Yes, I would love to see more of the process it’s very interesting. Also, I’m pushing the boundaries by trying new things and not to be afraid to fail. Thanks so much for the content.
A challenge which I am going through right now is learning to be independent. In a way this is much more challenging because it requires a lot of maturity to understand to take actions in your daily life which will help you be a more mature person. I'm currently in my second year of college, and growing up has been the most difficult process of my life and there is so much discomfort. However I know that I have to do it, because in the blink of an eye I'll be 30! I love watching your videos Karin!
i love how you're very eager to share the process of your projects, & what you think about them. it's a really huge help for aspiring interior designers like me, also hypes me up to take up this course someday. please keep sharing and being an inspiration for us! ♡
Karin, here's my question, since the fireplace will possibly be changed because the client isn't in love with it, how does that work with your design pricing that has already been established based on scope of work as well as the contractor's proposal.
Request: can you talk more about how to deal with client feedback, unhappy clients, or clients that push back on decisions and how to get a happy medium between what you would recommend and what they like? Loved that peice in this video, great vlog!
So much samples to look at. Like the marbles. Sometimes its overwhelming to choose. How do you know that its the right design or right fit for your project? Thank you!
Take me a long time to understand how the BOUNDARIES can help me be a better person and a better professional. I think how I am punching the BOUNDARIES now is based on what makes me more grows even if a company with a NO. Putting my experience on top and just making people understand is just a BOUNDARIES for a better future in a relationship, or the project can have better results. Thanks, House of Bohn. This channel brings so much inspiration to my life.
I love hearing all your amazing advice. Even when its referenced to interior design, I take it and use it towards my business which is digital marketing. You are such a BOSS and an icon.
Karin I cannot thank you enough for inspiring me to become an interior designer. I'll be graduating in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in interior design💕💕 maybe one day I will get to meet you!!
I have honestly been waiting for a House of Bohn video 😄 This is so nice! I love the site visits, I love the teamwork, team meeting,... literally everything❤❤❤
I cannot wait to see how these projects turn out! The pink quartz bathroom is so gorgeous and unique. I also loved seeing some behind the scenes presentation content - it's refreshing to know that other designers still get nervous when presenting ideas. You guys are amazing!
Love your Energy Karin! Pushing the boundaries with my humble interior studio in Singapore with an upcoming new team ahead of us! You are my inspiration to the world of interiors & knocking out impossibilities!
Karin, you and your team are so inspirational!! Love your project updates and your day in a life VLOGS! I look forward to them always. Happy International Womens Day Everyone!!
I can't understand why the fireplace is so BIG. Not only is it too wide, it's WAY too deep. It takes up so much room which is lacking in the first place. I don't like it in that room. I can't wait to see the finished look because everything else looks fab! I LOVE ALL of your projects. I can't wait to see more. And whatever happened to that incredible house in Toronto (Caledon)??
Agree! The fireplace looks like it’s encroaching into the kitchen nook. It feels way to large for the space. Can’t wait to see the end result. I know it will be beautiful as always!
Agree.. and it seems *too rectangular* for this "zona de paso" (sorry, don't how the words for that) and also, because of the poligonal shape of the nook. Aswell doesn't match with the island... (It could be the high, more than the wide,I guess) 'couse it is so edgy / stunning new piece in the middle of the kitchen. Let us know the finaL solution 👏🏼👏🏼
Hello Karin and people from House of Bohn It's always great to watch your videos. I have a degree in publicity and advertising, but I am passionate about the universe of decoration and architecture. I live in Maringá, Paraná - Brazil I've watched countless videos of you that are always very well done and it's great to follow the entire creative process of the environments. Your work is incredible. Congratulations.
GM! This was so yummy! I can't wait to see more updates. I'm pushing the design boundaries in my home. Your townhouse was a great canvas for stretching my creative muscles!
Hi Karin, I loved this vlog. Your work processes and self development topics are so helpful. I’m pushing the boundaries in my life by starting my ID business in Santa Monica, CA and studying to take the IDEX exam.
