I have been looking at these offerings a long time. I bought the Relwen Quilted Tanker jacket from Huckberry and it's the best Fall/Winter jacket that I have. I bought it during their BF Sale. It was only $208 vs the retail is something over $300 so I couldn't resist and I bought it. I am so glad I did because not only is the jacket super warm, it is super comfy, and it looks great on me. The QC is superb, there is not one loose stitch or anything out of place. It's truly the best jacket that I have ever bought including some of my Northface jackets. I really love the Relwen line of jackets/vests. It's like heritage but also modern. Thanks.
I had the tanker in hand once, and ultimately sent it back. Not because it wasn't awesome, just because how the pockets were sewn at the top hit me right at my gut and made my belly look even bigger than it is/was! Hah! :) Agreed about the QC and overall quality. It's so tough to show people that in a video. I know if folks just tried a Relwen product (any of them, really) they'd be sold. I have everything from thermal tees, to flannels, to blazers, to jackets. All great stuff! Thanks for the comment, brother!!
Another great Relwen video - I'm a huge Relwen fan - basically the only product I've bought over the last year - I have the White Windup - and love it - in the last couple months I bought the Maize popover from Huckleberry as I always liked that color. I'm still getting use to gracefully pulling it off of me without looking like I'm stuck - but in general love the popover for a little different look than a zip up. I've debated over a vest for long time as I typically don't wear a vest but starting to think it could be useful as an extra layer in the dead of winter here in Minnesota or in the spring fall as well. The one thing I find interesting about the windzip compared to all the other Relwen products is the 'unfinished' seams on the inside - Relwen usually does great work covering up seams on the inside to add extra durability - but the seams on the inside of the Windzip are exposed - not a big deal I guess but like the look of the concealed seams much better.
Hey, Michael! Really appreciate it. The maize popover looks so cool, and I agree, it's tough to get used to taking it off somewhat gracefully! Hah! My education in that regard continues. Since you already love Relwen, you really gotta try to vest out. Just as a layer over a long-sleeve tee or long-sleeve waffle shirt keeps you warm down to like 50 or so, then a light jacket will take you down the 35 or so... i end up getting so much extra use out of my light jackets pairing with a vest. It's funny, I didnt even notice the seam thing until you just pointed it out. Next time I do a comp vid I need to pay closer attention to things!
Sign me up for the jacket.🎉Thanks Patrick. And as I've said before I'm region agnostic and don't care where something is made so long as the quality is on point.
Id go for the vest!! Im naturally a human oven. So a vest and a flannel shirt, im good to go to around 0°f. Then i consider putting on an actual jacket. Lol
Other than it's sold on huckberry, I can't see much difference to justify the price difference in these vs something at Academy sports or REI. I say that owning some jackets from Iron and resin, so I don't mind paying more for clothes manufactured out of the USA. Also, the colors of the jackets seem hard to match.
That's the funny thing about clothing, right? There are so many good options out there, some of us try some, some try others. Living in Colorado, I have extensive experience with the regular stuff (North Face, mostly, but some Columbia, Patagonia also) and Relwen is a tier higher in quality for this sort of midweight, fall/winter stuff. Just my opinion, of course... but it's pretty clear to me wearing them. That of course doesn't come through in a video. Thanks for the comment, man!

Huckberry was having a sale so I found your review. You actually convinced me to try the popover instead of the jacket. Thanks for the video!
Glad I could help! The popover gets more wear for me now than the jacket for sure. 👍

Yup! Good deal. Def a nice piece.
I wondered if these have a cinch cord at the bottom to tighten them up on your waist?
They do not. Thanks for the question!
Great video, enjoyed watching it 💯 will hopefully get a Relwen soon
Thanks a bunch, man! Yeah - great products. They go on sale a lot so don't be afraid to wait. :)

Ha!! I love it. The Human Oven!! Good point for sure.

Oh, and you're not wrong about the colors. That's why I have as neutral as I can get here, basically.
@@rockymtnstyle I could see giving them a shot if the colors were better. But the colors they combine are a little too loud for me
Fair enough!
No one complains about quality with their smartphone (that's made in China)...
Very true. Chinese made seems to applied vastly differently by people for different products for whatever reason.
