Great video, I think the narrow tunnel with the bricks [8:51} may be the emergency exit, If the main entrance became blocked you would have to break down the wall & dig out the sand which filled the escape passage. The embrasure may have had a light gun for anti tank work, when you exited through the machine gun cupola [I think that style may have been called a 'Tobruk'] there was a concrete wall from the bunker roughly parallel to the beach. If the embrasure was the landward side of the wall the gun would have been to take attackers in the flank, the wall protecting & hiding it from the beach. keep up the good work & stay safe.
Just want to say “thank you guys “ very interesting, love your videos, very professionally done. 👍👍👍👍👍 looks like a lovely place peaceful place now, wish I was there lol. Plz stay safe.
Another excellent vid, thanks! Have been watching "World War 2 in colour" on N**f*** last week, so this is well-timed. You were so lucky with the weather again. Keep up the good work :)
Cheers mate, yeah the weather really was great for exploring when we went, so it made for good shots and easy work (to a degree anyway). Thanks for watching 👍
Quality content men. As always. Glad to see a new video again, I really enjoy them a lot. Hard to believe you guys do this so well at your age. Remarkable to say the least.
Very good videos I like seeing the places you go, I know I will never be able to go see in person, thanks for sharing, keep up the awesome work you do, I like the music you add to your videos, what is the music on this video that I maybe able to find and get, thanks
Yeah mate, I know. Lots of lives, especially since they're on the Dunkirk beaches, plus this was one of the most heavily defended areas of the coastline. Thanks for watching 👍👌
Yes, I believe that this refers to the stronger batteries, as they are heavily armed, and the weaker areas are those which only contain small bunkers, like the H667 type. Thanks for watching 👍
Great content...and some interesting finds.
Interesting bunkers and very good camera work keep the videos coming and stay safe
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed the video, and don't worry, we're always careful 👍

Thanks mate, I believe you are correct in all aspects, the cupola was in fact a tobruk, and your other ideas appear true. Thanks for watching 👍

Welcome back lads. Another cracking video. Did you all get the exam results you wanted?
Yeah, I think we did for the most part, thanks for asking!😊 Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
I’ll second that!
Beautiful countryside. Wonder how many people lost their lives there? Shame they or falling down due to the storms removing the sand from under them
Yeah mate, I know. Lots of lives, especially since they're on the Dunkirk beaches, plus this was one of the most heavily defended areas of the coastline. Thanks for watching 👍👌
If you could find the huge underground bunker based on an old (non comedy) peter sellers movie. The block house.
Do you know the location of this bunker, it sounds very interesting. Thanks for watching 👍
Bet you get real frustrated when you can’t find access
To be honest it is quite annoying, but as we usually have a backup plan, everything normally turns out ok. Thanks for watching 👍
Didnt the Germans have "stronger" and "weaker" fortifications up and down the French coast?
Yes, I believe that this refers to the stronger batteries, as they are heavily armed, and the weaker areas are those which only contain small bunkers, like the H667 type. Thanks for watching 👍
