Oh yeah not at all, enough of a problem wrestling for breath with this invisible gorilla sitting in my lap. Did dude even have a pressure suit on?
This is absolutely insane. Pilot was absolutely trying to jack this guy up and he took it like a champ. Front seat knew what was coming, backseat didn’t. All at low altitude as well. Hyper impressed.
I concur
Guess now you are wishing you didn't back off last time.
pilots definitely live to fuck with other pilots and push them farther than anyone else.
What about all the ufo videos destin? Can you please show us a glimpse of that submarine navigation systems?
Sup Destin! Loved the sub videos.
I love how the pilot is still talking through the maneuvers.....impressive training and body control
They are trained to clench their anus with the power to snap a pencil
It's probably also easier when you're the one pulling on the stick - you can anticipate what's going to happen. Backseater just has to respond to the G's after the fact. Of course this is all just conjecture, I've never been in a fighter jet. Hahaha
Probably also has a g suit on
@@KienDLuu Same principle as driving a fast car around a race track, always easier to be the driver in terms of stomach and guts...
@@KienDLuu same thing with car. I have a bad friend driver and I was taking the backseat.
Tyler Streit is a stud. I've flown on many C-130 flights, never in an F-16. It's incredibly difficult to ride backseat of any aircraft. You cannot anticipate what the pilot is going to do. They know, and they prepare themselves for it. Well done, sir
C-130 pilot, trying to fight for his next breath.
F-16 pilot, FALCON TURN!
It really shows you how physical flying a jet is when you have to bank hard. You are fighting to stay conscious the whole time and maintain the flight path. No wonder they have to test your physical capacity.
Presumably this is his first time in a fighter jet and experiencing this level of constant G-force. This guy absolutely crushed this flight.
Viper turn 👍
F-16 pilots don’t refer to it as the Falcon. They call it the Viper.
@@benjaminlann And yet he is here, on tape, saying "Falcon turn"
The next time he gets into his C-130 he's gonna say "Watch this guys!"
LOL
Poor dudes in the back, with a lap belt hear a faint....ROLLING!
Jajajajajaja
Lmao
🤣🤣🤣
My dad was airforce for 27 years, I always waited to be fighter pilot but I was born deformed and color blind, I think pilots are amazing
What a hell of a ride. What I wouldn’t do to have the opportunity to fly backseat once before I’m no longer on this rock. I’m glad to have lived vicariously through this video.
-Altitude, altitude, pull up, pull up-

Lol this pilot is hilarious
that bit killed me 😂

We'd release 100%oxygen when it heated up.
Unless you've experienced G's yourself you can't imagine just how well this guy did. A sustained 6G will put most novices to sleep, this guy is hanging in there on the 9's.
I have done 9 positive in an extra... but those can't sustain the Gs in a turn. It's more like a peak and then it eases off as you lose energy. I don't understand even with g suits how these guys can sustain the G for so long. If you haven't done it before even 3g can be challenging
I'm pretty sure i will black out at 4/5 😂
You can clearly hear the passenger is using a breathing technique for him not to pass out but I don't hear the pilot doing it? Does he even breath air or needs blood on his brain? lol
@@johndoe-dv6qb those guys are so tolerant to g's they can just calmly have a conversation lol.
The passenger is also an Airforce C-130 pilot I believe.
The demo flights are the baddest! I used to just drop everything and watch the F-15's do them. Watching the vapor off the wings and the JP venting out the tips, you just know the G's they're pulling are something fierce.
Great video! So awesome how the pilot keeps say "Yeah buddy!!" He is so enjoying giving a friend the ride of a lifetime. Love to have a friend like that! I was an A 4 plane captain in the USMC back in the day and always wanted a chance to ride back seat. That pilot is the MAN!!
Shades of Ronnie Coleman.
@@jordanfrancisco27 I was thinking the same thing like at first "now where did I heard that commonly repeatedly by somebody..hmm...oh yea its Mr Ronnie"
I always love it how the pilots can talk like their talking a nice stroll on a Sunday, while the passengers seem like they are gasping for dear life.
Most back seaters probably over do the G-Strain maneuver since they don't know their body tolerance like the front seater does. Not to mention, the back seat doesn't know the demo profile like the front seater does, so it's impossible to know when some relief is coming and for how long it is going to last. That was a hell of a demo profile for sure.
Yah those pilots are beasts! I’d be doing AGSM like my life and soul depend on it. And my G tolerance I think is around 5.
F-16 Pilot: **Turns violently**
C-130 Captain: *”What is this dark magic?!”*
Yeah a five second 180 isn’t exactly in the cards 🤣
When is that ?

