Thank you very much !!!
Beautiful plane!
Thank you 😃
Sorry to hear that, I loved and always wanted a real Glow mounted pattern plane, I never even flew one In all my years of RC flying. Except on the sim.
Thank you ! I am ok now .. It had been years …
You really should get one of your dream plane and fly it ! Well, if you never fly a real one, suggest to start with .40-.60 size plane ..
I like to hear your news flying your dream plane 😃
Beautiful! Well done
Thank you so much !!!!
Massive plane.
Thank you ! ! It certainly is big enough for me . I have hard time by just bring it in and out of basement .....
I’m inspired 👏🏼🤠
Thank you !! Glad to hear that !!
No engine and tuned pipe pics???
Sorry. it was built in 2005 and I can not find any picture of underbody except the only one in the video. I use OS160 FX, header from Mueller , Perry Oscillator pump and Mac Pipe 1092 (something like that). Hope this helps.
Forgot to mention .. sadly… I lost this plane a year later after it was built due to radio issues … so I can’t take any more picture of the engine and pipe to show you .
This plane looks amazing. Nicely built...looks like it flies like a dream and tracks like it's on rails. which you lots of fun with it....
I have one question....when you sheeted one side of the wing, how do you sheet the other side. What glue do you apply to the ribs before it dry up to use the next sheet...???
understand what I'm asking???
Thank you for the good words !! Once the glue is fully cured on one side , I flip the wing and make it sit still on a soft surface like styroform to sheet the other side. Small thickness needle pins and masking tapes are very useful to secure sheet to ribs. There are other ways by applying some weight with good fixture and support jigs. I use yellow wood glue for ribs and epoxy for high stress area like spars. I even use some medium/thick CA to glue it down to small portion of ribs near the leading edge, which will ensure that you have an anchor point and will be easier to secure rest area of the sheet to ribs. I prefer slow cure glue which penetrates deeper and bounds well.
@@shihhuachu@I'm building the MK Aurora from Naruke...it's a gem you will not find easily. I'm trying to finish the wing but got stuck with sheeting on the other side. That's why I'm asking....ok...slow glue is needed for this job. I'll follow what you say...sounds better. At first, I thought to use the zap CA, but the green one...but now I'll use epoxy as well. Thanks, man....have fun flying your pattern bird. It looks amazing and your paint job is awesome👍
@@sceudue50 Thank you Sir ! Fantastic ! That was my dream plane from childhood. Yes, it is definitely a gem to find one nowadays. I was lucky to find one years ago. Look forward to hearing good news from you !!!
