Girl trust after those babies come out it's gonna be like a tidal wave going into total calmness it's crazy how most all the symptoms go away so quickly once they're out, hangin there
Pregnancy really is the worst! But soon you’ll have your babies in your arms. I’m a mom of four, and it was tough every single time. Pro tips: 1) when pushing, use your poop and peeing muscles. NOT YOUR ABS! I sing just keeping (sh*tting) 😂 to myself. Set to the toon of just keep swimming, from finding Nemo 2) when the babies come out there going to want to feed and use you as a pacifier. The longer they use you as a pacifier, the more you’re telling your body to make milk. Milk shows up a few days later, and OMG it is painful. Use lanolin on your nips, and have a pump on deck to release the pain. 3) have your MIL stay with y’all for a few weeks if you can. Having someone else let you and mr moon rest is crucial. 4) it’s ok to cry. It’s really hard and really rewarding.
Megan, I don’t know if you’ll see this post but if you do remember: you need to have non-Korean growth charts for your babies. You need to have American baby growth charts on you and constantly remind the docs that the babies aren’t just Korean. Also don’t stress if your kids don’t talk as fast as monolingual ones do. Bilingual kids are always a bit slower because they are soaking up two different languages an two different phonetic systems.
I wouldn't have mind watching a rant video, personally. You've always been such a positive influence all these years, it's a little bit of a rant wouldn't have harmed anyone. You're only human after all, a very pregnant one at that. Anyway, you've got this, Megan! You've got an 800k+ family rooting for you! ♥
Same! Even if it is incoherent because that’s how she felt and I can see how tired and feel how frustrated she must’ve felt through this whole process.
My friend's doctor did the same thing to her about her weight and it caused her baby to be under weight the first few months. She basically stopped listening to her doctor because expecting a pregnant woman to not gain any weight during their pregnancy is absurd. I cant wait to hear about your birth!
My Dr is doing the same thing, making me feel so bad about myself, said I shouldn't gain any weight & that I should be dieting & working out 7days a week. Also told me I'm not strong/fit enough to give birth. Every appointment she tells me something that "should be" wrong with me or my baby coz I'm overweight & every test I've proven her wrong but she just keeps going picking at me.
It's definitely not absurd, alot of women who are overweight at the start of their pregnancy have serious complications (yes, more than healthier weight women). Plenty of women dont gain weight or lose alot of weight during pregnancy (we had one client at my old obgyn office i worked for lose over 100 lbs in 9 months to have a safe delivery for her and her baby).
@@simone5200 test results mean nothing with blood work imo, people use that for a metric of health when its but a small part. You can still have healthy blood work and have a serious medical condition.
@@simone5200 you should consult with another doctor. Yes you should stay active and be healthy, but you shouldn’t be degraded by someone that is meant to be helping you. I never ran into this but I did have my doctor brush off all concerns as being “typical pregnancy things”. Turns out that it was not. And I was blamed for not letting them know that I felt so bad. Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself! You 100% deserve it, and deserve to be respected.
Girl, it’s time women actually rant about these things. We go through so much as women due to our reproductive systems. We honestly don’t even express 10% of the pain and suffering we go through. Thank you for sharing and we would have loved your rant video even if it was incoherent. We love you and the babies. God bless you and the babies and I hope you’ll have better health after giving birth.
But people won't even give a seat to a pregnant woman on a bus because "pregnancy isn't sickness" or as the men say "You wanted equality I give it to you". Women fought hards for having "equal rights" as human beings and in a couple of decades it was all turned around.
Same I had my daughter In Korea, there like your almost overweight. I’m like I only gained 25 pounds. So I told the doctor I’m not Korean here’s a chart for Americans. And she accepted my answer. Don’t ever forget to advocate for yourself. You are amazing, and twin pregnancy’s I’ve heard are not easy. You are amazing and wishing you a safe delivery.
A lot of the older women I've talked to agreed that while they love their kids, they hated pregnancy because of the toll that it took on them physically and mentally. I believe that you can get through this however I do wish that it was easier on your body. I hope you and your babies are okay and I'm sending you lots and lots of love and support 💗💗💗
I have 12 year old b/g twins and I hated being pregnant. I also did IVF to have my babies so I don't want to seem ungrateful, but pregnancy is not my thing.
Yeah my doctor actually told me not to complain and I don’t know- I was so depressed because if I said how I really felt I did not want to seem “ungrateful”? It was my one and done cuz it took a major toll on my mental health.
@@snowps1 You can totally hate being pregnant. This idea that you have to be grateful is some BS. A fetus is basically a parasite. Do I want to have kids, yes. Is it likely to happen, no, but making someone else feel bad about that isn’t going to change anything.
@@JessieBanana Honestly, most women that have fertility issues and then are able to have a baby are grateful. It's ok to complain and hate the process but, afterwards most of that disappears.
I finally got pregnant at 38 and had my son at 39. At first it was fun and great but my body started really changing and 2 years later it's still not healed. I also breastfed which changed my boobs and I developed cysts in his favorite breast. I love my baby boy but pregnancy was not it. Looking at my body now is not it. I feel like I'm trapped in someone else's body now.