@@chr0min0id oh my bad then ! Not a native english speaker so i thought I missed that part !
@@LePresideent it’s ok haha
I would give anything to fly in a F-16, especially with that pilot. Awesome, totally awesome.
Fun fact: one of the rare occasions when it's GOOD to have moderately high blood pressure is when pulling Gs - it actually gives you an edge in G tolerance. Unfortunately it also raises your risk of stroke.
Not true, due to a shift of the cerebral auto regulation curve in chronic hypertension
*Pull up, pull up* "Don't mind her." That is just complete badassery if I do say so myself.
The parameters are pretty sensitive at low level flight, take note on the radar altimeter. When the aircraft is at about 1000ft in a bank near 90 degrees, you'll hear the altitude call out when the plane rolls level.
@@damonlandsdown most fighters have the glide ratio of a refrigerator. I believe if you get yourself into trouble and cant get out of it by around 10k you should be leaving the aircraft (punching out). So for ex., falling out of control at say 5 miles a minute...300 mph, real easy to do....how many seconds are left from 10k? Less than 30 seconds.
It just alexa.
Guy in the back: dying from G’s...
Pilot: “this A/C suuuuuuucks”
I think the pilot is trying to get him to throw up.
"dying"?! He is killing it.
For a C-130 pilot where you basically don’t experience more than 1.5Gs at the worst, this guys acing the 9.0-9.2Gs that the F-16 can pull, it’s a load of fun, if you actually do the breathing technique, without it it’s no fun cause you’d be passed out for the best parts.
Was on a 2 seater F-16 myself, best experience ever, maybe some time I’ll go AF, but for now I’m staying commercial
F16: Altitude altitude!
@@Landshark928 Huh?
Amazing. Blows my mind people can design, build, and fly these things. Incredible pilot!
When the pilots says OH YEAH!!! right before they take off gets me everytime 😆 but I give big props to the guy in the back he took that demo flight like a champ from high speed to minimum radius turn and didn't G lock out iv never seen this pilot work anybody as hard as this guy lol 😂 great job man!!!!....
That was definitely a “look what my plane does compared with yours” moment, guy in the back seat was an absolute g monster 👹
“dammit should have signed up for the F22” 😅😅😅
Trust me, there are some Herc maneuvers, that would curl the toes of a fighter jock, for different reasons then you think. Contrary to what movies tell you, fighter pilots aren't the only Alpha's in the sky.
I felt myself relax coming in to land, yeah that rider was 100% the best, I wouldnt have lasted 2 G pulls
@@ckmoore101 Ive seen a little stuff over New Castle DE that surprised me
@@VaughnDJs C-130 "Assault landings" are always fun, especially when fuel is low. C-130's ability to pitch the props to reverse thrust immediately on touchdown, combined with low/no cargo, and low fuel, is akin to driving into a swimming pool of wet concrete at 100 mph. Fighter pilots, (other than carrier pilots) don't know that kind of deceleration.
“Few more dinosaurs to burn” damn being a fighter pilot really is the most badass shit on the planet.
its made my day on motorcyle like nothin -_-
I don’t get the saying?
@@waronconsciousness9523 He’s talking about fuel. Fossil fuels are made from remains of once living organisms like dinosaurs.
Greta don't like that 😆
Most of their work is very boring though. Like 99% of it. Pilots dont just show up and go up. Being a fighter pilot is about dealing with boring, annoying shit 99% of your time and hoping the 1% is worth it all. All the paperwork, all the useless training that does nothing to improve them as pilots etc etc
Tried to brake his sprit but he hung tough, that was the most violent ride I have seen good job on hanging in there!!
What a lucky guy! This has been on my bucket list since highschool! Listen to that G.L.O.C. training!😉👏

