- I have this nasty old 2006 RM250 that I'm going to turn into a 2019 RM250 with all the goodies. In this video, we will be reassembling the powervalves and top end, as well as fitting the carburettor and kickstart, with all the new parts. Stay tuned for more content. Much more content to come including riding vids, bike builds and restorations, How To's and much more.

Hey Guys. I just realised I put the power valve disc things (sorry I don’t know what they are called) on backwards, they just need to be flipped around so the slots are facing outward. I’m unsure of what the effect would of been if I had left it like this. Sorry if I mislead anyone. Cheers 👍
Thankfully I read the comments ah 😂 was thinking mine are backwards. Do you have a video on setting the power valve?
@@jondoyle8741 yea I don't think it makes a difference. The slots are just grab holes so you can pull them out easily for maintenance. The power valve adjuster really depends on your riding style and how you want the power too hit. I don't have a vid explaining it but I believe the minimum is 1 ¼ turn and maximum 2½. Hope this helps.
Ps did you measure your ring gaps in the cylinder, as just by looking at your cylinder walls the rings are butting up as they are too tight .
Yes I did they are in spec. But thanks anyway.
hey where do you get your t handles from
Motoxparts, I'll put the link in the description of the video to where you can get them. Cheers 👍
