They’re just beautiful and the marbleized ones look like took much longer to do. What a great idea when you have many cookies and not as much time to pipe each one individually.
Marlyn, I ran out of superlatives for your work long ago. You continue to amaze me and never dissapoint. You're blessed with a remarkable gift. Thank you for sharing it with us. Happy Easter!
Marlyn, I made the marbled eggs with the same colors and sent them to my sister and her family. I'm so excited because she said they were so pretty that they almost didn't want to eat them. She said loved them so much that she'd buy them if they were in a shop! I told her I got the design idea from you and she said it's to bad you're in Montreal. 😄 Lol Thanks again!
Thank you so much for sharing these techniques! I was looking for a cool way to decorate my crosses for church on Sunday... no I think I know what I'm going to try; the marble technique!! Have a very blessed Easter!
New to cookie decorating and have been working on learning the ins and outs , you are amazing ! I have learned so much from your videos and guess what I have these exact colors left over . Looks like more cookies will be baked up this weekend ! THANK YOU !
I love the marbled eggs! I was thinking to myself, why didn't she just put the three colors on the plate without using that bag setup--but then you answered my question! It looks messy but fun. And using M&Ms is clever, not to mention that they taste better than a glob of royal icing. Thank you for your videos!!!
Really cute sets, Maryln! I love the way you come up with such practical ways of accomplishing the techniques you have in mind. I'm really glad you showed this. I dipped some cookies to make a galaxy. It turned out fine for what I was doing but your technique would have given me more dramatic results. I'm also glad to see that you swirled on white icing to make the M&M rosettes. I thought I was going to have to mix up pipe to match each color for the dot transfers I made. I see, now, that white will look fine and save me a lot of work. I'm going to buy a bag of M&M's today. What a better taste and a lot less effort. Thanks, Maryln. I learn so much from you.
Cool marble effects! Great idea. I may do this for St. Patrick's Day using a shamrock shape using either dark green, light green, and white or yellow. Thanks for your tutorial!
i love the marbled technique! it reminds me of some nail polish drag marbling. what if you used your technique and then dragged a tooth pick through the icing to make more varied designs?
You're in the right place Amanda! There are beginning cookie basics in her video line up. She share's her basic cookie recipe, making Royal Icing, trouble shooting and on to fantastic decorating. Equally important are her suggestions on keeping cookie decorating economic. Have Fun and Happy Easter! 😊

The marbled cookies look awesome!! Even if it's a little messier, I'd say it's worth it for that effect. Thanks so much for sharing!! 🌷

Loved these. I dipped cookies for the first time today. I think I need my icing a little thinner for dipping. Thanks
+Susan's Faves I had trouble getting the right consistency when it was thicker the icing got pulled off as I lifted it from the plate.

Fantastic
i love the marbled technique! it reminds me of some nail polish drag marbling. what if you used your technique and then dragged a tooth pick through the icing to make more varied designs?
+Angela Smith you could do that but I found that i lost the definition of each color, it looked like 1 color.
Montreal Confections oooh okay. I figured you would know. Its still super cool tho. I cant wait to try it
what type of icing bags do you use
Parabéns!
what type of icing are you using and how do you get thin glossy look of the icing?
Royal icing
I can't reach to this consistency to outline and lettering. Haw can i reach to this consistency? Anyone knows?
Add more powdered sugar for stiffer consistency. Use a spray bottle to loosen your consistency...that way you can have control of how much.

littlefionas I'd love to see a better way
If you have a better tutorial, I am sure we would all like to take a look at it. Until then, I will do it Marlyn's way.
