Here in 2023 and in NYC these meal kits are a huge savings over going to the grocery store. 100 bucks for 4 meals? I can't get out of the grocery store for less than that for one meal.
But does their app have better recipe instructions? I really liked Marley Spoon's recipe follow along in their app. I only requested the recipe cards so that I could easily check the delivery for missing ingredients (they were frequently missing things...main things that were in the recipe title!).
Horrible service. Sends you food you do not choose, when you ask for a refund because they send you food you did not select they offer you 20 dollars even though you cancelled your orders before receiving anymore shipments. Their meals for diabetics contain added sugars and too many carbs to truly be considered low carb. The American diabetes association guidelines for a low carb diet should only be considered by those with their diabetes under control, with low supervision from their doctors. Any dietary advice for a diabetic that has you going over 100gs of carbs in one day is essentially medical malpractice. Additionally even if you previously select meals that do not require prep, they will just send you whatever meals they feel like and say you selected them. Horrible service, worse than nutrisystem, essentially a scam masquerading as health food.

I watched this to look for how their spices are packaged and, sure enough, that’s non recyclable film plastic. 😑 It’s gonna be a no.
Wtf who cares
Sunbasket's zero-kerning logo stresses me out and makes me angry. Sun detail looks like oberon branding.
Mattress guy🙂