I’d be the same way if offered to ride in the back. Like, it’s a once in a lifetime experience, you gotta keep that goin as long as you can! I’d be enjoying that all the way till I pass out lol

"Few more dinosaurs to burn"
Absolutely the best afterburner joke and so American at the same time. You are officially my favorite pilot
Very cool video. I was with the 82nd and loved jumping out of the C-130 out of all the birds we jumped. Cool to see a C-130 pilot getting a ride like this.
Outstanding video with two great friends!! Great stuff!!
For the young: Arising out of the lessons learned in Vietnam (air superiority lost with F105s, F4s) , the late 1960s, early 1970s aircraft engineering competition produced a fly-off between two fighter prototypes, the General Dynamics YF16 (winner in 1975 the F-16 Falcon) and the Northrup YF17. While the Falcon has been upgraded over 5he years with technology insertion, you just watched amazing half- century old American aircraft engineering. The amazing Lockheed C130 Hercules turboprop first flew in 1955...... 67 years ago.
“Few more dinosaurs to burn” “yeaaah baby” love that XD
F/16 Pilot: I’ll make you go unconscious with all my maneuvering!
C-130 Pilot: Thats nothing; I can put you to sleep flying straight and level.
😂😂😂🤣🤣
😂👍🏻
Hahaha, best comment.
Ex NAVAIR here...old story...P3 sub hunter on patrol, a F4 comes along side and puts on a small aerobatic show for the P3 crew. F4 pilot pulls back up next to the P3 and asks the pilot if he misses all the fun stuff doing aerobatics, etc.,. The P3 pilot says, "hold on a minute", about 4 minutes later P3 pilot is back on the air and the F4 pilot asks, "anything wrong"? P3 pilot says, "No, I went in the back and took a shit and then grabbed a sandwich", F4 pilot leaves.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
BADASS pilots and plane! What a flight demo! Back seat pilot, gonna need something bigger than a C130 to carry those bells!! I passed out right after the gear doors closed and you yanked the stick! Really cool watching the wings work. Awesome fun video! Thank you for sharing this with us!!
C-130 pilot took that like a champ!
"Here's some Gs!"
Literally watching the guy's head change colors as the blood drains out of it...
Thats why u need to breathe like that
You can’t help but breathe like that....the g suit keeps the blood upstairs not breathing
@@justing42 g suit makes tolerance for 5G
@@justing42 Sorry man but you’re wrong. By breathing hard and forcing your lungs to be full, you push the blood out your abdomen. G pants only get the blood from the legs. Valsalva manoeuvre pushes it up the abdomen and into the chest. Breathing like that is essential to the technique. G pants alone only get you to about 6G.
That’s probably why he flips upside down regularly to get blood back to his head fast to recover
"Make sure everything that's supposed to be flappin is flappin."🤣
I love technical pilot talk.😅
It’s pretty simple really 😂
My dad was a pilot in the RAF during the Cold War, flying small VIP transports. Once on a wives trip, one of the got concerned about the stream of fuel leaking from one of the engines. The response that came back was simply, “don’t worry about it, it’s when it stops that you should start worrying.”
“Flappin’” is the technical term! 😆
He must have been going to lights out , just like before a surgery when they give you something to sleep for four hours! Morphine shot!! They both are very amazing!
@@AfterburnPodcast Your precision flying, your interaction with back seat people, and the ease with which you execute mind blowing maneuvers, like everyone else here just mad respect to you Rain. I don't know exactly how but these videos absolutely lift me up. Thank you.
Wow, that’s definitely the most hot dogging around that I’ve seen on one of these ride alongs. I’m sure it was because he is a military pilot and not a civilian, but really cool to watch.
What most people don't realise is, dealing with G's is a lot to do with anticipation, if you know what's coming you have the split second to brace and begin breathing procedures, if you don't you're always caught off guard so never get that opportunity, hence why these videos. There's no doubt a fully condition fast jet pilot can withstand much higher tolerances day to day, purely due to repetition, but the backseat cargo man nailed it, and I promise you if he was in control it would have had a much lesser effect on him than it did here.
Its similar being a passenger vs driving a car which makes it a lot easier to anticipate and handle hard turns or brakes.
The pilot seems like such a character, definitely the type of guy I’d like to share a beer with.
But don’t bring your girl around
😂
Yeah, OK, but I would buy him his own beer.
“Yeah! Buddy”
It still amazes me how they can fight the g force and still operate the jet with such precision
It's called; go-fast pants
I wonder if one or both have the pressure suits which pushes the legs so that the blood gets forced up and more remains int he head. They have G-tolerance training as well which apparently helps tremendously.
@@RiDankulous Yes, the are wearing G-Suits. Only time you will see a US Tactical jet without G-Suits is the Blue Angels.
You can see and hear him blow out (forcing breathe) during the manuvering. Keeps positive pressure in the chest cavity and blood supplied to the brain.
Ok let me clarify I have worked on jet aircraft since the age of 18 so I know about the g suits and how they work but still amazed at the abilities of military fighter pilots I can only think of a few things at a time not to mention oh yeah breath like this or pass out lol
this guy made such an insane job! many people would have passed out easily, but he was sooo strong man. completely focused on his breath.
You are one skilled pilot and he is one lucky friend. Thanks for sharing.
During these high Gs demo usually the pilots talk casually as if he is riding a bicycle while the passengers in the back seat are working there asses off to stay alive
Amazing but don’t understand why the oxygen must at low levels
My question is how do pilots do that lol

