Love Japanese curry. I’ve made it both from scratch and using the s &b cubes and I couldn’t tell the difference. It’s really good on rice, noodles or mashed potatoes!
Oh yes this is different will definitely try making it with quorn chicken Neil or as, you say chick peas.. I'd prefer the real deal with chicken thighs they are always nice and moist.. Thanks Geoff hope you are having a nice weekend 🌺👌🤗💋
Hi Marshall. Thanks. This is not too sweet, it just has a slight sweetness about it, as much due to the optional ingredients, which I read were introduced so the curry would appeal more to children, That may not be true though.
Hi Geoff, I love this curry! I discovered this Japanese curry since moving to California. I like the mild version, same brand too. Thanks for another great recipe. J.
Hi Mary. Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi curries are very popular here in the UK. But they are all very different, and are much more spicy, than this mild Japanese curry. My personal preference is for mild spicing, so this Japanese curry suits my tastes perfectly.
I never thought of using grated apples, honey, and Worcester sauce to fill out the flavor of the curry. Will try this very soon. Thank you for the recipe@
Hi Rikki. Since the spice is very light in the curry the optional extras give a lovely additional flavour. But I also like the curry sauce just as it is, on Katsu chicken.
Ooh Geoff, your niece and her husband are lucky ducks. Judging by your taste test this is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
HI Di. Thanks very much. My niece reported, 'it was delicious, thanks unc'. Though I think she misspelled the 'hunk' appelation.

You’re making me hungry Geoff 😋 Thanks for another delicious recipe 👍
Hi Barbara. You are very welcome. It is very tasty.
Ohhhh this looks nice Geoff! I love a Chinese curry, so I'll probably like this one! Thanks!
Hi Caz. Thanks very much. I used to enoy a nice Chinese curry too, but haven't had one for many years.

Hi Dina. Thanks very much.
This is something different. Thanks for the video.
Oh yes, a little bit different, and so delicious.

HI Leigh. It is very good, I must say. I might make my own from scratch at some stage.
This looks so good!! I’m going to attempt to braise a piece of beef brisket with Apricots & Prunes this weekend, wish me luck! 🙏🏻
Hi Swamper60. Thanks very much. Good luck with your brisket. I sounds delicious.

Hi Henrietta. Yes a little different, but delicious. I hope you both enjoy yours.
Some nice dishes lately Geoff, this one not for me but I'm sure if you like sweet and sour it would be lovely, thumbs up and as usual, thanks mate.

Hi Jean. It is very good. I found out about it when my sister in Canada bought some and tried it. I hadn't heard of it before then.
Ohh that looks good 😋 just off Saturday morning shopping. This looks like Sunday dinner for us . Thanks Geoff😊 Nice shirt 👕
Hhi Liverbird. Thanks very much. It's a nice mild sauce, which suits me so well since I don't like very spicy. I hope you enjoy it too.
Hello Geoff. This is something I have never tasted is curry. Don't even know what it smells like.

Never ever heard of curry roux. You learn something new every day. Thankyou! May order it from Amazon
Hi Julia. It seems expensive on Amazon but in the UK and North America it seems readily available in supermarkets.

Just to sat tablespoons not teaspoons. Im loving your content Geoff
Hi Rachel. I did say teaspoons, when I meant tablespoons. But put tbsp on the screen and an extra note along the bottom, to clear up the confusion.
