Paul, great video, my favorite sweet potato is the Purple Sweet Potato, I prefer the less sweet ones. I also grow the Red Japanese, Hannah and Garnet, I’ll start pulling mine next week to get them cured for Thanksgiving.

i SAW ANOTHER Vardaman video and of all the other varieties the vole went after the Vardaman's. I love my Garnet variety.

I’ve seen gardeners using natural pelletized castor oil in their garden to get rid of voles. You could put it underneath your containers and mix it into your soil.

Squirrels hid those in your containers I found a lot in Mines yesterday 😂 I caught them in the act hiding them

I'd love to grow Sweet Potatoes. But I'm zone 6 and its not so easy. I like a sweeter sweet potato. For me that is the pale cream variety at the store.

He’s zone 5. You just have to start them indoors much earlier.

What if you grew slips from a large sweet potatoe not small sweet potatoes from each variety to see if it makes a difference.
