Right? Such an arresting looking world. A lot comes down to the gameplay mechanics with that one I think. I hope we get some freedom to just look at the setting.
Radio the universe, Tenjutsu, Twisted Tower, Motordoom, Tears of Metal and Chained Together just to name a few I’m looking at my wishlist is bonkers all while my back log is begging me to stop
Wonderful games! Played a few of the demos, and lok was very neat. Have you tried the demo for ELATION FOR THE WONDER BOX 6000? weird indie game with a 5 minute demo
I haven't, but i've seen playthroughs of it. GOt more fascinated by it than i initially thought I would. I hope it gets more known, alongside Cookie cutter from late 2023. Likewise a beautifully 2D animated Metroidvania with an unusual sci-fi/cyberpunk setting. It's a realy passion project of its respective dev and he's quick in asking for feedback, bugs, and what people would like to see in the future from the game. He's got more planned and i'm here for it.
@@GamingInTheWild You're most welcome. Fair warning that Cookie Cutter can be quite provocative and weird and makes no concessions on that front, but it's not here to ridicule itself for the weirdness either. The dev made it as a culmination of all the media that he, and the team he later assembled, enjoyed throughout life. Easter eggs all over the place. Lead dev also has a philosophy of stories for the sake of stories having value, as cliché as they can be. Cookie Cutter's not here to reinvent the wheel or be the new Blasphemous or Hollow Knight. It is here to offer a world all its own with pretty solid gameplay throughout, and the people that have jived with it, have *strongly* jived with it. No promises that you *will* love it and even I, a big fan, was pushed away from some initial things, but i'm glad I stuck with it. I hope that you can enjoy it and may spread word on Cookie Cutter and its mad world, so that it can get more known.
Thanks for mentioning Hell of an Office, it is a work of love from a very young studio from Barcelona
Hey John,
Glad you included our cat detective, Albert Wilde: Quantum P.I. in your amazing selection!
😻
Hey, glad you're making it! Haven't seen a game with that look before. ✨
Nobody Wants To Die definitely looks intriguing...thanks for the heads up...

@@GamingInTheWild Definitely. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
Really appreciate the helpful pointers to so many great games! Thanks for the round-up.
Very welcome! They're fun to make too, love staying up to date.
Somehow missed parcel corps, excited for that, love games about stringing together movement so hell of an office is also on my radar
Nice! So many games to stay on top of eh?
a bunch of really interesting games, thanks!
Very very welcome! :)
Love unsighted so Abyss X Zero is a must buy, can't wait!
NODE looks so much like Inside, which is one of my favorite games of all time.

Is Radio The Universe ever coming out? Am oddly fascinated by that game's aesthetic. I hope it doesn't go overboard on difficulty

I will look it up, thanks!
Any interest in Nine Sols? I love the art style but haven’t played it as I don’t have a PC. I’m hoping it will come to Switch 2 in the future.
I've been playing it, it's *really* good - covered it in the "best month for indie games" video a little way back :)
