Did you see that Matt from the Southerners Northern Garden made Laura a verb??? He Lauraed his containers. Which just means you've packed them full of beautiful plants. 💗🌱💗
Just went back through years 2017-2021 and am trying to compare overhead views with the drone. I've found that it sure has developed quick, and definitely changed ❤
Over the weekend I went back to when they were still at the townhouse (?). She had bees then. In the video just before they moved, Laura said she was going to have lots of trees on their new property. But even Then-Laura probably couldn’t have imagined what Now-Laura’s land would be like!
I have been watching just little before you bought the house. And every single video since! I had no idea it's been 8 years! I had lost my gardening love for awhile. And after my husband passed, I found UA-cam and you Laura at Garden Answer and slowly found my joy of gardening again. I started slow and now starting a new garden in a new home with my new dog Buddy who loves the cool green grass while I work . Thank you for teaching me and all the others so much that makes us successful gardeners too. ❤😊
That was so cool to look back! I understand how all the different pots were visually jarring, but it was really a fun progression to watch! We all learned a ton about combinations.
So AWESOME your tour of different years of pots!!! Thank you for taking THE EXTRA TIME for all the editing you had to do to get all those shots!!! My wife and really appreciate your expert editing!! We look forward to all your glorious planting and tours you do!! Thank you for including us in your life to be able to see the beauty of your work!
The backdrop in the beginning, all the way back to the Hartley and barn......with ALL the GORGEOUS plants and trees between, jaw dropping beautiful. The added drone footage was such a special treat.
Always fun to see the big containers, and boy! I had forgotten how stunning the purple fountain grass, sweet potato vine, and Superbena Imperial blue was! This video retrospective was fun to look back on.
As beautiful as your entire lawn and gardens are this row of planters and the row of hayracks on the fence have always been a thrill for me to watch grow! They are always so grand and gorgeous!
Such a pretty view behind you, surrounding you, simply love it Laura....What a great idea to show us the years gone by and each year they were stunning !! Thanks for each and every one of your videos :)
That was a fun walk down memory lane. Holy-moly, I've been watching you guys for years. I didn't realize how long until I remembered all the pot/plants. No wonder my daughter is a fan, instead of Sesame Street she's grown up on Garden Answer. It's really sweet because she calls herself my garden buddy and likes to pretend to make videos.
Looking back throughout the years of planting the containers was fun to see all the varieties of plants. All were stunning and each year have made a beautiful statement for your property along the fence and driveway entrance.
Love the line of pots, I remember the competition year. It was fun seeing the line of different combinations but matching pots looks so pretty. I always look forward to seeing the new mixture you come up with, love that dark purple supertunia and will use that in my pair of much smaller pots.
Who thinks that Aaron should be planting the hayracks and choose the plants too? Good morning everyone! Laura, those plants are my favorite color.... the purples! They are going to be glorious! Laura, let Aaron do that hayracks since he wanted them back! It would be so much fun! His knowledge and taste evolved, don't you think?
I gotta tell you, I love this format for this video. It's absolutely awesome to see how things have progressed and or has changed over the years. There are so many areas in your garden that you could do this type of video.
So I’m glad that you did a variety that one year it showed us how all of the different plants acted so we know for our own spaces! :) I think it would be awesome if you and Aaron did another one! ❤❤❤❤
Loved loved loved seeing the evolution of these pots and all of the different combinations you have tried. It’s so helpful to see/hear your lessons learned. Very interesting and informative!!
🌸Can’t wait to get the day started with you, Laura, and all my GA Friends around the world. It’s a beautiful time of year and the excitement builds-the pots are beautiful and the plantings from the past and present, just superb! Enjoy a great garden day wherever you are ☕️🪴💚🌼💜
I’ve always loved watching this yearly planter pot video! It was great to look back at years past too! Aaron! This one’s for you buddy - loved the drone shots and the way you cleverly stitched clips together. Well done!!
Absolutely love seeing the before and afters of all those pots. It really helps with the planning process for my annual pots, since i dont have nearly as many i want them all to look spectacular 😍 this is the best time of year!
I absolutely loved 2019 when you and Aaron did the mixed containers! It showcased such a wide variety of options people can chose from depending on their personal color preferences and was a fun and beautiful project!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the new overhead thumbnail! Thanks Aaron :) The panoramic view really displays your hard work and the beauty of your overall design. The daily catalog of individual plantings is interesting but this is INSPIRING!
Looking back through all the years of the pot plantings was fun! I do have to admit that the bubble gums were my most favorite! Of course they were all beautiful! Looking for to seeing how 2023 turns out! I hope you guys plant the hay racks this year
I love seeing what you plant in these large containers. Thank you for the look back on the previous years. Even though I’ve watched those videos in the past, it was nice to see the highlights together.
The first year I discovered your channel, it was Christmas and you and Aaron planted all the urns with greens. I was hooked from that moment on! These urns are going to be beautiful. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but I would love to see the urns planted at Christmas again😊