Girl! Pregnancy is hard to the female body, ranting makes you personable. Life isn’t always roses. Stay as positive as best as you can. I love you, sending you support, love and light xoxo
I just saw the news, I hope you're recovering well, Megan! That doctor was way our of line with that diet thing. Hopefully the swelling will leave your legs now. I wish you a restful and healing time ♥
To be fair, that doctor is probably used to only having Asian patients, which, like she said, have vastly different bodies. Not just in terms of frame and weight, but in terms of how their bodies process certain foods, weight gain, etc. I imagine it's quite hard in a nearly homogenous society to treat a foreigner for such a serious situation as pregnancy. Also, to be fair, I'm American, had my baby here in Chicago. I was also super lean and fit when I got pregnant with my son, and despite only having one baby, I blew up at the end and started having blood pressure issues when I'd always had relatively low BP, just like Megan. I, too, was told I was showing signs of basically pre- pre-eclampsia. I was monitored greatly, told to watch my diet despite not gaining much outside of baby and water weight. I also was told at 38.5 weeks that the symptoms were getting worse and we were probably good to induce in order to protect me and the babies. I went in on a Thursday to see if they'd induce me on Monday and my doctor said, "We should induce you now. Drive around to the ER and tell them you're here for Labor & Delivery and I'll meet you there. I got up, they hooked me up, my heart rate was great, my son's was as well. After the nurses did many a thing to me over the hour or so, I started to feel contractions. When she returned I asked when she induced me because I hadn't realized they had. She informed me they had not yet as they were waiting on the doc. I explained about contractions, she checked me and said, "Oh yeah, this baby has decided to come on his own. You're in labor." They were about to put a catheter in me and I asked to pee once more on my own so I got up, peed, came back, they hooked me up and this time they couldn't find my son's heartbeat. They could only find a heartbeat around 80bpm (which would be mine, as a babies is much higher). I was rushed for an emergency c-section, freaking out the whole way. They rushed me in, cut me open, and it turns out when I went to pee my son shifted around and wrapped the corn around his shoulder and chest, slowing his heart rate to approx 80 bpm. We were super lucky as he was born without any issues but my god is that terrifying. I'm so glad to see she had her amazing babies and I'm praying for all of them. It couldn't happen to a better couple.
Tbh at first I was like is that doctor freaking crazy???? I'm pretty sure that she was completely fine. Then I started thinking and I'm like well still it's probably waaay different when anyone has twins. I only had one baby so when I got pregnant things were waaay easier for me. The baby however was big and I guess the doctors didn't know that...I mean for a 5 ft tall woman being as short and as skinny as I was they probably should have induced me earlier because our baby ended up weighing a good 9lbs when he was born. I had to have a c-section in the end because well induction is not the easiest thing. I hope that she got to have her babies how she wanted to deliver them because I wanted to deliver my babies the normal way as well but you know when these things happen I guess you really have no choice if you want to survive and you want your baby coming out well. My baby also had low blood sugar and had to be treated for it for a few days after being born. I hope that she'll be able to get her rest in because she's gonna need it for sure.
I'm half Asian half islander and my doctor in CA got concerned about my weight too since I blew up (gained 50 lbs.) like a balloon. I had a preemie and no signs of preeclampsia or anything which confused everyone including me lol. My mom gained 100 lbs each pregnancy (there's 3 of us).
I hope that you're able to give yourself a maternity leave, because your channel + social media _is_ a job, and twins are next level. Everybody in their right mind will: 1) understand 2) still be here whenever you get back Congrats and Happy early birthday to the littlest Astronauts 🌙👩🏽🚀🧑🏽🚀
It’s so frustrating that so many people don’t want others talking negatively about this topic. Pregnancy is by no means easy, like you’re literally growing human beings inside you. Your feelings are completely valid because this is your experience, and no one is entitled to telling you how to feel. I’m so proud of how far you’ve come Megan, and I know you’ll be a great mother. Best wishes for you and your family. ❤️
Rooting for a safe pregnancy for you Megan! And f that doctor for making you feel bad about your weight. Weight recommendations are arbitrary especially when you're in a country that has a different reference point of what's "healthy". You're doing so great. Post Partum is its own kind of stress too so I wish you nothing but ease, rest, and grace towards yourself
I mean I won’t say F the doctor when he is saying ur gaining to much weight, during my pregnancy I was also gaining to much weight and it is hard to control but woman can become diabetic during pregnancy much easier than if their were not,so yes it hard but just try ur best to eat healthy but still get ur little cravings on
@@immealldayeveryday9425 Well the thing is she was already being careful to eat no sugar, little carbs, no processed stuff, she was doing really well. So, yeah honestly its not necessarily F the doctor, but the doctor didnt do a good enough job of researching other ethnicities body types and pregnancy recommendations before making Megan cry and stress while pregnant. It's a largely homogenous country but they are still medical professionals.
@@MrsMeganMoon I wouldn't have listened to the doctor concerning your weight. Should of posted on IG about it. I have hypoglycemia during this pregnancy. I have lost weight, because of it but i am 180 at 5 foot 1 and don't look it at all. I also have a set of twins. My doctors pushed me to gain weight add protein because the first 3 months I lost 40 lbs because my morning sickness. I managed to gain it back by the end of pregnancy.
Hey Megan, I can relate to your experience with the doctor so I felt compelled to share especially because I felt so angry on your behalf. I am an African woman based in Switzerland. When I was pregnant with my first child I had a doctor who over focused on weight gain. I am 172cm and at the time at 5 months pregnant I weighed in at 74kg. I was 71kg pre pregnancy but she felt like my BMI was too high was insistent I shouldn’t gain any weight. I was super stressed and would even skip meals for fear of weight gain yet I had only gained 3kgs. Eventually I broke down and spoke to my Dad who being a doctor in my home country insisted we change doctors. He felt she wasn’t taking other important factors into consideration and that her over focus on weight would cause more harm than good in the long run. We were lucky to switch to a different doc who felt that that approach was not ok. He felt that as long my blood sugar was ok and the baby measured consistently with expected growth estimates and also took into consideration that we were both tall ( my husband and I) that everything was ok and any concerns would be monitored as we progressed. I was much happier and at the end I only gained 7kg the whole pregnancy by proceeding with my usual lifestyle as I done before. I have always admired your approach and discipline with both your diet and fitness. Even during pregnancy your habits were healthier than most people . I’m so sorry that you were made to feel so stressed out by a doctor who failed to take all external factors like genetics, body build/frame and ethnicity which can sometimes affect outcomes for different people. Wishing you and your twins a quick recovery from the birth and that you and your beautiful little family is reunited soon so that you can enjoy their arrival. Congratulations to you and Mr Moon. I’m so happy for you and rooting for y’all🎉 🎈♥️
Thanks for sharing. And wow your doctor seemed more absurd than mine. Only gaining 3kg and they complained. That’s insane. Glad you weee able to switch doctors ok
I’m not a mom but I wish more mamas would voice their discomfort during pregnancy. Yes a new life is coming into the world and that’s amazing but the process is a lot on the body. There should be a safe space for mamas!!
