Your outfit looked very good on you. The skirt fits great...I love the hem...genius!! You do a very good job when fitting and sewing. I enjoy watching!
I love watching you make your coffee! I can smell the aroma....LOL!! ❤❤❤❤Everything that you create looks fantastic on you! I have some of those patterns in my collection from my earlier sewing years. In my opinion they're classics and timeless. I am enjoying the cold in the Houston area! Thanks for sharing and happy sewing!!!!
Your outfit is really nice. It looks great on you. I love the vintage patterns. I purged my 1970 patterns 7 years ago when I moved. Grrrr… I wish I had them now.
I did the same, although I am nowhere near the size I was in the 70s.😂 Back then patterns just came in one size per pattern envelope. But I still regret it. I guess it’s the memories they stir up
Oh that is a wonderful outfit, the colours look fantastic on you. You are positively glowing in that red. I do love the length of the skirt and it was perfect to use the selvage as the hem. What marvellous patterns and uncut! Real classic and timeless pieces, we all need those. Great job Grace. You make me smile and are ALWAYS inspiring ❤ xx
AWW Thanks Carole! I had this cut out before Christmas. Both pieces have been sitting in my sewing room and I finally got to sew them. Both are very quick & easy. I am fortunate to get those rare patterns. I plan to sew some up this year. Thanks for tuning in! 💝💝
Wow! Those two pieces are beautiful! And they came from a fabric Mart Craft bundle! I noticed today they have $2.99 shipping, I may have to take a look😊. You are such a great sewist!❤ You are very inspiring and I love to watch your videos ( and I always want a cup of coffee too 😊). I loved all the old patterns. I would have picked up the same ones. You may not know that the year the pattern was released is usually on the bottom or side of the back. Keep on sewing and making these interesting videos and I’ll keep watching! And drinking a cup of coffee 😊😊 Have a happy and blessed new year!❤
AWWW Thank you! Yes, I just posted the $2.99 shipping on my Community tab. I also ordered another bundle!! I'm so BAD!! I'm thrilled that you enjoy my videos and coffee! Sewing and coffee, a great combination. More fun to come in 2025. Keep watching and have a great weekend! 💖
Oh Grace!! 2$ ??? Your skirt and that top are absolutely stunning on you! Great fabric/ pattern match! They fit you so well!❤ I enjoyed your video. The free patterns you snagged are all very interesting. The little girls' poncho pattern was one my mom used for me when I was 9 yrs old back in the 70's! My favorite out of all of them was the very last shorts, tank, and blazer pattern you shared. I adore that 90's look. It can be made to look classy or fun depending on the fabrics used. I wish you lived close by so you could pop in for a cup of coffee and a sew. I look forward to next week's fun make!! You have tickled my interest! Happy Sewing, Grace!! 😊
Oh I definitely wish we lived closer. It's hard having sewing friends when they all live hours apart. UA-cam has been a real blessing though. I've gotten to meet so many fun people like YOU who share my passion for all things sewing!! 🪡I agree with the last pattern. That look is coming back though. It reminds me of New Look N6737. But I prefer the look of S7778 set like you said! Much more classy. Have a cup of coffee on me and I will do the same for you today Lesley! ☕💝💝
I love your makes. They turned out beautifully. Great job. I saw a couple of patterns that I have in my stash. I love the so easy Vogue cape pattern. Great video
Hi Grace! Very nice outfit. Love those Fabricmart bundles! You found some really great vintage patterns. I enjoyed seeing them. Thank you for sharing!❤
Hi Grace! Your bundles always have nice pieces. I love the set. The plaid skirt is so cute. Ive been purging patterns. But those vintage ones will be a great find for their next owner! A+ for your hubby! Thats a great tool😊
I have S3935 (the PJ's), and I've made NL6263. The neckline gave me fits! The skirt and top are beautiful! I keep waiting for Fabric Mart to have free shipping in the bundle boxes. It's cold in south western Ohio! It snowed 5 days ago and then again today. Happy sewing!
Thanks Nancy, I hope you get some more bundles soon! 🥰I will post the $1 shipping on my Community tab the next time they have it. The neckline on N6263 looks tricky. I hope you stay warm and get to sew this weekend!
Very classic and elegant from those two types of fabric that you matched so well thanks to your talent and creativity. That red looks great on you. The top is gorgeous and of course well tailored 🪡as well as the skirt using the selvage as the hem 😊 Another great make by Grace❤
Hi Grace. We were 32 degrees here today too but we had rain this morning which makes it slippery. Chance of rain, snow or mixed tonight. I love the outfit and like that you left the fringe. I was laughing when you showed the vintage patterns as I do have some of them. I never got rid of my or my mom’s sewing patterns even though she didn’t do much sewing. My dad was better at it. When I got to 12 it was my job. I’ve got to go through mine, cause I want to make up some of them as I no longer have the clothes but would love to make them with more modern fabric. Stay warm and have an incredible weekend. ❤❤
Hi Barb, That’s so great about the vintage patterns! You should definitely make some of them - I think those styles are going to be coming back! I plan on sewing some of these this year. Stay tuned. I hope you stay warm also and have a wonderful weekend!
@@sewlovelywithgrace ❤️. And it is pouring rain right now and has been raining for about an hour. If it freezes tonight we will need ice skates tomorrow
Hi Grace! Great outfit! Love the lengthened skirt and the fringe hem. I am using a Fabric Mart mystery bundle fabric for my current project 🙂 So nice that the patterns you picked up were uncut and factory folded!
Love the vintage patterns at the end! Your outfit looks so nice, you did an excellent job making it and I love how the fabrics coordinate! You look very collegiate! :D Looking forward to next weeks video! Have a great rest of your weekend!❤
Coffee sew sisters ❣️ I love the look❤I haven’t been able to catch the box or perhaps I’m not looking in the right place.. excited about your makes. Thanks for sharing Enjoyed the patterns also
Your outfit you made looks beautiful on you and you did a fantastic job. I also enjoy seeing the frost on your roof. I live in the desert and I miss it being at least cold enough for boots.
Great outfit Grace! Just a warning on those old patterns- the sizing is very different now than years ago ! I’ve had to get rid of several vintage because they just wouldn’t fit me! Sure I could grade up but often times it was just not worth all the effort!
I think you'll find the craft bundles are a really good deal! I've had great luck with them. 6 pieces for $6 and I get them when shipping is $1 or free.
Love your top and skirt! ❤ I enjoy seeing your makes and you really have made great pattern choices with your bundle fabrics. As often as I shop Fabric Mart, I have never purchased a bundle but I think I will definitely try one soon. May I ask what plastic sleeves to you use for your pattern storage? I have a huge pattern collection and I really need to protect them. As I sew, I am constantly thumbing through them to match with my fabric. It is hard on the paper envelopes they are in.
