Yone's ultimate is easily dodgable with flash or other dash abilities, so you want to Q3 and immediately ult them so that they can't get out of it because his Q3 launches them in the air and stuns them for a moment.
One niche but important correction is that Yone does not dash while ulting, he blinks. This comes up more than you'd think because a lot of abilities that would hit him if his ult was a dash don't.
I just started playing Yone 3 days ago and I looked at your old guide which was top lane but I wanted a mid lane guide and here it is. Thank you so much for these videos I appreciate the effort you put it
This channel might single handedly be one the greatest resources for league of legends. Everytime a fucks me up I'm coming to your videos to understand them better.
Great guide! What I would add is taking kraken first item, since it adds A LOT of damage to your dps, allowing you to get more damage when you snap back with E. As a mythic I usually go evenshroud, since it's so cheap and so valuable, especially the passive which Yone can easily trigger with the third Q, but galeforce is great when you need to burst down your opponent as fast as possible. Against lane bullies you should ALWAYS take conqueror since it helps you out immensely, and to secondary runes you want to take revitalize to increase the shield from your w and shieldbow, and also the lifesteal you get. The second choice is up to you, either take shield bash for more damage, or conditioning if the enemy team has champions that can easily burst you down.
@@gorbi1437in case you don't know what conqueror does, which I doubt, but I'm gonna explain it anyway, it gives adaptive force, in yone's case, ad, extra ad which helps you deal more damage, not to mention that when you stack conqueror you basically gain like 8% lifesteal on top of the already given 30 or so bonus ad, which helps you sustain a lot better in fights. Conqueror is always good for all ins, while lethal tempo is more for slightly extended trades. Hope I helped, tell me if you'd like to know anything else
@@xeroone3890 it's still worth something, but next patch galeforce will be basically inexistent, but another great mythic choice is surprisingly evenshroud, it gives you some tankiness without taking away damage, since the 10% extra damage can easily be triggered by charging your q which has less than 1.5 seconds cd
@@raresdobrinean1583 yeah I agree. I dont understand why almost noone is thinking about this tho. But tbh the only viable mythics on yone are IE, Jaksho, Evenshroud and maybe Iceborn. And not a single one of these are really perfect for yone tbh
Kraken is also a great item, topside yone build which is the best for him is kraken into hull into ie, you can also try it mid as by 2 items you shoudl be side lane on yone but kraken bt is also nice, since GF nerfs its not that good on yone but the dash is nice PD is bad, havent tried SR
Adding on to my first comment, you don't wanna go galeforce right after boots. Rushing stormrazor against squishies who can kite you or kraken slayer against tankier opponents is a far better option. Your second item should be bloodthirster, and you can build galeforce (or other mythics, specifically jak'sho) afterwards. After the galeforce nerf, it's just not worth rushing it after boots, especially since stormrazor got an earlygame buff recently.
Great guide only thing id say is dont build gforce first item. Not that its bad but bork and kraken are both much better first items. Id build gforce 2nd or 3rd depending on the game
More than fair - I know on average it’s rushed after the kraken change but kraken is still great - I love bork and some people are incredible at using it but I personally never like delaying the 100% crit power spike!
hehe I disagree with Yone falling behind. While yes, if he has only 2 items while everyone has 4, he will struggle in sidelanes and by himself. But, in teamfights especially with his 100% crit chance, if Yone just hits one good empowered Q into R combo you literally solo win the game regardless of how behind you are. This champion has always been busted lolz.
Oh absolutely, if he has 2 items he's pretty much online, but before that (Basically before he has 100% crit) falling behind and delaying it is a struggle!

Crazy I've heard that Yone level 1-3 is really strong. And as ability exhaustion is really good as well

Why conquerer against lane bullies, could you explain?

True, but I wouldnt go Galeforce. It used to be good on yone but it got nerfed too much. If you want high dps go for Infinity Edge instead.

Sounds like a solid build!
If you play yone mid, you will most likely have a top laner who does the split pushing. So hull on yone mid isnt really an option
I think you should make a new guide since lethal tempo is gone it would be rly helpful 😊
Absolutely, need to get on it!

200 years of game design
The most 200 year champion in my opinion!

Build is no longer optimal. Kraken into IE is now the way to go, even as far as going for a Hullbreaker if it's a splitpushung game
Kraken into IE is very good into immobile teams - Galeforce still tends to be the easier to play default choice!
Are you okay? Your voice sounds sick 😢
Please don't push yourself ❤
Haha just a cold, I appreciate the concern though but already mostly better now!
Don’t need a yone guide. I need a yone mid guide
Can you make a warwick jungle guide? He seems to be extremely good there
Should be coming out very soon! :D
the real reason why i wanna main Yone: hes hot. really hot. hot shirtless guy with evil spirits
Love it 😂
When I am up against a Yone. I always stay on top of him and bully him as hard as possible. If he can't farm well his damage will be almost nothing
Super underrated method, makes it much harder for him to hit his Qs when you’re walking around his model!
Yone is pretty good at farming under tower tho
Pretty good guide, except for the build. Galeforce is bad on yone. It used to be good in 13.10 but it got nerfed too often
After another nerf to galeforce today I’m sure IE is going to be the build!
@@3MinuteLeagueofLegends yep, IE or a tank mythic. Something like Evenshroud for example is pretty good if you need more tankiness.

whats better mid or top lane yone
Both are solid but I reckon top lane with hullbreaker is more meta!
Great guide as always, but good luck building defensively against him. Hahaha!
You're not wrong, I guess just raw health xD
@@3MinuteLeagueofLegends I'll stack Swain and Sion like they never stacked before! Hahaha!
@@3MinuteLeagueofLegendsbotrk + yone w be like: Am I nothing to you?
the good thing is that yone use ultimate he sends them to airbone then yasuo uses ult and it deal very much damage
Yeah the windshi**er combo is strong!
How to get yone im new
If you’re looking to purchase him he should be in the league shop!
