Its always good to know how to do repairs and diagnose problems, not only that it gives you something to go back and look at if you forget what way things are supposed to be reconnected. You can sometimes only learn from your mistakes and teach others is very helpful.
Of all the things you do, I love watching the mulching machine the best! I’m a 57 year old woman living in the city and all I want for Christmas is a mulcher🤣
I’m 69 & I love watching the mulching machine, don’t know why but that’s me & I also like all the content you put out,,it’s fascinating to see how awesome you make the places look .. first time I started watching,,,I watched till 2 a.m. Have a happy & healthy 2022❤️🇨🇦❤️
"HARD WORK IS REWARDED"! - That's where YOU come in! And you've been kind enough to take us on your journey of lots of work, equipment & repair. buying more stuff (more repair), then a couple new things along with VIDEO for us to see it all, a GREAT crew (W, J, M) a great, loving, always SUPPORTIVE wife along with your constant smile makes me have to extend a Very MERRY CHRISTMAS and many years as GREAT AS YOU'VE HAD!!!
Andrew Camarata makes millions on fixing his equipment behind the scenes of exactly that ,the frustrations of fixing his equipment and yes lots of people love that type of content! I do
Many thanks for your past 12 months coverage guys. Happy New Year to all the Team! looking forward to another year's entertainment!!! Stay safe guys. All the best from Scotland.
I like to see the whole story. Describing what happens with the equipment is part of it. You show and tell what's happening. Like I said I like the whole story. I like how a mess can be cleaned up and look so clean.
Hey John. Love to see the good the bad and the ugly. Not to wish that on anyone. Breakdowns and obstacles(wire etc.) are my biggest nightmare. Show it all! Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas 🎄
Hey John, great video as always and a fantastic job. Yes please include video of the good, bad and the ugly stuff. Always want the good to happen but in any business there's the not so much. Merry Christmas to you and the guys and family. God Bless 🙏
Love repeat customers......says so much about the work done by UBC! Happy Holidays! ☃🎁🎄🎅❄❤ P.S.Really hope to see more shop-related "stuff". AND, a few team fishing segments.....at pond projects. 😎👍🤗
awesome video, yes, we all have those hard days, thank you for sharing, I enjoy watching all your videos, showing how you repair your equipment is always great too. Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas too.
I was a linesman for the telephone company back in the 80s. Put up a lot of new cable and removed alot of old cable. One thing was when you tore down the old every foot of the old had to be accounted for and returned to the telephone company or there would be an internal investigation. (They we’re afraid of copper theft and the liability of what your going through here). Guess they’re not so anal anymore.
I think the showing of the tangled phone cable (wires) was good to show! (HEY - rumor has it that was connected to the live phone grid and customers are furious!) No, what it shows is the realities of life YOU deal with just like the rest of us. You have developed a great technique to handle things 'at ease' that we all see as an educational asset to us all. Thanks for the reality of it all! Sonny
Hiya thanks for explaining how the machine function . I always like how u put it into plain English or in ur case American . Wish 🤞 you all a happy holiday 😊
Merry Christmas to you, your family, and the crew at Upstate Brush Control, John. Glad that you got the older ASV fixed. That wire you got tangled up in looked more like a vehicle wiring harness than phone wire.
While broadcast television is long dead ... it's so great to see that still ... there's no socialism in the woods. Love this channel and others like it.
Great video again. Wish me luck with my project. I am going to use a dosser for the first time next week clearing out around a pond behind my house and a fence line. borrowing the dosser from the guy that leases 60 acres from me for cattle. its just a rough gully that feeds the pond and it has alot of locus trees and hackberry. cant use my tractor because of the turain and locus trees. if you don't know locus, it's a smaller tree about 20 ft tall that is covered with 2 -4 inch thorns all over it on all branches so no using anything with tires. and it will eat you up using a chain saw.
As I sit here wearing my Carhartt hoodie I figured let me check out your Merch store. There is a Santa because the Merch store finally has been restocked with new items.... Just ordered me my first hoodie (after watching your channel for over a year), Merry Christmas John and best wishes out to your Crew and families....
Jon , I love behind the scenes stuff , please include some in the future . I find all your work interesting and family shots are also really nice and don’t forget the dog . Keep up the good work . 🇬🇧👍👍
Nice clean-up. That was interesting to see what how to un-mess a mess. Hard work brings great food, yum-yum ! Merry Christmas to UBC and families. Be safe.
