Ok if this is on site and your a sub contractor I would work it like this Mask up all sockets ,switches ,upstands ,kitchen units and tiles Mistcoat your walls Fill and caulk woodwork , fill walls and ceilings Rub down and dust down all walls and woodwork Mask up hinges to doors I think I have a video on that. Spray your woodwork , double undercoat doors , frames and window fills Spray ceilings and walls room by room , when you spray the walls spray the perimeters of the walls above skirts then you can spray from the top of the wall down to to perimeter edge , that way you don't cover your undercoated skirtings with emulsion. Second fill woodwork if needed and touch up with a brush Then apply the satinwood with a brush and roller. By the way if you haven't got one buy yourself 3m m3000 handmasker , excellent for making up tiles , kitchen units and upstands

Hi Cam, I’m about to purschase a spray machine after researching to do a 4 bed house. Student accommodation. I’m torn between a Graco 395 or, after watching you, a Tritech T5. I seem to be getting quite a lot of painting jobs and want to start spraying. Any advice gratefully received 😀
Garciamrcool I would say both brands are pretty much like a Samsung or a iPhone. There both good spray rigs , the t5 is a bit more powerful than 395 it's more on par with the 495 . Dialing the pressure in on the graco can be a bit annoying whilst on the t5 it's really quick to dial in , being more powerful you can spray a larger tip on a t5 but you dot need to be spraying a 025 tip. The graco takes less time to clean than the t5 but the t5 is a solid machine and the build quality is right up there . If it was me I would get a t5 because it's a more powerful spray rig with a real high standard of build quality and it's only a little bit more expensive than the 395 I would buy the t5 over a 495 as well. One thing I have noticed between the graco and the t5 is I hadn't used my 390 for 8 months pulled it out worked straight away while as my t5 didnt use it for a month and the ball got stuck , Its easily fixed but it still got stuck. I would still go t5

My only reservation with the tritech machines in the Uk is where to get one and the spares and service back up. Graco seems to have a much bigger presence. Did you have problems tracking down a Tritech machine or getting it repaired serviced or problems getting accessories?
Hiya Colin. When you put pump armour in your unit to store for a couple of weeks you run it through your prime tube and then turn it off before putting it in spray mode. I just wounder would it be ok to take the hose off and store it with no hose on. Thanks
Hi pal Difficult times , we as painters are reliant on other trades being the last in so the current situation is worse than normal with getting em all to finish All starting to down tools on my site which frustrating as I could carry on safety Can see it getting closed down 😡 Notice you had a tin of next generation gloss with your kit ,how do you rate it , I stopped using it poor sheen went back to full gloss Cheers Dave
Looks like there going to sort a package out for us self employed so that's something,the site I'm on officially closes on ftiday but I've ran out of materials yesterday , so that's me done till to God knows when, plenty of work to do at home 😪, any how the next gen gloss you can really put the paint on thick with out it running do much but your right the sheen isn't that great I prefer dulux gloss it flows a lot better and it has a better sheen to it.
Crown trade centres have reopened up in my area today , collection only but you can get gear If you can get on the crown full white gloss great gear once you have got used to the colour before it dries Keep going 🙏👍

Im not happy with the little graco cordless sprayer that I got purely for doors its way to temperamental and about the same price as the qt190. I'd be very grateful for any advice. Thanks again
No it's cleaned out after I've used it the next day , unless your paint is full of crap or you leave after multiple uses without cleaning it , using one day then using it the very next day your manifold filter will be absolutely fine.

what happens if you let paint on the hose?
Mate its air tight you can drop the gun on the floor and just walk out .. or if its hot just drop the gun in a water bucket
