The Chanel 19 .... We love it .... and like others have said it is so much better with an organiser. Handbag Angels organiser with base and side shapers work brilliantly and help to keep the bag fully supported .... it's a game changer for this beautiful bag xx

Firstly can we talk about your vavavoom sleek Hollywood hair? Gorgeous. So I thought you would change your mind. I have two mediums and a large in beautiful 21A grey and the charcoal grey and I love them! I have to use an organizer with this bag to keep the structure better. It’s a must! I love them every bit as much as all my other Chanel styles including the classic flap in the jumbo size. Not a med large fan. My reissue however is my keeper if I could only keep one Chanel. I love this try out of the bag. You should make it a thing every few months and let us know what you think.

Really great review Minnie! I have a 21P caramel 19 and I love it!! I put a bag organizer in it immediately after purchasing and it looks beautiful - Personally I don’t like the look of the deflated quilts so the organizer makes it look so puffy and structured!
100% agree with you on this one. The mixed metal chain is a distraction and weighs the bag down. If the chain was only one tone and thinner in size, I would be a fan.
Interesting video! I, personally, really like the 19. It's easy yet luxe. A casual & cool little extra. And I like that. Yours has a wonderful cherry red color. But I do feel that the person that owned this, stored it flat under a pile of other bags, because normally the quilts are puffed if you store it properly. So that's a shame. I do stuff my 19 bags when I don't wear them. And I don't let them lie flat - especially not under other items.
I have to agree that this bag you’ve been using is soooo slouchy and almost flattened. Mine doesn’t look anything like that. I use it with an organizer and I stuff it when stored. But even when it isn’t stuffed it is much less slouchy amd not flat at all. It will fall back sometimes as the bottom is soft, but it’s nice and puffy and full looking. I’ve had mine for about 1.5 years. I do agree about the leather interior, but I think it would make it much more structured which wasn’t what they wanted the design to be I think. I have a small/medium Chanel 19 in white and large Chanel 19 in caramel. I love them! The cons you listed are why I like them 😂 I will say that your red Chanel 19 looks like it was not stored or taken care of properly. I’ve had my small Chanel 19 for over a year and it still looks brand new. The quilting on mine are not wrinkly and deflated like how yours is. My bag also isn’t caved in like how yours is. I bought a felt organizer off Amazon to gently help it keep its structure. It definitely depends on lifestyle and personal style. 😊 I wear my large caramel one as my everyday bag and I mainly use my white one for formal events/date nights. Like I said, totally depends on your own personal style. I definitely enjoyed watching your video. ❤
I’m so glad you gave this bag a chance, I have 3 of them all in maxi size the thing with the 19 is the larger the size the shorter the chain. I adore mine it’s like Karl said let’s marry the Gabrielle and the reissue and kick in just a little classic flap for good measure, I have to have an organizer inside simply because of the way it puddles when sitting. I think this was a brilliant decision on FASHIONPHILE part it would help people have what’s needed to make an informed decision they should really implement this.
I love the chanel 19 as I feel like its young and fresh and still elegant. I've always wanted something classic from chanel but the classic flap I've always associated with elegant granny's not for me in my 20s
I sold my black one for the same reason. Although I did cross over the straps from inside to make it a short shoulder bag a few times. The bag is extremely specific with not much versatility.
LOOOOOOOOVE the 19 and have several. I do prefer the look with an organizer inside so it’s structured. Some love the slouchy look, to each their own. The 19 wears fabulously, mine all look brand new after loads of wearing. Definitely prefer the 19 to my CFs (it’s more youthful looking too) and reach for them FAR more often. One of the 19’s best feature - the back pocket is actually functional. LOVE!!!
It’s a great bag so user friendly. Yes fashionphile has some bags that have been beat to hell and not taken care of properly. This is one of them. Pretty color tho.

Minnie I love the size, open pocket & back pocket. The lamb skin is beautiful but the chains are a big NO for me! Too busy for sure & I am not a chain strap kinda girl. Not a fan, glad you got to try it out.
Why pointed all the flaws in great details. lol. I bought this bag 3 times, because of the the puffiness, color and leather. Lambskin is best leather for me. Now I have found the perfect bag IMO, but the chain is still bothering me. too bulky and heavy. However, I can’t deny how practical 19 bag is way more than the jumbo or Trendy cc ( both bags are just sitting pretty in my closet). Proper storage and Insert will work wonders for this bag. Haha interestingly I wasn't a big fan of it as well at the beginning. Then it grew on me. Went to the store and tried the large and was deflated because my heart didn't sing. Tried the smaller version finally and love it/sings because of the practicality and edgy. Lol still haven't worn it public yet. 🤭
Great video! I agree with everything you said :-) it really annoys me when straps aren’t adjustable or removable. It kills all your options. I have - LVT lambskin twist and both straps are removable and the long strap is adjustable and it just works!

Fashionphile is recently not accepting some of the popular bags. I requested a pochette Metis quote to sell mine, they said they are not accepting buy back Metis at this point. And I got a very low ball offer for sell my brand new jumbo CF black caviar leather. What’s your opinion about the thoughts of fashionphile?
Looking at this particular C19 I can see why you think this bag won’t hold its shape, but I must say, fashionphile made a mistake sending you a bag that it is obvious the previous owner did not care well for it. I own a C19 one size bigger than that which is more like medium-jumbo in CF, I have worn the bag a lot and my bag has no sagging like that red and the quilts are still like the first day I bought it. My bag is from 21k so it’s a year old. I also think this bag will not benefit from getting leather lining as the bag will has more unnecessary weight, just MHO of course.
This is a 21S bag, crazy how beat up it was for its age. I know, adding a leather lining cuts into the lightness of the bag but from a price point, fabric lining on a $6,000 is a joke.

The chains are a complete turn off for me. I could get past the large quilting and the slouchiness but - those chains, NO! I have six Chanel bags from the jumbo down to the mini and I always consider whether the chains are comfortable AND esthetically pleasing.
Fantastic review! Completely agree with you. I love that you picked the red color, it’s a fascinating design overall. I’m just not a chain bag person 😳 I wish I was, they’re so pretty to look at. I have a Gucci Marmont and YSL Loulou small in my collection, beautiful bags but I almost never reach for them because I just don’t like the bulky chains making all that clinking noise, it’s embarrassing.

I have this bag in red and I love it. However, I agree that it looks like it’s sitting on a shelf in Goodwill! 😳 The organizer helps.

Did you find your chain to be tarnished? Mine is brand new, but I find that the antique gold has some silver tarnis and not sure if this is typical.

I see all your cons, if I had the funds I will get me one in black or camel color. Not in my budget or wish list. I am content with my handbag collection right now. Agreed that for the price the interior should be leather.

The bag look use like you said. It look like a second hand bag. For that price point Is a no no for me.
The chains are a complete turn off for me. I could get past the large quilting and the slouchiness but - those chains, NO! I have six Chanel bags from the jumbo down to the mini and I always consider whether the chains are comfortable AND esthetically pleasing.

I’m just not a chain bag person 😳 I wish I was, they’re so pretty to look at. I have a Gucci Marmont and YSL Loulou small in my collection, beautiful bags but I almost never reach for them because I just don’t like the bulky chains making all that clinking noise, it’s embarrassing.

Didn’t like the bag when it came out, still don’t. I don’t like big gaps between the bag & the flap or the mixed metal.
