Logitech's MX Master 3S is the latest evolution of what is widely considered the best mouse if you're looking for something that can handle everyday computing and specialized work. It's made to be as silent as possible while still having a satisfying click, and there are seven buttons (most of which you can customize to your liking). The mouse is made for right-handers, with an ergonomic design that is comfortable to use all day. XDA's Brady Snyder went hands-on with the Logitech MX Master 3S two years after its release, noting that "it's still the king of mice" even as we await an MX Master 4. The mouse connects wirelessly via Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz dongle, and it can be paired with up to three devices for quick switching. It'll even work across operating systems. You can expect more than two months of battery life on a charge, and it's easy to juice up thanks to the USB-C port. Scrolling is incredibly smooth and accurate thanks to the electromagnetic wheel, and the 8,000 DPI sensor will work on practically any surface, including glass. Check out more of the best silent PC mice if you like the idea but aren't entirely sold on the product.
Microsoft's Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse is a far more affordable alternative to our overall pick, and it'll be a great choice for casual computing in the home or office. It doesn't have nearly as many extra buttons as the MX Master 3S, but it does have a couple of thumb buttons to go along with the usual left and right click. The mouse is made for the right hand, with an ergonomic design that prevents wrist and forearm stress. The mouse is wireless and connects via Bluetooth, with up to 30 feet of range if you're in an open area. You can pair the mouse with upto three device for quick switching. Unfortunately, it is not rechargeable; instead, it runs on two AAA batteries that Microsoft claims can last for up to 15 months before needing replacement. The mouse is available in Matte Black, Glacier, Pastel Blue, and Peach color options to better suit your style.
The Lenovo Go Wireless Mouse is an cheaper vertical mouse layout option than the Logitech Lift and the Logitech MX Vertical. Its price ranges from $30 to $50, depending on sales (which Lenovo frequently has). Despite this, it has a strong luxury feel thanks to the comfortable, stylish corks side finish, and it also has many of the Lifts and MX Vertical's strength. These include the natural 57-degree "handshake position" angle and the six programmable buttons. The Go Wireless mouse also features three programmable DPI steps (800 - 2,400), which you can cycle using the DPI switch button. The Lenovo Go Wireless mouse has a battery life of up to 18 months via one AA battery. The main drawback is the Go Wireless side button placement. Instead of being in the divot where your thumb rests like it is on the MX Vertical the side buttons are instead located on the mouse's top edge. You'll have to strain your thumb to reach them, which throws a wrench in the mouse's otherwise strong ergonomics.
