeps rudely interrupting.
People saying he keep interrupting but it is his interview. He needs to say something otherwise the too or just going to be discussing him and his face and what's the point of him being there and might as well be a talk show with them talking crap
He either can't or won't stop talking long enough to listen to the doctors. It's very hard to watch. I believe what the doctor on the right is saying about his need to quiet down his mind and find peace before his physical problems can be addressed. He probably needs to be admitted for 2 or 3 months to a facility so that he can start working with professionals full time on both his emotional & then his physical issues. He's not going to be able to conquer this by himself. The problem is, he still thinks he can.
At 3:38, he's acting. I don't doubt he has suffered at his young age. However, he has developed a type of personality that, at this point, will inhibit his ability to move passed whatever has caused him to manifest into the physical mess that we see.
I can see drugs being the main problem here.