As someone who works in medicine, I don’t think I have ever heard of a doctor stating you are not to gain any weight, with twins no less, in the second and third trimesters. Especially when you are working with a patient with your super high level of pre-pregnancy fitness and your continuing fitness throughout your entire pregnancy. You are an absolute force to have been able to achieve that. Good luck tomorrow, induction can be scary (it’s been 23 years since I was induced and it’s still burned into my brain!) but like most people say, it’s totally worth it. You guys will both do great, I’m sure of it 💙❤️🇦🇺🙂🤱🏻
I was coming here to say this!! In the states it is expected that a twin pregnancy requires more calories and protein. And Megan wasn’t overweight. I don’t like that she was advised to restrict food.
My mom was overweight and she was advised to keep her weight and even drop some if possible through the pregnancy. But Megan is of course nothing near that what my mom’s weight was. Unreasonable…
That was extremely strange advice…. What nutrients the baby doesn’t get through food, they will take from mother’s body making things extremely unhealthy for mom.
My first pregnancy I was in Korea and the doctor put me on KETO diet because I'm not the normal Korean thin frame. I'm Puerto Rican and curvey, but to Koreans I'm probably super overweight, so I was put on diet of literally meat and cheese. At 20 weeks I ended up going back to the states to have my baby and prenatal care there.... I dont think they know how to deal with other women body that aren't Korean
idk but I’ve heard a lot that asian women and people in general are genetically pre-disposed to certain diseases if they weigh a bit more than what is considered “healthy”. Maybe because the population is so homogeneous they haven’t learned that shouldn’t apply to everyone and personally I feel like u should check if the weight is predominantly from muscle or fat cause I feel like since she was a body builder it would make sense that she keep a lot of muscle weight and then u have fluid retention, twins weight, and body fat gained on top of that? sorry if that didnt make sense lolll I’m just typing my thoughts. basically just giving this doctor the benefit of the doubt
Megan you’re doing amazing. I’m so proud of you. I cannot believe a doctor told you while pregnant to cut your diet 70%, that’s insane. Your body needs the fuel to keep those perfect babies happy. I’m so excited for your babies to arrive. Praying for a swift uncomplicated birth for you. Healthy happy babies and a quick recovery. Also praying for mister moon because… he’s gonna need it. Be blessed and stay well. ❤️
Thank you for being real about pregnancy, I've seen women being hushed whenever they start complaining and I don't get it pregnancy is a very difficult and traumatic thing to go through no matter how amazing the results were, and I like what you said about it not meaning you don't love your babies I wish you and Mr. Moon the best of luck with the delivery and really hope you get easy quite babies 🥰
"I just birthed 2 humans from my vagina" -dead- the humor you have in all of this, I can't wait to see updates on the new additions to the Moon family!! I hope you and the babies stay healthy after birth and can go home soon!!
As a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 4, I’d like to say, you’ve got this! I think you thought you might appear ungrateful, if you voiced any complaints about the process. There has to be some pain, stress and discomfort. You’re human and growing 2 people inside you!! I told my daughters that childbirth is the only pain that you’re rewarded with a human being! No cute band aid, candy, chocolate, sticker or trophy, can help you forget the pain! Only, finally seeing your baby can do that. You prayed for them, were blessed with 2 of them, carried them, ate well for them, starved for them, exercised for them, laughed for them and cried for them. Welcome them, knowing you did everything within your power to get them here safely. When they see you, they will know that they are loved and blessed!
"It doesn't mean you have to enjoy pregnancy". Exactly! Just because you went the IVF route doesn't negate or invalidate your pregnancy woes! You're pregnant. It's not easy! I really feel for you. But, hey- by this time tomorrow, you won't be pregnant no mo'! You're almost at the finish line, girl! God Bless! 🥰❤️🤩
When my mom was pregnant with me. The doctor started yelling at my mom for gaining weight. The hospital wouldn’t believe my mom when she said that she hadn’t been eating unhealthy. It just seems like it is something that happens when you are pregnant. I mean, I turned out just fine. Btw I just saw that you got your babies! Congrats Megan!!!
Bloodclot to the lung is what killed my father, so when you said the doctors thought you might have one, that sent a bolt of fear right down my spine. So glad you're okay, and congrats on the babies!!
Megan I’m 7 months pregnant with a single baby and I’m hardcore struggling, you’re AMAZING for doing double duty! It will be worth it in the end, wishing you a healthy labor and babies! ❤ You got this! 💪🙏
My best friend had her first baby about three years ago and the pregnancy was so hard for her. I asked every single day how she is doing, because I was so worried. I admire how you open up for your viewers here, because it can teach compassion and it's also educating for us. I send you my best wishes and thank you Megan
The fact that this has strengthened your bond with Mr. Moon is invaluable. That teamwork will help you through all the stresses of life. Congratulations!
2 days before my scheduled c section, I got the worst headache of my life. Tylenol didn't touch it so I ended up in the er. Had a CT because they were worried I had an aneurysm since all of my blood pressures had been normal. I FINALLY went to labor and delivery after like 4 hours in the er and my ob came in and said "we're taking this baby tomorrow morning". It was terrifying! The second my son was out, the headache was gone. Turns out, I had pre-eclampsia. Fun. And then my gallbladder went kaput in August when my son was 2 months old. They don't tell you that your gallbladder can start having problems as the result of having kids. Got that out a week ago today. 🙃🙃
You can also lose your teeth... which I didn't know... Our parents made it seems like having kids was a walk in the park and never talked about this stuff. Thank goodness women are speaking up.