Those C-130 pilots are badasses in their own right! F-16s as well, it’s refreshing to see them show each other both sides of our missions.
What amazes me is that the pilot is pulling the same Gs and is still in complete control. The passenger looks like all he can do is focus on ensuring he breathes properly so he doesn’t pass out. The pilot sounds like he’s a the spa for the day! Absolutely amazing!!!

I mean the C-130 driver flew a Texan in flight school, 1200 horse turbo prop and learned aerobatics, he’s not exactly a stranger to flight like this. Not his every day thing but he’s been there before.
I just spent 10 minutes trying to figure out why my right speakers don't work, inspecting dusty speaker wire behind the cabinet and their connections.
Anyway, props to the pilot of the F-16, his skill reps the USAF well.
Thanks for sharing. Funny when he said he was tired, the pilot gave him some more spins. What an awesome opportunity.
I would have had a heart attack during take off. The fact that anyone can withstand those G forces is amazing. Even more mind blowing is that somehow a human being is capable of piloting such an unthinkably complex piece of machinery, while not passing out. And then doing it while telling jokes and laughing. That's certified badass.

@@smeech5177 so the cockpit with all the stuff inside it weighs considerably more than the tail of the jet ,makes sense .all the the tech for tracking ,targeting controls for the the jet itself plus the ejector seat with pilot not to mention the front gun and ammo ,when flying you have to keep the nose up ,plus speed plays a part ,too slow and you lose altitude is like it falls out the sky ,a stall sends the plane spinning, falling out of control until you slam on the afterburner to get you up again

