Replaced a CDI box on a 1st gen Phazer 2 yrs ago, aftermarket, pretty sure the colours were different than Yamaha harness, had to figure out what went to what. Works now. I had help from a factory Phazer shop manual, but man, is that thing hard to use (manual). Xeroxed photos you can't see, and multiple languages, including Finn(?). Good luck.

did you check your front shocks if there even ,, one may be lower then the other one
