    Pretty Impressive. The only thing I observed is that he didn't tilted the pallet enough backwards after picking it. That's the ideal FL driving position

    That second chicane looked really tight. Grear job getting through it. I'd loved to seen the end part of his stacking though.

    the guy PULLS the first lever for LIFTING the load. I remember that for LIFTING the load I had to PUSH - NOT PULL - the liver. Does it depend on the specific machine model ?!

      @@douglasjfalcon9110 mine was closer in width and longer longer in length then that. Plus we had to go the chicane ( which had 3 corners), get out load, go backward in the chicane with the load. Place that load onto the elevated rack. Get a new load next to our place and go back into the chicane with the new load to set up for the next FLT candidate, then finally go back i n the chicane to finish.

    The first stacking location isn't ideal because the trainee can use the empty ground level space for extra turning advantage.

    Is a certificate granted to you by a company the same as a licence? Or is it only valid for that company and a Licence is more universal?

    • @josh24441

      SiliconDustCatcher there’s no such thing as a forklift license. Only certification. And it’s not the same as a driver license. And the certification is only valid with the company.

    you should show us a video on the proper way to stack those 275 and 375 gallon containers 10 high
    because it's kinda hard to tell if the ones on top are sitting perfectly straight, before you lower the forks
    from inside the forklift

    Poor lad tight that. I didn't have much room in my test but I had at least half-inch of wiggle room. Now not going to lie so much harder during training. Been on the forks a day and a half now. And I'v got getting far better than in the 12 hours of work time than the 25 hours to get my license. And i got that at the start of the year. So safe to say im still a tad rusty. Now dont get me wrong i'm far from an efficient operator but im getting a tad faster and used to the machine. Still got to think about it but its because 2nd nature.

      I've just passed mine the other week. Does it get easier once you're in the real world? Tbh I thought the test was actually harder than my actual driving test. I managed to fluke it on 28 points though

    • @DELirious97
      @DELirious97 2 роки тому

      @@benrichardson7487 I got 18 points myself. and yes far easier once you get your truck and get a few hours behind you. Doing your training is so much harder than in reality. Most racking you can do a 360 in the miles with some room to spare. Don't rush and take your time. You may have seen people beat on the truck flying around. Dont take your time because if you do you can throw yourself out of the truck dont to be going fast just a sharp enough turn will do it. As long as you take your take and keep an eye around you yall be fine. Also, note. Your going to drop some pallets. Well many pallets Its part of the learning curb

    • @benrichardson7487
      @benrichardson7487 2 роки тому +1

      @@DELirious97 I'm going to try not to drop any pallets. The jungheinrich trucks I'm going on have doors, so I don't need to worry about getting flung out 😂. Plus I won't be ragging it about. Thank you for your reply mate ❤️

    • @DELirious97
      @DELirious97 2 роки тому

      @@benrichardson7487 you dont need to rag it. A to sharp of a turn over 5mhp can do it. And its bound to happen with dropping pallet. Try not to get to aggravated by it and most of have fun dont stress out. Mistakes then happen and that can quickly turn into royal fuckups

      Depends on the load if it's heavy it will bend the forks because the forks are quite flexible anyway and you'll see that when it lifts if it does you just tilt it back a bit then move.

      Because in the course they teach you to use the hand break when you're using the hydraulics for safety the hand I agree with you on that but it depends on what your comfortable with. Also speed comes with experience no one can be an expert instantly.
