My husband was born through IVF and surrogacy 25 years ago due to my MIL having cancer at 20. His maternal nana actually carried and gave birth to him and his twin brother. They reversed her early menopause. Literally the biggest blessing to my MIL, FIL and me. I don’t know what I would do without my husband. I am so excited for you all!!!!! Science is so incredible!
So I am curious...if her sister's egg is implanted in Meagan, does this mean the baby is the sister Kyla and Mr. Moon 's biologically ? I need to be enlightened about IVF stuff.
@@deegold3791 biologically yes. Her sisters eggs and husbands sperm was fertilized in a lab. After it became an embryo it was injected in her womb. Usually in such cases you are likely to get twins or even triplets. A lot of family members do donate eggs to one another in these cases, it's kinda normal now.

As a 50 year old woman who couldn't have children watching your journey is literally making me cry tears of joy. I have watched this video at least 34 times now each time I have the same reaction tears of joy for both of you. I know how important biological children are in cultures but beyond that I think what makes me very happy is to see his family except you because it took my mother twenty years to realize I had a great I had a great husband. Only after he became her caretaker did she realize he was a gold mine. So to know that his parents adored you because you brought joy into his life and brought him out of his shell was beyond happy for me.
PSA for young people travel world at a young age and make a concentrated effort to learn cultures and languages don't wait till you're older because you don't know what's in store in your life I got very sick at 42 lost my siblings by the time I was 46 someone I watch your channel I live vicariously through you

We started trying for kids around the time your infertility video came out and at the time I was super nervous about infertility for us too because of family history. I am sooo happy for you that IVF worked and you have such an amazing, supportive sister!!! And as this video is released, I am two weeks away from giving birth to our first baby!!! As an egg donor I want to leave a note for anyone considering to donate:
The negatives first - The experience is different for everyone, for some it's bad for others it's good, I had a good experience. BUT you should not donate more than 10times because that puts you at risk for cancer. There's very little research on this but I hope it improves.
Now, the positives: As I said I've had a good experience, and I love to be able to help ppl create life, which is one of the mightiest things ever when you think about it!
So if you're thinking about doing it, just do it. The clinic should be very nice to you and inform you that you can drop out and get support if you feel worried etc.
Last of all: So happy for the Moons
I have a question cause I’m kinda confused. When the sister donates her eggs into Megan , does it mean the eggs are biologically Megan’s and moons kid or is it the sisters and moons kid in Megan’s body? Are the eggs there to help her have a kid of her own or is it just like surrogate (sister and moon is baby in Megan) Like who’s dna would the child have Megan’s or the sisters? Genuinely confused here, sorry if my wording doesn’t make sense
@@Miss.R02 Genetically the children are Kylah and Mr. Moon's. Genetically Megan is their aunt. Megan carried and gave birth to them, making her their mother in every other sense. If she knew she was going to go through menopause at such an early age she may have been able to harvested her own eggs for later, but early menopause tends to blindside the women it affects.
I'm so happy for Megan because I know she really wanted children. To have her sister come through like this is such a blessing. Praying she goes full term and has a healthy baby. 🙏🏿 ❤

... as someone who had horrendous endometriosis, which resulted is early menopausal symptoms, multiple abdominal surgeries and miscarriages, and eventually a hysterectomy at only 36 leaving me completely infertile... I cannot in any way, shape or form explain to you all how wholeheartedly happy I am for you guys! I am not a person to cry often either, but I did shed a few happy tears for you. :D True story. The pain, heartache, mental and emotional stress... I wish no one else has to experience that. Ever. Don't even get me started on my bladder. Haha! Or the issues I had with some doctors glossing over stuff because they didn't want to thoroughly check me and left my endometriosis unchecked and running rampant for a solid 10 years, destroying my insides, telling me it was anxiety or IBS and trying to medicate it away when it could have been handled a long time ago... Sorry, had to vent that out. Infertility is, to me, by far the worst part of it all. That's why I get soooo excited when I hear stories like Megan's. I'm beyond happy for her! I wish you the best with your upcoming procedure and will definitely be praying for you. Many blessings and much love!

Trust me I was having problems conceiving, every period to me was just a sign of me not been pregnant I will feel so sad. People asking me why wasn’t I having kids and making dumb comments, not knowing how hard my husband and I were trying for a baby but it wasn’t happening. One day I was like you know what if it doesn’t happen this month it will next month. Every day I will place my hand over my belly and just thank God for my healthy baby. Now We have a four year old, who’s drawing family picture at school and apparently he’s having a baby sister whom he called the girl 😂🤣😂
My sister has weak kidneys. And she’s done everything for me and if ever she needs one of mine, I’ll give it. So, I got emotional too when they started crying. Congratulations though! 😭🎊

Oh I hate that im just seeing this but Im so happy for you all. You made me tear up so bad. I watched you for years since you first moved to Korea and just seeing you grow, get married and now be a family is one of the most rewarding things to watch. I had twin girls and they just turned 1 and it is one of the most complex emotional journies. Seeing your kids grow and change is beautiful and Im just so happy that your sister helped you with this. You are all beautiful and I hope you have a safe and beautiful pregnancy and delivery. ( I know I said beautiful like 8000 times but I cant come up with any other word right now)
