You guys are going places I most likely wont. You're presenting history without judgement and drama. Just facts about your explores. Its refreshing and important. Stay safe and keep up the positive energy.
Don’t think that observation post going anywhere soon amazingly solid structure even when some of them a slide down the beach they remain intact Very interesting video 👍
I know, it's incredible how well these buildings have been engineered so well that some have managed to survive nigh 70 years of dereliction and are still holding strong. Unfortunately, a time will come when these structures will crumble, but that is why we're filming them now, so they can still be experienced for many years to come. Thanks for watching 😀
Well done men. These places should be preserved as they should remind the world of the cost of our freedom. Men served and gave their lives so we can live ours in freedom.. I believe they would be so proud to know that you young men in 2018 still remind us of it. I am.
Thanks for the recognition of our work :) I believe the best way to learn about the past is to visit locations like this as they allow us to experience first-hand the environment that the soldiers faced. These places should be documented before they inevitably succumb to destruction and vandalism to remind others the area's fascinating history.
Great vid as always! There's something quite moving about being able to explore these physical links back to the war; it brings the old B&W documentary footage here into the present day in a tangible way. The view out to sea is so peaceful now we can scarcely imagine what those structures once "saw"... I'm glad they've been left as they were and not removed.
We too were happy that the structures remained as they give us a view back into the past, and their structure speaks a silent story of a horror our ancestors had to endure. These buildings are some of many relics that allow us in the modern day to glimpse and begin to understand what the war was really like. Thanks for watching 👍
super video lads. You were lucky, no people around. When i went, it was manic !!!. I managed to get on top of that fire control bunker as well . (even at my age lol.) the one thing you will learn as you get older, is your mind will always stay young. Keep up the good work lads. I'll watch your UK videos soon. Thanks for sharing...
Yes it gets very frustrating but it is unfortunately unavoidable, unless these locations are locked and preserved, but then explorers like us cannot come along and document them. Thanks for watching :)