Always enjoy your videos. I particularly love when you look back. I must note how your video techniques have changed. They are much more varied and interesting. Kudos to Aaron and Ken!
Hi Laura and Aaron! I love the purple fountain grass and try to put them in 2 different pots every year. Those pots will be pretty. Kudos to Ken and Aaron for the look back at the pots. Thank you so much for sharing!
Even with a "fail" the pots look great🤷all the combinations are fun to see...and from the Arial view the white of the fence, the green of the grass, the gravel and the edging, along with the flowers make a gorgeous landscape scene 👍👏🎉😊
Such a change in the backdrop of the property. Got a simple glimpse of how the views have evolved. So exciting. Also what a wonderful way to take a specific project you have done before and make it fresh and new in your video. You are so clever! Thank you for all the inspiration.
OMG! What a fun video. I had no idea I have been watching your videos for so long. I loved reminiscing and seeing all the different years. It gave me ideas. thanks for making this your job. I love learning from you and Aaron.
I'm so glad you did the recap. I was specifically looking for how the bubblegum and sparkling rose held up because that's what I'm planting in my large pots with a sunflower as the thriller this year.
Wow, one of your best videos. Excellent information that will undoubtedly result in many more beautifully successful plantings, pots and landscape - and save $$ as well! I’ll be rewatching this at least a few times and I’ve already taken notes! Thank you so much for always sharing your results, better and best.
Love this video! Looking back on all of the plant choices you have had in the area through the years ! I just binged watched previous videos on the container competition for some inspiration for my pots this year ! Thank you for being such a positive influence. You inspire me everyday ! Keep doing your thing ! Maybe you and Aaron could do a container competition and choose a set of containers for each of you so they match I know you have a lot flanking openings and walkways. Once again thank you for sharing !
I recently rewatched the vompetition year and enjoyed certain combinations. I must admit I loved the warm combos that Aaron designed the most. I use blues, purples and corals, but lean heavy toward orange, yellow and purple. Thanks for the tour of years for these pots. Cannot wait for an update as these flourish.
I get home from work, neglect my laundry, indoor chores, etc, and spend my time relaxing, potting, dreaming, after watching Laura's newest videos! I think I might have a problem!😂❤
Loved this video! I especially loved you going back and showing the past seven years of planting up these large containers. I remembered really well the video with the competition you guys had as it is one of my all time favorite videos. I also loved how we could see so much beauty in each of your color groupings.🥰. Thank you for all the great content you put in to your channel! 👌🪴🥰
Did the pots at our church today, and I "Laura-ed" them...really packed those suckers in there!! Even had a friend set them up on drip for the first time, so prayerfully, we are GOOD TO GO! Thanks for the inspiration!
I was surprised to realize I have been watching GA for 7 YEARS!! Doesn’t seem possible the summer season goes by SO fast! Well, I watch year round-not just summer!!
Man I love those containers…but I think the very best shot of those is when you did a couple out by the driveway under the mulberry tree, Those were hughmongous, stunning 🤩
Loved looking back at all the different combinations used and how they each performed, thank you for sharing it all in one video. I really liked the different choices used when you two did the competition being able to see so many different arrangements, but I prefer the uniformity of the same combinations in each planter. Love starting my morning with your videos.
It’s cool to see the different yrs and designs that u decided to put together. Ur whole area has changed so much just love it, a lot of hard work has gone into those areas but looks beautiful. Keep showing us ur ideas it’s so inspiring. God bless u and urs.
Beautiful! Can’t wait to see the progression. I’m with you Laura, the year you and Arron did the mixed variety was fun to see but a uniformed planting really does make a more pleasing border for your driveway.
Did you see that Matt from the Southerners Northern Garden made Laura a verb??? He Lauraed his containers. Which just means you've packed them full of beautiful plants. 💗🌱💗
She deserves to be a verb!
I loved that! Not only did he use “Lauraed” as a verb but we all knew exactly what he meant 😂
🤣
What a hoot! Great expression!
It's awesome! ❤
I Laurafied my containers too and it's gorgeous. 💜
Greetings from Germany, a very happy and a good morning to all the Garden lovers here. ❤
Guten Morgen aus Columbus, OH.
Good morning from Orlando, Florida. It’s already 85 degrees and it just before Noon. I did my watering early this morning
Seeing Laura standing in front of those pots in the beginning of this video was nostalgic for me!!! I used to re-watch her videos for inspiration!
Bare hands too 🎉
I still do!!
Just went back through years 2017-2021 and am trying to compare overhead views with the drone. I've found that it sure has developed quick, and definitely changed ❤
She helped me grow so much as a gardener!
7 years. !!!!! Wow I've been following well before before you moved here!! Time Flys! I've loved seeing how much everything has has changed and grow!💚
Same I was watching GA when they still lived beside Aaron's parents. I have loved watching every episode/video they have made. 😁😊🥰
I started watching them just before they moved. 😊
Over the weekend I went back to when they were still at the townhouse (?). She had bees then. In the video just before they moved, Laura said she was going to have lots of trees on their new property. But even Then-Laura probably couldn’t have imagined what Now-Laura’s land would be like!
Great to have all of those years of planting in one video it makes comparing easier for us. I love this channel ❤️