Thanks Karin, definitely pushing boundaries on my end. Just recruited 10 new real estate sales associates in training and much much more. Thanks for the inspiration.👍🏿
Love your content and projects. How do you convince your clients? Specially for residential work to push the boundaries. Most of clients are too afraid of the unknown, and to be different. Even if you show how its goin to look. I wish they understand.
Thanks for your timely vlog! Great way to start the day being inspired to push pass boundaries. Looks like Spring is around the corner in Vancouver too....buried in snow outside of Ottawa :( You have a great team ! Bravo!
Happy International Women's Day 👑🔥 Pushing the Boundaries in any line of work (as well as personally) is important. It is great to find what works and build a brand from that, however as much as we want to have a signature look, style and feel to our work this still requires pushing the boundaries. It keeps the business relevant and to be able to truly deliver what the client needs and wants. It allows growth and the ability to create a meaningful impact through the work. Today's world requires this more than ever and in more ways than one. As always it was great to see the behind the scenes/day(s) in the life. The thoughts and perspectives shared are interesting and useful. 👑💖
Loved the shell-like tiles in the bathroom, another beautiful creation by the Bohn squad :). PS I also checked out Restaurants on the Edge on Netflix just recently.....LOVED :)
Karin, you mentioned in your older videos that you didn't finish Design school. I'm curious, how do you come up with your floor plans and designs in general? Did you get your license or do you use your contractor for all the details? I've heard some designers get around that (not being licensed) by using their contractor.
New video style is nice, only one thing is the slight camera shake on straight shots- which I understand is a stylistic choice. Makes it hard to watch though. Example: 3:29
Hii.. Iam from india And i love to .. Watch your vlog. Because you are such a nice way explain all the things you do.. And love to if you upload more big vlog and also deeply explain. One thing i want that explain start to finish ... Means how to choose design how plan when you plan what you think ... And then how you put on paper ... Plz reply and shoot.. That type of vlog
Hi, this question is for Karin or anyone who may have some advice. I'm an aspiring interior designer who's making a career change at 31. I'd really like to go into the interior design field, but I'm concerned it might be counterproductive since the field is on the decline. I'd like to do this in the long run and I'm not sure if I want to have my own interior design business. I just want to be sure I'll be able to get a job. The last thing I want is two degrees with no job prospects lol I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!
Dear Karin, the fireplace is way too big. I know how frustrating is to change a custom made product but the fire place has to change. If you want honest advice let me know. Love the gym you've created. Specially the numbers on the lockers.
Hi Karin, I love your channel so much, i watch all of your videos and follow you on instagram as well.. i find you very inspiring! I would like to give you a suggestion to make us even more hooked to your projects... what if you create a video for every project and tell us everything about it... there's a great channel here on youtube of an architect that does that: @DomaArquitetura. She even teach us (normal people) a little bit about the construction/design/etc. Thank you so much!!!!

Failure is part of success... embrace it! Thanks for watching our content!! ❤️

Yay! Go get ‘Em!
Karin Mam is just ❤ and her level of dedication is next level 🙌
🥰🥰🥰
I love the fireplace. How do you deal with a situation like that. Who will have to carry the cost if the homeowner wants to go smaller?
That tiling in the master bedroom looks like old tiling plastered and painted over. I love wavy tiling texture but this is over the top to my taste.
Love your content and projects.
How do you convince your clients? Specially for residential work to push the boundaries. Most of clients are too afraid of the unknown, and to be different. Even if you show how its goin to look. I wish they understand.

Love this
Love your videos - gives me a lot of inspiration
love the apartment but have to be honest, i think the fireplace is too overwhelmingly big. Beautiful, but not right for the space at all
agree..especially in smaller spaces it's really important to have smaller features
Yes, love the fireplace but feels a bit claustrophobic in the tiny corner!

If designers don't push the boundaries, then every place looks the same because of everyone playing it safe.
