I was so excited to tell you all about it that I forgot to tell you which Chanel 19 I have - doh!! This is the Chanel 19, Size Small, Black Goatskin Leather 🙃. How has it fared from constant use? Do I still love it? Watch to find out!

The variety of textures in the *yutulu* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.

Thanks for the review! Love your bag!! I got my first Chanel and I got the Chanel 19 as well in iridescent pinkish yellow also in goatskin! And I’m so inlove!!! I think the Chanel 19 is a show stopper! When I see people wearing it I saw the bag! Was never a fan of the classic n the boy but when I see the Chanel 19 I was like about time they make a beautiful new classic!!

Love the 19 and I agree with you. This is what I wear with jeans/casual wear.
I wish more you tubers would do a review of the wear and tear of their chanel 19 bags. I original wanted a goatskin. They are not produced now so I tried several from fashionphile that were like new excellent condition but sent both back as they both had structure issues and many winkles. I asked my SA and she said goatskin will scratch too but lambskin is easier to rub the scratches out. Plus she agreed that overtime the goatskin winkles more. As lately they are all lambskin I bought the small in black before the last increase. I must say I feel the lambskin is not as delicate as other lambskins. Fashionable Amy did a review of her Lambskin 19 that is over a year old and it still looks new -no scratches or slouching. Maybe each collection has different quality’s of leather.
I always lay my handbags flat on their back in their dustbags to avoid sagging. This should help the structure remain the same longer.

Question since you’re on the petite size like me. How is it cross body? How do you feel about it?
Hi Lala! I tell you what I think😉. The boy (which I have never been liked) it is as edgy as the Chanel 19 yes but… the 19 has other more classic features like the cc lock and leather Intertwined straps. It is less boxy looking and easier to style as it can be worn in different ways that the boy cannot. Also, the 19 was the last bag Karl made, and for that reason alone, it should pass the test of time. Of course this is my personal opinion:) I had the same bag as you, (the black goatskin)and I didn’t use it for two years and sold it. I agree that it is an easy care free bag, but there is something in the look that kept throwing me off so I always reached for something else:/. Great video!

This was a great detailed review. Like you I purchased the 19 in 21P Brown but as beautiful as it was I felt in that color it looked so big on me. I’m petite also and couldn’t get use to the larger quilts. I have been thinking about trying the 19 in black since a few other UA-camrs that own both commented that the black looks smaller. Interesting how much you love yours even though you prefer structured bags. Thanks for sharing.
I think you are right - the 19 does look larger in lighter colors 🤔

Very detailed review. I could tell you really love this bag despite all the cons you mentioned 😆. I also don’t like the leather part of the strap and I think it won’t hold its shape over time. Loving the slouchy, soft silhouette and I’m thinking of getting a tweed one 😌😌😌. New subbie 🤗

I have it in white goat Devine summer bag great with white dress or white blouse jeans and chanel jacket other than the reissue 2.55 it's my favorite I use base plate and organiser perfect chanel have so many different leather I like this one for the 29 the lamb is Devine to I intent to get it in black. Great review I find the back on the medium size goat will wrinkle but it's leather natural and beautiful. That's the beauty of leather ❤
Between the coco handle in small, the 19 or mini rectangular which would you suggest? I own 3 classic flaps thank you!
It's not meant to be structured, the strap is meant for shoulder not crossbody. Karl created the bag the way he wanted. Everyone buys organizers for the classic and structured bags. I love mine. Everybody has the classic.

Amazing review💕 for the 19s i prefer them in lambskin, the goat unfortunately does not wear well in terms of wrinkling & looking old lol i owned the black goat 19 & dark beige in lambskin. Sold the black after a few months but the dark beige lamb is a forever bag for me 🥰 oh & both of mine were in size small

Fabluxlover - totally agree on fashionphile the goatskin smalls are very wrinkled compared to lambskin - I always bought caviar and never considered a lambskin bag - but bought the small black lambskin bag right before the last increase of $600. It is beautiful and my SA said the lamb on the 19 is more durable. Would love to get the dark beige too!

I pretty much sold all of my chanel bags as they either look too big on me or ..... 😣 just too much trouble how I had to reorganize everything after taking something out of the bag (in the smaller sizes)
🤔🤔 How many of us actually do enjoy their bags or just because it is a Chanel? & with the price increase every year .... just not worth it because I feel that their quality had gone down 😢

I just bought the beige color, haven’t wear it, but just realized the chain on handle scratches a lot, like the gold metal kind of peel off! Have you find this problem? This is like brand new bag! How come scratch a lot…Just curious ..

Oh wow. You’re the first person making such a detailed video. I’ve been thinking about getting one since 2020 but I’m still not sure.
I just love how squishy it is even though I love structured bags. I’ll be making an appointment with my SA soon just so I can check the 19 out s bit more and maybe get one if I see the right color…
The quilts in the front got a bit saggy. Yessss Just like human skin with age 😂😂

I was told by Chanel to store my 19 laying down!
I did consider that! But seeing how the bottom of the bag got so wrinkly, I am afraid storing it laying down would create wrinkles on the front and back 😱 I figured "the pooch" would be less noticeable 😉
@@LalaLV yes for sure! I have a samorga in mine too. I just don’t want it to squish down from the weight of the chain either. Maybe I need to rotate it lol
@@erinbeth9810 My SA gave me a white dust bag for mine and told me to store the chain on the outside of the bag (laying in back of the bag) and I store the inside with my zoomoni organizer filled with tissue paper. This way no chain weight from the bag to weigh it down. I also wrap the top chain with felt an lay on the back of the bag.
That's how i store my 19 too, laying on its back, while stuffing the bag with a big bubble packet and chains inside
I just hate the puffy pillow look. I wish they would’ve made it more like the classics.
Love the bag but I personally don’t think their bags are really an investment anymore considering their quality decrease over the past couple of years - I don’t think their resale price will compare to the vintage kind. Shame really x I like their bag *repxbag* commercial

I don’t find this bag appealing, the two tone metal hardware along with the matte gold finish, it just looks rather basic and boring so I don’t see the appeal especially in black