No one ever tell the real truth about pregnancy does to your body. And there are studies which shows being pregnant with a boy takes a harder toll on your body.
Thank you for your transparency, it’s one of the many reasons why I’ve been following you for all these years. You are so close to having your little ones in your arms and we are all so excited for you and your husband!! Sending you all the positivity thoughts!
This is my first pregnancy and ngl, I hate it. I can’t wait for my baby to come but I hate being pregnant!! I was puking since week 4 and got diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarium week 7. I’m 16 weeks and still puking but a lot less. I’m glad you’re in a better head space and thank you for being so real in this video! Best of luck with the delivery!!
Has your OBGYN recommended Ondansetron (Zofran ODT)? That could help with the nausea. I took it while pregnant, but i waited until after 15 weeks to make sure it was safe to use. Maybe talk to your doctor about it and see if they can prescribe it. Another thing i was given was an over the counter sleeping pill it's called Unisom that worked just as well as the prescribed medication but definitely talk to your OB about it. I wish you the best of luck in your pregnancy!
I ended up in the ER because my morning sickness was so bad I was dehydrated they gave me zofran for like 5 days I was around the 16 week mark too after that I haven't had any problems and at 32 weeks I feel great other than the swelling
I'm extremely terrified because i have been pregnant before but only 10 weeks. I was throwing up 10x a day and I wanted to die. I want to have children in the future, but I don't want to die.
I had this EXACT thing happen right after giving birth to my daughter. There was no preeclampsia, no blood clot, nothing, just extreme swelling. So scary. So painful. I thought it would never go away. What helped me remove the water weight was dandelion tea. It’s also great for lactation! Within 2 weeks it was gone. Sending you all the vibes 💕You WILL feel and look like yourself again promise!
I really appreciate that you were honest about some of the difficult aspects too. I'm sure many people feel alone in those hard moments and videos like this help anyone struggling with pregnancy realise it's not just them. And you definitely should feel like you can talk about it if you want to. Pregnancy doesn't have to be only positive for you to still be happy about your pregnancy and babies
My sister just had twins and her legs/feet did the same thing. I can't imagine how painful and uncomfortable it must be. Your almost there girl. You got this. 💪
My mom had the exact same experience when she had my sister and I, we watched this video together and she wants to let you know that it's all going to be very okay at the end!! now 23 years later, all 3 my twin sister, I and our mom are as healthy as ever ❤ hang on there
You have literally been a warrior through this WHOLE journey pre pregnancy included and I’m so happy for you to have your dream fulfilled! I wish you, the twins and mr moon the utmost health and happiness, take your time coming back we’ll patiently wait❤️ love you to the *moon* and back (pun intended)
I had twins via emergency C-section (carried full term), but was bedridden for the last trimester. During my pregnancy I developed various discomforts and problems including light bleeding, sciatica, extreme nausea, swelling, gassy, etc. Delivered 2 healthy babies and was so happy. I would go through everything again because the result was pure love! Good luck to you!
I think I was told to stay in bed, but I didn't do that. Went with my Mom to get a fish sandwich before my doctor appointment, pressure was 200/100(or higher, don't really remember), had to have an emergency C-section...I threatened to walk out when I saw the epidural needle... Carried my twins to 35 weeks, they were 4 and 5 lbs. They gave me chin hair and hemmoroids, my daughter kicked me in my cookies from the inside and was swinging from my ribs, she wouldn't sit still. My son laid back and chilled but kicked the shit out of me every so often...sigh...I love those people, however, I vowed to never do it again! They're 15 now. I wish to you Megan and Mr. Moon what happened with me, they took turns sleeping, eating and pooping✊🏾 God loves me! 🥰🥰🥰 Have the best 1st month with your new humans!
happy birthday to the little moons (assuming you’ve been induced and they’ve arrived) you did so well during your pregnancy! a lot of pregnant woman don’t exercise but the fact that you did AND was still put on a diet is amazing. you are amazing! super powered mama! congratulations to you!! 🤍🤍
I’m so glad you’ve made this video. Everyone seems to glorify and glamorize pregnancy. And while it’s great that you’re bringing life onto this earth, it sucks as the same time. Currently pregnant with my first and what I did not prepare for is how much my mental health would fall. And I cannot help it. It doesn’t mean I don’t love my baby. I truly do however it’s hard. All of the changes are so so very hard and no one prepares you for that. Thank you for being so honest and vulnerable with us. We definitely appreciate you Megan. We love you. 💕🤰🏼
ASIA ES CIERTO EL EMBARAZO NO TODO ES MARAVILLOSO YO SUFRÍA DE TOXOPLASMOSIS Y ME DIERON MUCHAS PASTILLAS MI EMBARAZO LO PASE PENSANDO EL BEBE DIOS VENDRA BIEN??? PORQUE O ERA LA TOXOPLASMOSIS O ERAN LAS CANTIDADES DE PASTILLAS PERO GRACIAS A MI DIOS TODO PERFECTO
Pregnancy isnt pretty. You are pretty and you make it look pretty, but it isnt ahah. I can only imagine how hard it is, specially at the last stage... Getting this far is very emotionally drainning, and I think you rock and are gonna be a great mom! Best of luck and sending positive and healing vibes 😘
I’m sorry you have been so miserable. I can definitely relate! I love my son and can’t wait to meet him but didn’t enjoy pregnancy at all. I have 3 weeks left and honestly it can’t be fast enough. I’ve had different issues than yours and even if it was all worth it I still didn’t like having to go through them. But you did it girl! Only a few more hours until you get to meet your babies!!! Wishing you easy delivery and I can’t wait to see them! ❤
My heart goes out to you. Pregnancy is so hard, I can't even imagine what carrying twins is like. I think your doctor was very wrong about the weight restrictions. The babies are gaining weight during the 3rd trimester. Sending you and Mr Moon love and best wishes for an easy delivery and healthy babies.
