WAY TO GO!! FINALLY the BIG ones! I have had enough little ones in the past to make ya cry 😢...but last year was SMASHING w 5lb single potatoes...still have the huge one to eat....turned out it is a Covington! I built my raised beds to be deeper this year (in upstate SC) taters still goin strong along w watermelon 🍉 and onions. What an accomplishment for you 🎉 congrats!!
hey what an abundant harvest, remember the soil needs to be light and fluffy. they dont like compact soil. you get more leggy tubers with compact soil. and yo can plant those roots thats not edible yet. also you can preserve the broken ones, they will heal and cure so dont fret!
Yer sweet potatoes are hairy and rooty sticks_like because of so much nutrients. Results no good yields. Just give it loose ordinary soil and you get good results. And don't cut nor trim the leaves for sweet potatoes don't like it.
Thumbs up for your positive attitude.
I definitely stuck with you, brother. I love watching harvest videos, even those that don't turn out like we wish they would.
Sticking with you til the end.
yum I LOVE sweet Potatoes!!!
When you were excavating that massive clump I totally had a Jurassic Park moment lol 😊❤
Great success from a raw bed. I hope you go back with a fork I know there are more. Happy harvesting.