Who would have thought to look for telephone cable that far back in the woods??? Abandoned cars, collapsed barns, rocks and old fence yes!! But telephone cable…..yes it was a Monday!! Nice work guys!
Believe it or not even girls like to watch watch your videos also I enjoy it very much so, Hope you and your team have a Merry Christmas and a very safe New Year!!!!
A great visit with at least two of the Crew right before Christmas...👍. Man, that was a lot of wire! Merry Christmas to Jon, Joshua Willie and Micah! May the New Year bring prosperity and continued good health to you and your families.....and many more great videos. 🌲🥰🌲❤️
Behind the seans videos sounds good. There is a lot of good to come out of them. Who knows someone else might be having a problem and can get some good advice out of them to correct a problem. It also sounds like you have had to put a lot into that machine for only 2000 hours .
Great video John, I really like your work ethic and integrity and your devotion to our Lord and savior Jesus. God bless you and your family in this wonderful time of celebrating the birth of our Lord. Bless your crew and their families in Jesus name
Hey buddy 😉, I fix phone cables all day, and what you did to that 50 pair was down right evil. That looked like old school 22 gauge wire, very pure copper, high payout at the right scrap dealer.
I like your show when you're working the grass and small tree, I wish I have one like your small brush control which is connecting to the Bab Cat tractor.
its channels with great content like this which convinced me to dump my £60 / mnth satellite tv and get UA-cam Premium for just £12 / mnth instead :) cant remember the last time i watched tv except for the weather report...Happy Xmas everyone :)
Good video again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to y’all. John I think a behind the scenes video would be good, since it would give a glimpse into being an owner of the fine machines would be like.
You should cut up 12-18" long pieces of that telephone cable, when you are working on a machine, take a single color coded wire, snip in in half, twist half into the hose or wire you need to detach, take the other half and twist onto the connector or nipple the hose fits, this way you keep everything straight.
To you Jon your family and your work family. Hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas, Another great job. I got to get down in our woods and get it cleaned out much like you did to that one. we also have a small creek and i want to be able to get to it all the way down it on our property. To bad i don't have the equipment you do to get it done, lot of hand work for sure..man that wire made a MESS... maybe need to keep some kinda wire cutter in the machine with you for when that happens. Take care.
Hey my Pro Crew, John Josh Willie and Micah I'm praying that y'all are having a wonderful holiday I know that y'all have to work I know I haven't come in it in a while but I've been enjoying the holidays that's all I can tell you and no I have not been sick thank the Lord for that. Good video, more input no matter what makes a great video, good looking piece of property, just you and the guys keep doing what your doing and carry on.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Behind the scenes of John losing his cool.... absolutely! We all go through mishaps on the job and handle stressors differently. Typically, we'll look back on our reactions and laugh how blown out of proportion they were OR we get fired up again at the situation.
I would think a good heavy pair of nippers and a big channel lock or two would have their own place in the cab. I'm looking at doing this to my farm property in MN and I fully expect to have several encounters with barbed wire etc. You never know what you find in the woods. There as a model a coup in my dad's swamp land, there can be anything. always be prepared.
Telephone wire was the bane of our mowers in the county. I lost count of how many spindles we rebuilt because of telephone wire. It seems that the telephone men liked to just drop the wire they had just replaced, usually at the bottom of the pole. I've spent a few hours on the road cutting the wire from mower spindles. If caught in time cutting was all that was needed, but let go longer usually meant replacing bearings and seals.
Great videos, I’m in the process of getting started In the industry with my own business. Figuring out how much to charge is one of my biggest obstacles. The one question I do have that has been concerning me is how do know the property that the client is paying you to clear is theirs? Unfortunately property is not always square in my area. Do they have property surveyed? Do you have them put markers where there property ends? Do you have them sign a legal waiver that it is their property? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank thank you.
Had to lmao on the phone wire, incidents do happen and you didn't see it coming lol, have a safe and great merry Christmas to you and all of your family and crew, James, from Susquehanna Pennsylvania

break down problems are always cool to see, just reminds us that things happen and that were not alone in those problems.
You need to keep a good set of wire cutters and a bolt cutter for cables in the cab for just those situations.
maintainace and problem solving are alway good vids!!
Hey, buddy! You are hard working man and you get rewarded for your hard honest work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!