I'm 34 weeks with one baby and I feel this so hard. I get painfully winded laying down, the swelling (sloshing ☹️), my abdomen skin hurts like I'm going to rip apart. 😩. Hang in there to the both of us. ❤️🌸❤️🌸
You’re a black woman, you can’t listen to their standards. Our bodies are different and you’re not obese or overweight. Anyway!- Congratulations 🥳😊🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think we all appreciate the honesty you are sharing, however I don’t think you should feel guilty or sorry for not letting us know because it is your personal business and if you don’t want to share that’s your choice. And complain all you want get it out and I hope your a well and healthy labor and birth.
Don’t feel bad for ranting. You deserve to feel the way you feel. Never think that you have to love every second of pregnancy to be a good mother. It’s okay to absolutely hate pregnancy. Doesn’t make you a bad mother. Doesn’t mean you don’t deserve your babies. Doesn’t mean you don’t love them more than anything. It’s okay to struggle. I saw your post that the babies are here. I hope their blood sugar levels come to normal and that you can be with them soon! Wishing you fast healing and health to all of you💜💙
I going crazy can't wait see Mr and Mrs. Moon babies. Who will they look like the most and all the names. There going be a whole serie of new post of getting back in shape, grandparents visiting. I soo excited.
Wow....I can't believe a doctor told you to gain zero weight with TWINS. What the heck?? And then you actually went and maintained your weight!? Like holy h3ll, there are no babies in me and I can't stay the same weight for the life of me 💀 Megan, istg you have a different kind of strength and discipline. You're such a trooper 👏👏👏 I hope your delivery goes smoothly and that both babies arrive healthy. Wishing you a speedy recovery as well 💜
@@marishkaspirit she told her not to gain weight for 2 months which is not realistic esp w/ twins. she was already working out, and had a healthy bmi, all healthy test results. she didn’t gain dangerous weight her doctor isn’t equipped/used to a woman w/ an american body type.
I’m so happy that you have been able to carry your twins to term Megan. My younger brothers are twins and my step mom is about 5’3 and she was also pretty fit but because of her frame she couldn’t carry them all the way and had them early. On the opposite side my mom had me about 2 weeks late and the doctors had to go up in there and get me because I was too comfortable, there also got worried that I was a not alive since I didn’t move much or at all unlike my older sister who was really active. Hope you enjoy the newborn stage, I love that stage with babies because after that it just gets wilder!!!
Love how it's all so different lol. My girl is now 6 months. And I had her almost 2 weeks after n had to induce coz she wasn't in any hurry to come out lol. With pregnancy if you were fit n healthy before it's almost sure to be a breeze during n after as well. Unless for circumstances that one can't help like height n pre pregnancy serious conditions
Thank you for showing the negatives and hardships of pregnancy because everyone thinks its sunshine and rainbows or just slight inconveniences. Pregnancy and having a child are decisions not to be taken as lightly as it seems most people see it. There can be many complications, some you explained, that can cost you your life, so its a pretty serious undertaking!!
I honestly hated my pregnancies and couldn't imagine carrying twins. You're a Rockstar! I wasn't the glowing goddess I looked and felt miserable no cute baby bumps and very few pics of me pregnancies were allowed. That doesn't mean I love my kiddos any less. Sending you healing love and light💞 and a safe & healthy and happy labor and delivery.
I've been through it now 6 times, I am pregnant with my 6th technically 7th. No one who has ever been pregnant is thinking you are wrong for complaining, only non pregnant people would say that. We all know how it is, especially toward the end. Congrats hon!!
I had my twin girls 23 years ago, I already had 2 chidren age 4 and 2 at the time. I was just as swollen in my pregnancy with the twins as you are. And I was sooo much more uncomfortable, compared to my single pregnancies. I totally get what you're going through. As you know babies are a true blessing and I know you and Mr Moon are going to make great parents. I'm praying you have a trouble free delivery and i'm really looking forward to following your life journey with your new babies ❤ ❤ ❤
Megan, girl, we LOVE you. So many of us have been following you for years, and your content is nearly ALWAYS super positive and fun. You deserve to rant and be real when shit sucks! So glad you’re done with the pain of pregnancy and have your little babies here now ❤️ I’m so, SO happy for you.
We appreciate your transparency. I'm praying for a successful delivery, please come back safe together with the twins. Love you so much Meg, congratulations in advance mama!
I'm so glad you are coming through this pregnancy journey, I had severe preeclampsia and had to have an emergency cesarean at 7 months. I totally get where you are coming from.. From what I can see you have done an excellent job with staying healthy and I wish nothing but the best for you and your family!!
I was so physically uncomfortable when I was pregnant. I remember waddling and I gave birth in a different country too. July in Southern France with no a/c. LOL BEING PREGNANT IS THE WORST. You don't realize how long 9 months is until you're IN IT. Also waiting at the end is the worst! It will all be worth it when the Baby Moons are here
I wish you and your babies a safe delivery!! I also had super swelling during my pregnancies. Just to give you a warning: YOU WILL SWEAT IT OUT!! So whenever you take a nap/sleep, you’ll sweat so much that the sheets will be SOAKED. A nurse in the hospital told me this after I delivered and I didn’t believe her. She was right though!! I wish you and your family well!! I hope you have a quick recovery and smooth transition to life with babies!
