In my head canon, I’d like to think that the 11th Doctor saw Amy and Rory for Christmas after the events of The Angels Take Manhattan. But then that makes it all the more sad…😭💙💙
I always felt a scene of him seeing from afar Amy finding Rory in the past was missing. Like them not traveling with him anymore is set in stone but he does make sure they were safe.
I love the implication that Tyrell is actually transporting into those episodes and needs to dodge the danger. I think most doctor who episodes would be vastly improved if a tiny version of Tyrell was in the background.
The most unfortunate thing about the circumstances of Amy and Rory is that being in New York means they’re isolated away from the Doctor’s earliest contemporary companions when the time comes
Love Doctor's adventures! I'm excited waiting new special and the new season! And really really really happy for finally watching The Doctor in an officially way in Brazil! 💚💛💙🤍
8:19 - which present are we referring to? The sonic screwdriver, the scan that allows him to save her to the digital afterlife, or the 24-year long night with his wife? 💙💙
Here's my Top 10 Favorite Doctor Who Christmas Specials so far: 1) The Next Doctor 2) The Return of Doctor Mysterio 3) The Snowmen 4) The Husbands of River Song 5) The Church on Ruby Road 6) The Time of the Doctor 7) A Christmas Carol 8) The Christmas Invasion 9) Twice Upon a Time 10) The End of Time Part 1 I also very much enjoyed the New Years Specials as well, with Revolution of the Daleks being my 2nd Favorite 13th Doctor Episode.
I love the Doctor Who Christmas and New Year's specials. Still waiting for Doctor Who to take on Die Hard. After all, it is the best Christmas movie ever.
No offense, Doctor Who Channel, but Halloween is the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas is the second most depressing time of the year. The first most depressing time of the year is Valentine's Day.
Very sad to say this years 'special ' left me cold and bored. Nearly switched off . I see what people mean now, by calling it Disney Who...it was very pretty and glossy ...and empty. Stuff happened. Stuff was said. The end. I'm in funny place with the show now. Most recent series had some stuff I've rewatchdd a few times. But also some episodes I barely made it though. This, and Rouge. Too episodes, that for me, have been so dull and poorly written I can't even stand to watch a UA-cam reaction to them. I'm 44, maybe it's not meant for likes of me now. But it's sad. I've never felt so unconnected to the show ever. Guess I'll just stick with my classic era and earlier modern stuff. Leave the current incarnation to those who like it. But I am sad about it. Joy to the World ? Bore to the World is more how I felt it.
Omg, I just realized, Doctor Who must be on the chopping block, and doesnt know it!! If Disney owns Fox, and Fox only existence in this world was to cancel the best Television shows, doesnt that put Doctor Who in danger???
"I'm gonna get killed by a Christmas treeeeee," is iconic.
Thanks for so meaningful and valuable video as always ❤💚❤️💚❤️
I never realized 12 said "Yippee kai yay" riding the sleigh. 😂😂
I can’t imagine how you hadn’t realised* that given that it’s always been in the subtitles.
Yeah, almost went full Bruce Willis😄😄
Because a lot of people dont watch shows with the subtitles on. Be fair @@DrWhoFanJ
@ Only stupid people.
Same lol omg

he prob went back and observed as 10 did

❤️😭😭😭❤️
*Screams in Whovian*
conspiracy theory, Capaldi is actually Santa
Eccleston. "Red bicycle when you were twelve"
Yes dr who time, finally
Jodie’s era should have had Christmas specials. Hopefully Big Finish can give her that too. 🎄
They can still make it happen! Fingers 🤞
blame chibbers
In fairness, I do like the New Years Specials and the theme of being better for a new year. I do wish the festive spirit was played up.
I think you might enjoy the Titan Comics Christmas special that they made for Whittaker in 2019
@topmandog1 it was a BBC mandate not Chibnall. He just took all the blame like the showrunner typically does.
Timey Wimey 😊 I remember the doctor saying that in the Blink episode 😂
Yep, that's where it all started😄
While Christmas trees are posing a threat in Doctor Who, my cats keep attacking our tree😄🎄😹
Merry Christmas all dr who fans
i think we all would love a sonic screwdriver for christmas, 😄
I don't, I got enough sonic screwdrivers as it is😆
@@AndrewChapman lucky you 😂😂😂
Thinking up a Snowman Dentist with an ice drill would have scared those snowmen off more quickly😂

Sending this directly to Russell 🥹

Thanks, Tyrell! ⏳ Happy winter solstice, as well. ❄

Yes
Big picture glitch 7:16 :(
Did the narrator say Christmas "president" at 1:01??
So, a comeback cameo from SNL's 'Killer Christmas Trees' from over 40 years ago? ;-)
(creepy little voice: "O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum...")
David seeing Rose one last time always kills me
Why no mention of "Feast of Stephen"??
Since this is mostly for anyone new to the show, probably didn't bother mentioning "Feast of Steven" as it's one of the lost episodes.
Here's my Top 10 Favorite Doctor Who Christmas Specials so far:
1) The Next Doctor
2) The Return of Doctor Mysterio
3) The Snowmen
4) The Husbands of River Song
5) The Church on Ruby Road
6) The Time of the Doctor
7) A Christmas Carol
8) The Christmas Invasion
9) Twice Upon a Time
10) The End of Time Part 1
I also very much enjoyed the New Years Specials as well, with Revolution of the Daleks being my 2nd Favorite 13th Doctor Episode.
The Next Doctor is probably my favorite as well. "Mysterio" was not at all Christmassy and for that reason I rate it dead last.
@@MikeCrowley-j2m Fair enough on both, but in my Top 20 Favorite Doctor Who Episodes from the Revival, they're both in said Top 20.
RIP Doctor who 1963-2017
Why no mention of The Feast of Steven? 🤪
Probably cuz it's among the missing episodes and this is mostly aimed at anyone new to the show. Could've briefly mentioned it though.
So, when 10 met Rose for the first time (from her point of view) on the First of January in 2005, Ruby was 7 days old. How time flies by 😅
3:30 Not them showing the Doctor killing DX
isnt the feast of steven the first christmas special?
Merry Christmas to all DOCTOR WHO fans everywhere!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Still Amazing 😍🤩😍👍😎🎄⛄🌈🎁🌈⛄🎄😎👍😍🤩😍.
Also, what about "Unquiet Dead"???
The unquiet dead was not a christmas special.
@@Acknowledgerofdoctorwho If they can mention the new years specials, then they can mention the Unquiet dead in a video about Christmas.
@@Alexandrashepiro Closest Eccleston got to doing a Christmas episode.
a failed one, not surprized
No love for The Feast of Steven?
IKR..Come on! it was the first Special!
They might've mentioned it if it wasn't among the lost episodes.
hey
I bet the Doctor and Ruby filming , scenes with the baby were fun lol 😂 3:09
I think Matt Smith also filmed with a baby as well lol
The feast of Steven was first.
If it hadn't been among the lost episodes, they probably would've included that too.
So the Doctor killing the Goblin King without much remorse contradicts him crying when he kills Sutekh, Like please that is contradictory
"Woke Christmas"
Do you really have nothing better to do with your time?
@@derianimp ikr i hate people saying doctor who is woke when it's literally not and never will be

I can't relate to the presenter, like 80% of the UK he doesn't have my lived experience. Them's the rules. Plus no idea who random man is. Laters
Nobody asked.
na this guys been alright, the presenters of the season 1 podcast were by far the worst choice
just say you are racist
