@@stilianifakidaraki3724 People pleasers go out of their way to try to include everyone, which is well intended, but poorly received by people who do not want to take part. People pleasers can often be overbearing and too committed to trying to pry shy people out of their shells, cheer up depressed people, etc. If your daily life is miserable and someone at work keeps bugging you with small talk that you don't want to engage in and telling you to smile more or something like that, you will not like that person even though they mean well.
protip: it's a lot more effective to be a people pleaser if you create the illusion that you do have a mind of your own, by doing things like choosing a different movie or scented candle flavor as your favorite, or occasionally disagreeing with certain viewpoints. that way it feels more genuine and legitimate rather than just being friends with an AI program.
as a people-pleaser, i entirely agree! no, i mean actually actually agree: in my personal experience, disagreeing with people on the most surface-level of things has done nothing but train me better in the social theatre of 'safe' disagreements it has made my conflict avoidance easier to practice and more covert, as i can always disagree on the little things and people can form a cartoon-like image of me, based on what colours i wear or my favourite scented candle flavour, with all other aspects being assumed to be similar to their own what i hate more than being a people-pleaser is the advice people give me to get out of it 'ooh you don't have to please everyone all the time' 'pick strawberry even if the other picks chocolate' this will surely make me stop feeling like i need acceptance from strangers

“People pleasers please people for their own personal profit” Say that 3 times fast.
almost perfect alliteration lol

People pleasers please people to propagate personal profit

This man cannot decide on an aspect ratio.
That’s a very good cultural observation.
He just isn't a people pleaser.
Yes, and that's the beauty of it. My personal favourite is this 1:1 ratio. It's just so... square, you know?