Oof Megan, you’ve been through it… I was watching like “damn that swelling cannot be fun”, “noo omg having to watch your weight is so stress-inducing” then I was like “covid as wellll??” Lol you’ve done so well to get through it all, hope everything with the birth goes smoothly (or as smoothly as it can go!), as a long-term viewer I’m so proud!!! 💜
Thank you for talking about pregnancy hardships Megan! So important to break this taboo so that pregnant people feel less alone while facing the difficult part of pregnancy!
Hey Megan it’s so good that you give an honest opinion about you’re pregnancy bc society is really creating a fake fantasy around it which puts many women under pressure....I hope you and mister moon are doing well in the hospital and everything goes smoothly with the delivery...wish you lots of strength ❤️
Whew girl! I had twin boys in January of 2020 and that pregnancy and post partum period was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. That hip, back, and round ligament pain is no joke, and that swelling will take a couple weeks to go down. You have to flush it out with more water. Which seems counter intuitive, but that's what worked for me. I didn't even make it full term. My water broke at 26 weeks and we were able to postpone the c section until 27 weeks. Both babies survived and had to stay in the NICU for another 3 months. My husband and I struggled through that mentally and emotionally but we all made it through and the babies finally came home. One was still on oxygen but he came off that after another 6 weeks. I don't know if you are planning to breastfeed, but I want to tell you it is hard! Like mad hard! Like stupid hard! Not to deter you, but to remind you to have patience with yourself. Some people think just because it is natural it will be easy, but girl you have to commit and work at it like a job, and the work starts when you are the most exhausted. You are learning how, they are learning how. You are worried they are not getting enough. The lactation people tell you a full feeding is 10 mins, but they fall asleep after 2 mins. Lol just a struggle. I ended up pumping then bottle feeding the twins because they didnt want to see each other while they ate. Eye contact with the other baby made both start to cry and they wouldn't stay on. Crazy! I could have done one at a time, but I couldn't commit the time needed while also handling the everyday household chores. All this to say go easy on yourself. There's no shame in using the formula and asking for help. That's one of the biggest lessons I've learned as a mom. I am so invested in the wellbeing of my kids and want the best for them so I make plans and have ideas of how things are going to go. But sometimes I have to let go of what I want and do what I can. Then learn how to feel satisfied and happy with the result. Even now. They have a homemade dinner of organic grass fed steak with buttered broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side, but they have eaten maybe 2 bites of that and are trying to tear into a pack of Graham crackers.
You let out that GAS you are growing humans. I love that you do not mind being a regular human, everyone should just be their authentic self. Your future is going to be so blessed xx
You can do this Megan!! You’ve made it this far and have done an amazing job!! Just imagine, you’ll have two gorgeous babies at the end of it!! Stay strong!! ❤️
I'm so happy you posted this! I'm also pregnant (just 1 baby) and I would find myself comparing with you saying how I can barely handle one baby while you were working out, thriving, and living your best life! Thanks for sharing the hard times as well. You are such a strong, positive mama! Sending prayers your way!
You're such a strong Mama already Megan!!! Wishing you the safest time for the remainder of your pregnancy - the twins are already so blessed to have you ❤
Megan do not worry about gaining weight! We ALL know you will work out to get it back. I gained 47 lbs my first pregnancy. I weighed 110 when I got pregnant and 157 before birth ... The baby was 8.6 lbs + placenta 5lbs + water (guessing here 5 lbs) + booby milk can add another 5-10 lbs depending on how much milk you get. In all reality it's healthy to gain as long as it's not excessive and you're having twins girl!!! My second pregnancy I gained 35 lbs and had. 7.1 lb baby ... So you are FINE!!
Be so careful! Excessive swelling, especially brought on super fast can be preeclampsia or full blown eclampsia, you can also get eclampsia postpartum too! Just please please please don't let them dismiss any symptoms or ANYTHING, especially postpartum. You've got this mama moon! You're a whole Goddess and you and your babies are gonna be healthy and happy and safe❤
I’m 35 weeks today with only one baby and I’m in soooo much pain! My abs tore and I have abdominal wall nerve pain on the top of my stomach where it pulls because of my heavy belly. I’m in soo much pain and I feel bad complaining about it and not being able to do anything kills me too!! I’m praying for a healthy delivery of your babies! Sending all the positivity to you mama! Thank you for this video. ❤️
@.@ is your OB doing anything to help with your pain and damage or are you sol until you give birth???? I hope your baby and you stay safe and that you have a safe labor
I am so sorry you had that experience with your doctor in Korea. It’s 100% true that Asian Korean bodies are different than you. The pregnancy and baby weight size statistics are all from Korean sources from Korean babies and bodies. A good doctor should have been able to understand where those statistics are coming from and do their extra due diligence and study for your body, that what a good OBGYN would do and I’m so sorry that you didn’t have a good experience w a Korean doctor especially when you were super stressed about this twin pregnancy 💕 and hopefully in the future you are treated with more respect and more knowledgeable doctors. Much love from Canada and congratulations 🎉💕
Megan, just want to say that you’re doing so good with your pregnancy. My daughter just had twin girls and she told me how miserable she was carrying them. Don’t feel bad saying your miserable. Pregnancy is different for everyone. I wish you and Mr Moon a safe and happy delivery of your little ones! ✌🏻💕Take good care of yourself girl!
I could tell your pregnancy was stressing you out and I'm so happy you'll finally be able to meet your babies today. Wishing you the best of luck today!!! And thank goodness you had no symptoms with covid! You got this!!!!!
I'm happy you shared this part of the pregnancy with us. Too some being pregnant is like a fairytale thing but knowing there are bad times too is such a good wake up call. My mom had twins when I was 10 and I can attest to how difficult it can be especially with two. I can't wait for you to have those sweet babies in your arms. Congrats again! You two are going to be great parents!