Watching those wingtips flutter from the g-stress really makes you appreciate how well these planes are made and the beating they can endure. Never really thought about that before until I watched this. Great vid.
Why it happens exactly? It looks like the airflow changes over the wings. Is it related to air density?
I could feel all them G's from my house! C-130 pilot did great handling them..
Indeed !!!
It is not a joy ride, pilots have to get their flying hours in. So sometimes they take along passengers...
@@dodgechargerrt1873 sure its a joyride..it's called an incentive flight crew chiefs some media people etc get them
@@bruschi8148 Yes I understand it is a joyful ride for the people whom get that op for sure...
Aim High, keep flying right, ACE!!! I was holding my breath along with them at times!!! Intense Way Far Out Dude✌️👽
Bitchin' Betty: "Altitude, Attitude." Pilot: "Don't mind her." Love it.
Lol
yes true . In commercial aircraft these warnings have to be taken seriously and would normally not be heard unless there's some issues.
On military planes its yeah whatever.
@@hammerofdavey yeah, like the one sounding off an incoming missile. Bet you that's the one sound the pilots shit their pants hearing if they're in a live dog fight
Thought a bitchin Betty was low fuel. Hence, bingo bingo bingo is the call for a bitchn Betty
"flauight controwls, flauight controwls" (southern accent) she says in the F/A-18.
The pilot is talking casually mid pull like he's flying the plane remotely from another country, meanwhile you in the back can barely breath or keep consciousness. F'in legends, both of you!
It’s similar to driving a Standard vehicle. Every time you shift you know what’s coming yet the passenger is always jerking back and forth.
@@RavishingSailor I personally try to rev match. Prolongs the life of your vehicle and offers passengers a level of comfort.
Rikki Tiki no doubt man!
His breathing technique is deep immediate breaths and tightening up of the body to keep the blood flowing to the brain so there is no lack of consciousness
@@RavishingSailor .
This was really neat! Some footage of the outside on the ground as they flew at the same time in a corner would have been awesome
Served in a legacy hornet squadron at NASL with much respect for zoomies! Fat Albert driver got the full Viper treatment! @ 6:24 that Split-S into that 600 knot pass in the opposite direction kicked mucho ass!
I can imagine how nuts this demo must sound to the people that live in the airfield proximity. Having a 16 throwing Gs right over your house isn't a quiet affair.
I speak from experience, it’s freakin awesome, it’s the air show that only a few get to see and it’s free.We just had the Blue Angels
Not as loud as them breaking the sound barrier, they to it once in a while over my hometown while intercepting Russian aircraft in the Barents and Norwegian sea.
Its a proud affair
Man it's not quiet from f15, f35, f22 or t38 either. I've been doing work at an airforce base for over a year now. I see all 4 of those and the viper daily. Seeing them do unrestricted take offs is the loudest
it sounds A M A Z I N G
Glutton for punishment, and took every bit of it with a smile (when he could). Impressive, Ty!
Man o man, I just love the way the moisture in the air is no match for the wings of the aircraft.
C-130 pilot took it like a champ!! You guys are both rockstars … 🇺🇸
From my limited flight experience I can tell you that there is a significant difference between the experience between the pilot in control and the passenger. The same can be said for driving fast/twisty roads in a car. The driver never feels sick because they're in control and are braced for what is happening. This guy did amazing for what he experienced...mostly due to his own aircraft experience but also to the fact he more or less knew what was coming and was probably stoked to have the opportunity/privilege to experience what this aircraft is capable of.
Explains why i get nauseous in a car as a passenger especially on an empty stomach but driving myself have no issues whatsoever.
Totally agree. I am only a c172 ppl Student but it is a huge difference if you fly yourself or if you are just watching.
Not to mention the pilot is wearing a G-suit
@@Knukls They're both wearing a G-Suit. I can imagine the back-seater back home in his "office" thinking, "I wonder if this C130 can do a.... neaaaa, probably not a good idea!" 🤣😂
plus the C130 Pilot is not used to pulling those kind of G's. it's a tolerance thing too.
