What I like most about this coaster is the tunnel and the swift art-deco design of the trains. And it looks to be a classic ride. PWG

3:58 The guy in the white puts his hand close to the stop for the lift and he's checking the exit of the tunnel to see if the second train came out yet. I wonder if he pushed the stop, if he did they would have had to push the train up the lift hill because the motor can't start back up with the load on the hill.

I'm only seventeen, so I did not get to ride the original Riverside Cyclone before it was reprofiled.
PS - the first drop was actually shortened in 2001.

Are you sure I thought the drop had been re-profiled quite some time before we visited in 2001, but I could be wrong. I'm sure you can find out on the internet somewhere.

Would be nice if their can be a grant or a fundraiser to completely rebuilt this Blue Streak using all new wood and having rails on both sides and installing new safety trains for this coaster and having it painted identical to Cedar Point's Blue Streak Coaster

Not absolutely sure but I think they only had one train in operation at a time. I think they must have changed the trains over during the time I was there probably because the silver one was sticking on the brakes.

after the 1992 season the Blue Streak got some repairs cause they wanted to knock it down after that season until new owners saved it and fixed it

Being behind the camera at the time I can confirm that the train was quite often stopping short on the brakes and the guys where running to give it a push.

Yes, I have. It still looked like a great ride back then, before they put in those stupid trims. Hopefully, the'll bring back the original drop with Topper Track someday (and get rid of those brakes).

Why did they change it from 4 6 seaters to 3 6 seaters?

Running two trains at a time?

Do you have any footage of the Riverside Cyclone from before Riverside became SFNE?