Megan you are so sweet for filming this video even though you don’t feel great!! Please make sure to take care of yourself first!! If that means that we have to wait a good while for your new content then don’t worry about it l!! I’m sure I speak for all your fans when I say, “Prioritize yourself!!!” We love you and we wish you luck with the babies!!!
Aww megan 😢 it's hard to see the reality of pregnancy through social media that we lose sight of the hardships of pregnancy. Especially in having multiples. Every pregnancy is different. I didn't have swelling until after a week of my delivery. Not everything is picture perfect. Stay strong! This is only temporary for a return of a life long and everlasting time you will have with your husband, family, and kids. It's truly amazing what our bodies go through during pregnancy and labor and delivery. This will be over soon enough. Lots of love from Texas!
Congratulations Megan!! Little bit upset at your Doctor because she really had you at out here doing the most during your pregnancy!! Girl you are very strong!!
Megan, although we are strangers, am so proud of you! Thank you for sharing your struggles through this time. Even though I’m not a doctor, I don’t think it was right of that doctor to say that to you. She should’ve accounted for your different body type while diagnosing your medical needs. You are extremely fit, especially for a twin pregnancy! You have looked amazing through this whole time and I hope that soon you feel amazing again. Good luck and we’ll wishes to you, your family and your new precious babies ❤️
Thank you for this. You're honestly doing a great job. I had 2 singleton pregnancies and, while they were textbook perfect according to doctors, I HATED being pregnant. Yeah, it's amazing and all how female bodies can grow tiny humans, but it can suck so so so much. Good luck in your birth and recovery. And, while it's gonna be hard for the first few months, you'll be okay.
What a relief seeing another mom out there venting off how miserable the last few weeks of pregnancy really is. I hope you had a safe delivery and everyone is healthy
The diet was a bad move and the doctor was out of line for that. You had muscle mass that you maintained and that wasn't taken into account. I'm sorry that happened to you. The water weight sometimes happens. I was my mom's first baby and she gained 40lb of water weight. People thought she was having twins she was so big. With my 2 sisters she didn't even gain water weight. I hope your induction goes well Megan. Can't wait to see those babies.
I’m literally in tears right now. 😭 I’ll be sharing the same birthday with your two little angels! 👼 I feel you Megan. Swelling is the worst, but it’ll get better.💚 It’s ok to be human. This pregnancy series has not only taught me a lot, motivated and inspired me, but also made my days.☺️ I love your boldness and your sense of humor. You emanate this warm energy and give off this cozy vibe that’s so welcoming and heartwarming. Wishing you a safe and smooth delivery.🎀 Sending you my love all the way from Greece! 💙
Megan Fighting!! Most mom know what you going through, I remember crying because I feel helpless & hopeless because i cant do a simple thing that i used to do by myself, almost got myself to postpartum depression, luckily with solid support from hubby & family I finally manage to pull out myself from the swing mood. You almost there! Hope for a smooth sailing for your labour and you & twins are safe & healthy! again, Megan Fighting!!

Stay strong .... I too I'm on that journey....watching your vids has kept me calm the entire time.
My family and I am praying for you!!
Girl trust after those babies come out it's gonna be like a tidal wave going into total calmness it's crazy how most all the symptoms go away so quickly once they're out, hangin there
We love and support you. I hope everything goes well 😊🥰
Pregnancy really is the worst! But soon you’ll have your babies in your arms. I’m a mom of four, and it was tough every single time.
Pro tips:
1) when pushing, use your poop and peeing muscles. NOT YOUR ABS! I sing just keeping (sh*tting) 😂 to myself. Set to the toon of just keep swimming, from finding Nemo
2) when the babies come out there going to want to feed and use you as a pacifier.
The babies are born! Whoop!!! I’ll update you guys on Instagram soon. I need to sleep now
Congrats Megan!!!!
Congratulations!!! 🎉 Have a speedy recovery!
Congratulations Momma 🎊
Congratulations!!
😂😅😅😂😂
Megan, I don’t know if you’ll see this post but if you do remember: you need to have non-Korean growth charts for your babies. You need to have American baby growth charts on you and constantly remind the docs that the babies aren’t just Korean.
Also don’t stress if your kids don’t talk as fast as monolingual ones do. Bilingual kids are always a bit slower because they are soaking up two different languages an two different phonetic systems.
Yes! Agreed! Thank you for writing this.
100% agree. I hope Megan sees your comment. So important!
THIS RIGHT HERE!

I have a video on my channel about it~
Same! Even if it is incoherent because that’s how she felt and I can see how tired and feel how frustrated she must’ve felt through this whole process.
Yea you do Megan!! Thanks for letting her know !
We’re here for you. Megan!
That's right we're all rooting for you!!! Let it out!!
@@princessmoo4891 are you a mom?
Yes advocate for yourself megan
Yes
What kind of chart did you give the doc? Was it like a chart of normal weights for US women?
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
@@SmileyFace123Lolz For sure she need to look up western weight gain for her size. Also, it looks like mostly fluid.
I know you’re miserable but you’re almost there!! You can do this!
Thanks so much~~~~ I’m at the hospital now hehe~~
@@MrsMeganMoon oooh, sending you positive vibes for a safe and speedy delivery!! 🥰🥰🥰

You're in labor."
They were about to put a catheter in me and I asked to pee once more on my own so I got up, peed, came back, they hooked me up and this time they couldn't find my son's heartbeat.
That’s so terrifying! I’m glad you had a happy ending!
Uh no. Her legs swelled a LOT even though she WAS taking care of her weight. Imagine if she hadn't done that.
I hope that you're able to give yourself a maternity leave, because your channel + social media _is_ a job, and twins are next level.
