    ▬ ABOUT THIS REVIEW ▬
I Tried Blue Apron for One Week! | Best Meal Delivery Service? Owen Poole, our resident CNET Home chef, puts his cooking skills to the by tackling Blue Apron - one of the first meal delivery services. In this video, Owen goes over the nutritional value, amount of servings per meal, affordability of the meal kit, and how these fresh meals taste. He'll also touch on the recipes he had over the week; how easy the instructions are and whether or not the estimated meal prep/cook time is accurate. As for Blue Apron, they offer two types of easy meal delivery services: ready-to-eat meals (prepared meals) and standard meal kits to cook at home. The company offers home meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These fresh meals usually provide a minimum of 2 servings and a maximum of 4 servings per meal. Recipes and menus offer a variety of meals that are friendly to not-so-picky eaters, vegetarians, and everyone else in between! Since Blue Apron offers a wide range of food items, we see this being one of the best meal kit delivery services for picky eaters. Overall, we think Blue Apron is a great contender for one of the Best Meal Delivery Kits online. Hopefully, this Blue Apron meal kit review was helpful and narrowed down your search for the best meal kit plan.

I love the ability to try new types of cooking, explore new recipes without needing to buy individual ingredients in quantities where I might never use them but once. I am 75 and have learned new techniques several times.

“I do have a pretty high level of [cooking] skill.”
“The pork schnitzel has complex elements… you have to flatten the pork chop, bread it, and fry it… something I’m not familiar with.”
Bro… You never tenderized meat and cooked it in a pan?

Your comment in the last minute about your partner being vegan is very useful. Being one myself, I need to look into their options in more detail.

I know how to make homemade sauces. I cook meals from different countries but my problem is portion control. Cooking is definitely art!

I DO have an Alexa device - an Echo Show 8 - and it is in my kitchen. That accessibility is somewhat useful (in particular) if/when one of your recipe cards is missing. You can ask Alexa to find the specific recipe, by name. You can then also have Alexa read steps out loud to you as you cook. However, Blue Apron does make minor changes to recipes from one time to another. So the recipe card Alexa pulls up for you may or may not have the exact same ingredients and instructions as the kit you have that week.