Me too... And the doggy... 😊
I really loved it when you and Erin competed with those big pots. That was so fun to see the two of you choose your own colors and shapes and plants.
*Aaron 😊 Erin is a girl's name in the U.S..
At times the captions spell 'Erin’, however indeed, Laura’s husband name is Aaron.

Looking back at the competion pots looks too diverse and wild. Prefer similar flowers in each pot
Calming..

The drone shot is beautiful showing the grass and willow tree and it all just so manicured.
As beautiful as your entire lawn and gardens are this row of planters and the row of hayracks on the fence have always been a thrill for me to watch grow! They are always so grand and gorgeous!
Would like to see them revisited!
My favorite year was the competition with different plants in each pot.

Yes! Loving the old footage mixed in so we can see all the beautiful things you've done over the years. 💓
Make the videos with her! Your daughter will enjoy them in years to come!❤. Happy gardening.

Beautiful pots ! Shout out to Aaron and Ken for high quality video edits!!! So much better than regular TV❤

I think because it's done so well all the time people don't think about it. But the editing on this video is exceptional!
I've only been watching your channel for about 3 years now but seeing you do these pots is always such an inspiration.

The grass in the background here looks so beautiful, like a golf course!! Well done Aaron.

I am thinking of that also!
Fantastic videography and the editing was superb! I enjoyed seeing the pots planted up again too. 😊
You should give Aaron his own area to plant. His combinations are really bold and fun and it’s nice to have the diversity.
Last years planters is my favorite! They were so beautiful!🥰