Everybody in their right mind will: 1) understand 2) still be here whenever you get back
Congrats and Happy early birthday to the littlest Astronauts
🌙👩🏽🚀🧑🏽🚀
Yup, absolutely!! I hope she will be kind to herself during this adjustment, it's not easy to have one baby, let alone two!! 👏👏👏💯
Right and I hope she do too🌹🥰
100% agreed!!! Do not let this channel make you feel anxiety or pressure! Do not let it take your mind off of your amazing twins!! ❤️🥰
I agree!
We can do a few nosgalgia months, then. Watch old videos, keep the view time up.
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you for being real about pregnancy, I've seen women being hushed whenever they start complaining and I don't get it
pregnancy is a very difficult and traumatic thing to go through no matter how amazing the results were, and I like what you said about it not meaning you don't love your babies
I wish you and Mr. Moon the best of luck with the delivery and really hope you get easy quite babies 🥰
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"I just birthed 2 humans from my vagina" -dead- the humor you have in all of this, I can't wait to see updates on the new additions to the Moon family!! I hope you and the babies stay healthy after birth and can go home soon!!
"Thank god Mr. Moon is a hefty man" 😂
I love that even when you're going through a rough time your sense of humour remains!
God Bless! 🥰❤️🤩
Twin pregnancies get brutal past 30 weeks. Hang in there! They're almost done cooking!
Man, just got to watch this and wow, what a hard and long road! So proud of you and super happy for you both on this new beginning!
Omg this is so random AHAHA I didn’t know u watch her too!! I love you and her content !
Wow was not expecting u here lol
The collab we didn’t know existed😭😭😭
😱
@@NovaDoll omg why?? Sounds terrifying as hell
I also had to have my gallbladder out too 18 days after i delivered my second daughter. I wish more people would talk about that
Thank you for your transparency, it’s one of the many reasons why I’ve been following you for all these years.
I heard HG is really tough. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well.
Omg same with the puking.
Talking it out is so important
I really appreciate that you were honest about some of the difficult aspects too. I'm sure many people feel alone in those hard moments and videos like this help anyone struggling with pregnancy realise it's not just them. And you definitely should feel like you can talk about it if you want to. Pregnancy doesn't have to be only positive for you to still be happy about your pregnancy and babies
My sister just had twins and her legs/feet did the same thing. I can't imagine how painful and uncomfortable it must be. Your almost there girl. You got this. 💪
Bunch of blessings for you Queen! You have done such an amazing job with the pregnancy! I feel so happy that your beautiful family is growing! 🥰🤗
😍😍😍😍
My mom had the exact same experience when she had my sister and I, we watched this video together and she wants to let you know that it's all going to be very okay at the end!! now 23 years later, all 3 my twin sister, I and our mom are as healthy as ever ❤ hang on there
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Oh wow...thank God everything was ok...but what an ordeal you went through
I think I was told to stay in bed, but I didn't do that.
They are here~~~~ babies are born!!
@@MrsMeganMoon awww congrats,
Hope you’re all well!🥰
@@MrsMeganMoon CONGRATULATIONS!!! BABY MOONS 🤍🤍
@@MrsMeganMoon Congratulations!!
@@MrsMeganMoon Yay! Big Congrats!
I'm so happy to be seeing this after seeing that Megan has safely given birth. Sending good thoughts your way.
Same😅😅
I’m having a boy due and this pregnancy has been fought for me this time!
We pray that your induction, labor, and everything goes well. ❤️🩹
I pray you have a swift recovery. 🙏🏾
I hope your delivery and recovery go well! Much love from Canada ♡
Wishing you a speedy recovery as well 💜
She didn't tell her to gain weight, she told her to lose weight(because she gained and became dangerous)
Yes!! I really want her to go back to the States for medical treatment!
She must return to America for her s. The U.S. health system is the best in the world :)
@@marishkaspirit she told her not to gain weight for 2 months which is not realistic esp w/ twins. she was already working out, and had a healthy bmi, all healthy test results. she didn’t gain dangerous weight her doctor isn’t equipped/used to a woman w/ an american body type.
@@diol9313 she need to return to the U.S for her health care lol
I had my twin girls 23 years ago,
I already had 2 chidren age 4 and 2 at the time.
"I'm wearing his panties...thank God Mr Moon is a hefty man" 🤣🤣
I'm so glad you are coming through this pregnancy journey, I had severe preeclampsia and had to have an emergency cesarean at 7 months.
I'm so sorry about this, I hope you have a speedy recovery! ❤️
You really thugged it out!! Women are amazing. You are carrying TWO whole humans!! The next video we see the babies will be here!! 💜
Wishing you the safest time for the remainder of your pregnancy - the twins are already so blessed to have you ❤
“Mr. Moons panties” 🤣🤣🤣 sorry Megan, that was so funny! You got this! Babies are probably here. Congratulations Moon parents 🥰
She said in the video that they checked for preeclampsia.
Christ :(
@.@ is your OB doing anything to help with your pain and damage or are you sol until you give birth????
I hope your baby and you stay safe and that you have a safe labor
My daughter just had her twin girls yesterday, so I completely understand your frustration! You got this, and congratulations 🎊🎉🍾
Btw Megan, because you had COVID while pregnant, your babies have the natural antibodies for it now, which is a plus for them health-wise
Stay strong and good luck!!!
Stay strong Megan! Almost there!!! Totally understand what you said, not surprising either. You are doing amazing 😻
Congratulations Megan!! Little bit upset at your Doctor because she really had you at out here doing the most during your pregnancy!! Girl you are very strong!!
Yay!!!! Your little blessings will be here today!!! I can just see the smile on Mr Moons face when they arrive. 🙏🏾
Awww, Megan 🫂... please know you have prayers and love coming from all around the 🌍 🫂💖🙏🏾
What a relief seeing another mom out there venting off how miserable the last few weeks of pregnancy really is.
I feel you Megan.
Wishing you a safe and smooth delivery.🎀
Sending you my love all the way from Greece!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video, Megan! You and those babies are doing work, and you are reaching the finish line!!
