I'd recommend going to a NBAA meeting when you get a chance, A lot of people worth meeting there.

It all comes down to customer service. if you can offer a quick, easy, stress-free service, clients will buy from you. You could even add in some added perks E.G free chauffeur service (this will lower the margin but could be a good way to win more customers in the long term) In short, people buy from people, it does not always come down to ££
If you reach out to a seller directly , you will be only limited options what he has. If you reach out to a brocker , you'll get enough options which way better than one another to choose wisely.
Is it true brokers steal gratuities that are intended to go to the pilots with the " Do you wish to leave a gratuity for your crew?" Its a rumor in the charter pilot community.

commission wise 10%acmi rate /hour (from lessee?) and 6%final sale price (from seller if representing /from buyer if representing)..i have a problem with lessee not wanting to acknowledge commission .only after conclusion of signing under dotted line..so i suggested to lessor side to draft up contract to deduct comm from 1+1 standard deposit in case of lessee backing off from promised comm. appreciate your valuable feedback. All to be done via escrow. to repossess ac in case of dafault on brokerage fee during course of contract.

Because sellers don’t want the responsibility of selling to you. Similar to any other middle man, like in real estate.
